If you like the calm serene stay in the middle of the farm then close your eyes and go ahead with the reservations with Vaksana, cause you'll never regret! Ensure to read their do's and don'ts in their website, quite helpful and the way they receive you & treat you like family is something you'd need to experience it and simply words can't explain! Best ever! Pets are welcome here! They have an excellent collection of books to read and spend time without screens, we must utilise it to get rid of the constant screens time! The food is so homely and preped with really good organic ingredients! The protion size is surplus so please be mindful of any wastages and inform them ahead! The staff were so kind and helpful at all times!! Wholeheartedly thanking Kruba, Siva uncle Amma and Paati for hosting us! As a memory of our stay, we were asked to plant a sapling which we'll sure to go and visit again! Icing on the cake is Angel and Rasu, two lovely friendly Indies who'll steal your heart!

From the moment we arrived, via train and auto, we received the very warm Vaksana welcome. The house was very comfortable with everything we needed. The views from the windows across the trees and flowering plants was a pleasure. Everyone at the farm looked after us very well, we were shown around the farm and had the chance to explore for ourselves too. The food of course is delicious, varied and plentiful. From the farm we enjoyed walking to the local village of Rettanai. Be sure to visit Vaksana, you will not be disappointed.

I stayed at Vaksana Farm for 3 days with my family. We had gone there to spend some quality time together as a family. It was a wonderful, beautiful experience for us. My 7 year old son is in love with this place. He had a good time in the farm house feeding the farm animals, riding a tractor & strolling in the fields. My husband & me also enjoyed our stay at this amazing place. The stay was very comfortable. The best part is home cooked meals all 3 times a day. We relished the organic, farm food all the 3 days. I feel very blessed & grateful that we planted a sapling as a family. My son enjoyed Kiruba Shankar sir's company. People at the farm at very hospitable. Great service rendered. It was a great, enjoyable experience for all 3 of us. We felt very close & happy connected to nature full time. Thank you Kiruba sir for this beautiful experience. Thank you!

The 3 nights spent in Vaksana farm was an amazing experience for me and my family. My parents who are in their 70’s and my mother in law who is 82 especially enjoyed the peace and calm and tranquil atmosphere of the farm. My 14 year old son had enough adventure of his own with the farm animals, planting trees, plucking fruits, having a pump shower in the outside etc. Vaksana has something for all ages. The things which set it apart from other resorts are:- 1. The homely atmosphere they have created and the way everyone interacts with you, it feels like you have come to visit some relative. ❤️ 2. The amazing hot home cooked meals make u feel you are at home. One can see a lot of love goes into making these ❤️ 3.the wonderful library in the farmhouse is an added bonus. I can keep writing for example the old style board game which they have provided can engage you with hours of fun. Overall if you wish to just unwind in the lap of nature and recharge your batteries this is definitely the place to be❤️❤️❤️ Many thanks to Kiruba and his entire family for making our stay pleasant Vidya The

Vaksana farms have cosy farm houses openly designed aiding co-living and bonding with your group. Our family of 10 had the absolute best time staying in one of these as we planned a getaway for my daughter's first birthday. We loved the fresh homely food cooked by Kasthuri Amma. Her care to meet our dietary needs was high as was her interest in learning about our family. The kids enjoyed meeting the animals at the farm and learning to bathe at the pump-set. We adults equally enjoyed these experiences. The hospitality this family extended from booking (by Sujani) until the end of our stay was commendable and made us feel extremely relaxed. I will certainly return for a visit soon.

Visited the place for a day with our family . Great experience. Excellent hospitality by the people running the place . Hats off to the mother -daughter duo for meticulously planning the menu served fresh , hot and healthy. There are a number of animals , seasonal fruits and veggies and fun water activities. All in all a memorable experience. No TV , so you really get family time to see each other and talk as well ! Plus we can take one pet of ours also ..

Our recent visit to this charming farm was a heartwarming escape from the hustle of our mobile-driven lives. The experience was not just a retreat but a journey into a world where time seemed to slow down, and genuine connections blossomed. The farm owners, true to the essence of hospitality, embraced us with care and affection. From the warm welcome to the heartfelt goodbye, their personal touch made our stay memorable. The delicious meals served spoke volumes about the love and dedication put into the food preparation by Grandma Lakshmi Paati and Mom Kasthuri Ammal. Every bite felt like a taste of home, infused with generations of culinary expertise. What struck us as truly remarkable was the juxtaposition of this farmhouse, nestled in the heart of a remote village, seamlessly offering fast internet. It was a testament to the thoughtful planning and commitment of the hosts to provide a blend of serenity and modern connectivity. For our children, this was not just a getaway but a learning experience. They discovered the joy of simple pleasures, interacting with farm animals, playing traditional games, and immersing themselves in the mini library's treasure trove of books. In a world where technology often dominates, this farm served as a gentle reminder of the beauty in disconnecting to reconnect. We left with not just full stomachs but also full hearts, grateful for the warmth, simplicity, and genuine hospitality that defined our stay. To the wonderful hosts and the entire farm family, thank you for sharing your haven with us. It's more than a place; it's a haven of love, learning, and laughter. Gratefully, Senthilkanna JN

I wanted to treat my mother to a retreat away from her busy work life and chose to take her to this family-run farmstay for that. I can now say it was the best decision I made. We had a very pleasant stay in the tastefully curated accommodation with even more tasty home-cooked food. We found very kind hosts in Kasthuri Amma who arranged our meals and offered games, her son Kiruba who warmly welcomed us and her husband Sivaramanan who kindly offered to drive us on his way to Pondicherry. My mother could unwind with ease and I’m glad this tranquil farmstay far away from busy city life helped achieve it.
