I found myself here when Air Vanuatu cancelled our flight to Tanna at the last minute. We needed somewhere to stay throughout the four night delay, and this restaurant was at the resort. What a fortuitous thing that was! I was chuffed to eat simboro (2950VT) after watching Robert Oliver speak of it so reverently on Pacific Island Food Revolution this season. So great to see Ni-Vanuatu food on restaurant menus, and this dish, which is available in chicken or fish (poulet), definitely delivered half-quarter-quarter. I also enjoyed poulet ceviche, and a dessert of cooked plantain stuffed with freshly grated coconut. As I was so impressed by the simboro, I went back solo to try another dish: a seafood salade niçoise (2950VT). Again it made the most of island produce, like excellent snake beans, tomatoes and watercress, teaming them with wedges of boiled potato, salad greens, black olives, boiled eggs and strands of sweet red onions. The seafood component sat on vibrant beetroot purée: two generous pieces of pan-seared poulet, two king prawns and two tenderly handled scallops. Breakfast has also been well executed and interesting across two mornings so far. Also love the charming staff, and Ginger, the delicately proportioned restaurant cat.

First dinner in Port villa, and so delicious with detailed presentation. Every dish was unique and scrumptious 😋 . Staff was so friendly. We got halal meat even though it wasn't shown anywhere, but we were conformed by the chef. It was a little pricey but worth it. Big shout out to the Cafe Villa team. Yes, there were two beautiful 🐈s . My kids were happy to feed them.

Very good food, a bit pricey but best food we had on the island. We stayed at this resort so late here often. We loved the lamb shank and pork belly. Good breakfast too. Most of the staff was excellent and friendly. Our last day - the staff were all trainees so service was slow and we kept having to ask for our drinks but other than that, I would recommend.

Finally after much Angst trying to find a decent vegan meal in Port Vila Vanuatu, we are very happy to say this is the place to go. Excellent food. 2 vegan starters and 2 vegan mains to choose from and they change seasonally. Quality of the food and the service was excellent! What a little gem. Thanks also to our lovely server Basil!

Delicious food! Went there for dinner with family on our first night in Vanuatu. We had a absolutely awesome server named Basil, he was great!! Went above and beyond helping organize a surprise birthday cake after our delicious dinner. Staff were the best, they all sung happy birthday with us.

I visited for dinner twice, and from the moment I stepped in, I always felt welcomed. The staff is lovely and attentive. The food was delicious—I enjoyed a poke bowl with tofu one night and quinoa on the other. The portions were just right for me, as I was after light dinner.

Amazing dinner experience. The food was delicious. I was there for happy hour and it was a very good deal. Their special menu was delicious Anna my waitress was exceptional. She was very attentive to my need. And gave great advice. I wanted to go back to my hotel by foot but it was very dark so she called me a cab as I did not have a phone and made sure I was looked after and gone safely home.

Omg the eggplant moussaka and Malaysian Veggie Curry were fabulous, has to be the best food on the island along with the 3 Pigs next door, we came every night as the hotels do not know the meaning of the words vegan and vegetarian! Fabulous! AND I loved the kittens!

We had most of our meals at Cafe Vila with breakfast included in the holiday we purchased. Cafe Vila provided many meal choices. The staff were great, special mention to Elizabeth, Sarah and Cooksley who made us feel very welcome.

Great place! Friendly staff, parking outside, food is good and the vibe/environment is awesome. Only issue we had was that a group of 3 tourists came in and started recording everyone with a hi-tech camera which made us and other customers quite uncomfortable, and unfortunately the staff did nothing about it. Otherwise, excellent place!

Cafe Villa was an Oasis in Paradise. A relaxed cafe for Breakfast, afternoon drinks or dinner is a great option. Owner Paul’s relaxed style & awesome service from Staff, especially Elizabeth & Anna had us coming back for more.

Excellent restaurant. We had fish curry, pan fried fish and browny for desert. Everything was fresh and excellent taste. Very nice atmosphere and good service. Will certainly come back, while here at Vanuatu :)

Ridiculously over priced. Like meals ranging from $25 aud and up. The meals arent that big. The cocktails are expensive as well almost $20 -30 aud. The staff are amazing and the food tastes good. That's about it.

The food here is fairly good and the coffee is great. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. In would recommend they put a little more thought in to the way they write their signs.

Wow! This restaurant would be a raging success in any location in the world. The chefs seriously know what they are doing. We dined there six times last week, and every meal was superb; from the Eggs Benedict, to the Classic Burger, to the Salt & Pepper Calamari, and the Beef Tenderloin w/ Diane sauce. Unutterably superb, and well priced - with 2 for 1 cocktails from 5:30 to 6:30 each night. Naughty Fruit Punches as the sun sets - 100% awesome. Best kept food secret in Vanuatu? Could well be!

Couldn't complain about the service because there wasn't any Had to finally get own menu's then go and ask for someone to take our order. Wine came as we finished our dinner after requesting it 3 times. Sad to say we won't be going back.

Decided to have dinner here as it looked really inviting from the road. The restaurant layout is great, open-air dining. Several options on the menu as there is a regular menu and then the specials as well, relatively expensive but that is everywhere in Vila. Service was super friendly and really quick to take orders. The meals were presented well when they came out and the flavours were great. Two of our group loved their meals but we also ordered two of the specials which were mahi-mahi in coconut but unfortunately the fish was really dry and the meal needed seasoning. We also had dessert which was just okay, the mango cheesecake was a bit bland.

We went here often for meals and drinks when staying at Nasama resort. It was excellent. Did what we wanted, fed us and gave us drinks. The food is very reasonably priced and was tasty. The chefs and waiting staff were very friendly and prompt. Some of the outside tables were a bit wobbly, so be careful of that. They do takeaway coffee, and there were always locals dropping in for one and for breakfast/a meal, so that tells you it is a bit of a destination. There were plenty of breakfast offerings and also kids menu, so that made them happy. It was nice to sit on their balcony and watch the buses and locals go buy. There's a bar attached to the Cafe, where most people from the Resort go for a few drinks - I know we did. Happy hours most nights, and also two for one cocktails Tuesday and Thursdays. They also have Australian Foxtel, so you can get your fix of local Aus sport.
