I love "Best Baguettes" but this food truck puts them to shame. Best part about Banh Mi Saigon is it's park in front of a tap house (Brother's Cascadia) who brews some of the best beers in The Pacific Northwest. But other than that, you definitely got to try their lemongrass beef, I promise you'll be back. At $6-$7 a sandwich, the portions will guarantee your money's worth. (Update 6/17/2020) Asked for no mayonnaise, and the guy working covered my rice place with mayo. The rice was soggy/mushy definitely should not been served to customers. Dropping my rating to 3 stars until they get their act together or just come here when the Asian lady is working. So disappointed since I was bragging about how good this food truck is to a colleague of mine.

Long time customer here. You can’t go wrong with a bahn mi, but also try the lemongrass chicken salad! It’s so delicious!

These are not the most traditional bahn mi, but they are generous flavorful sandwiches. My lemongrass chicken had more meat than is expected, but breast not the traditional thigh. Generous veg and appropriate sauce. The bun was very good - a little more solid than the aethereal traditional bun, but with a nice crust and light middle. Apparently they bake on-site, and as an avid baker I was impressed. Hot sauce on the side has chunks of jalapeno or maybe Serrano pepper. Hubby got the grilled pork and said the flavor profile seemed more Korean than Vietnamese, but it was tasty and generous meat portion. He felt the hot sauce also read more Korean - most bahn mi just has pepper slices - but notes it packs real heat. The coffee should be sweeter, stronger, and richer, traditionally, but was a very nice iced coffee option. "Better than anything at Starbucks" was his comment.

Had the BBQ pork and it was delicious. Plenty of meat and the sandwich holds together as you devour it! Took less than 5 min to get my order. Having the option of a cider along with it from Brother's is perfect.

Great banh mi, great people, and great prices! I had the pork and it was delicious. I didn’t catch the name of the guy who took my order, but he was an army vet and an all around awesome person. Happy I found this place, I’ll be back!

I’ve been eyeing this food truck for a while, and I thought it would be nice to have bahn mi so close instead of traveling to Portland for my favorite. The service was great I won’t dispute that. The sandwich looked so good but unfortunately it lacked flavor and crispy-ness. The bread isn’t a baguette but more of a soft roll which made my ham bahn mi all very mushy and one note. The vegetables, though fresh and crisp, were not pickled as I typically prefer. Great stop for some but a miss for me.

Holy moly this is some good stuff! Just had Best Baguette a few days prior and yeah it’s not the same crusty hard bread and pickled veg but damn this was better in my humble opinion. My BBQ pork was like the damn filet mignon of pork slices! Came here randomly after a job and am thinking of how to get my friends up into Washington to try this! So good!

I ordered the beef sandwich with a fried egg and it was AMAZING! Everything was perfect! I highly recommend this place! This was my first time getting anything from Banh Mi SaiGon and I will be back very soon! Great atmosphere, Great beer, Great music, Great food. Brewery and food carts!!

Excellent service. Good flavors. Barbecue Chicken sandwich was very good, the Saigon sandwich was super good I will definitely be having that again.

This was the worst by far bahn mi ever. Ordered grilled pork. It was not grilled. It was ground pork and veggies not pickled. Omg usually a roll is fresh. This roll had to be at very least “day old”. I threw this away not able to eat it.

Decent sandwich but definitely not a Banh Mi. The bread was dry, not chewy or crusty like a typical baguette. The ratio of fillings was off and every flavor tried to overpower the others rather than the typical subtle meld of flavors in a Banh Mi.

We love their Banh Mi!! Always delicious, always friendly. Definitely try the egg rolls and get an egg on your sandwich. This spot is such a great end to a ride- beer and a banh mi! Thanks you guys!

Not sure what kind of take on Banh-Mi's they offer here, but was pretty off putting be honest. Bread wasn't a baguette style and it felt undercooked and not crispy at all. Tried the BBQ Chicken and it was a weird almost shredded chicken concoction with way too much sauce and It Drowned the whole sandwich. Pretty bummed as I was hoping for a better banh-mi option close to home. The staff and cook was awesome and great service - Just have to know what your getting into for the Banh-Mi's tho.

Lemongrass chicken and Saigon Special Bahn mi were fabulous! Tons of fresh veggies and succulent meats, encased in a delightful crusty French bread. Super friendly service as well. Pairs perfectly with a beer from Brothers Cascadia brewery.

We had never had Banh Mi before eating here, and we love it now! The food is fresh, and cooked perfectly. The person who's been on staff when we've gone is so nice and really knows how to make food perfectly. We'll be going here as often as we can!

My favorite Vietnamese restaurant in Vancouver and it’s a food cart!? Seriously it’s amazingly good. The beef salad with eggs is my personal favorite. It’s TOO good. ;-) (They even home make their mayonnaise, everything is so fresh there!)

The worst banh mi I have ever had. It was the bread. It's supposed to be a crisp light Baggett. This was more like a dense bread that soaked up and become a mushy mess. I had high hopes and was very disappointed.

If comfort food exists, it’s this. The employees are fantastic and the food is phenomenal every time. EVERY TIME. Offer a stranger a Banh Mi, you have a friend for life.
