Enjoy fabulous pina coladas in a relaxed setting with friendly attentive staff, and take in the beautiful sunset and views across the bay. The fillet steak was sublime, the seafood delicious and the pizzas perfect.

Excellent place! We just stopped in for a beer and iced nougat - but definitely would go back for a larger meal. The manager, Jerry, was super friendly and made us feel very welcome. Highly recommend this place - not too busy as it’s a few mins walk from the main market.

Pretty decent woodfire pizzas, really tasty crusts but the toppings are a bit lacking. The Family pizza is quite large, I would say the regular size is a more traditional large size (my family pizzas were sticking out of the box). I got takeaway, but from what I could see the eat in experience looked quite nice.

Great restaurant my family and I went to. The weather was horrible and the staff looked after us to keep us out of the rain and did everything to make it special and safe for my two kids. Thanks so much guys! We will be back next time we are in port villa

What an amazing place to enjoy the evening. Brilliant food, with easy gentle background and great view of the ocean. Whether you’re here for a drink or a meal, they sure are not going to disappoint. Oh and the service and friendliness is the best to expect that lovely Vanuatu people to offer.

After spending most of our time in Vanuatu on smaller islands and enjoying island food, we decided to indulge a little on our return to Vila. We stopped by for pizza and cocktails. We were lucky enough to get a waterside seat and enjoy the pretty harbour views. We shared a pizza and it was just the right size for us. Cocktails were reasonably priced and oh so tasty!

This place was lovely! We ordered the seafood platter for 2. Amazing lobster, coconut crab and lots more seafood paired with delicious dipping sauces. Couple that with some refreshing cocktails and a beautiful sunset view!

One of the best water front places for a great feed and drinks!! Service is great, quick, and the food is so fresh and good!! You can get some bread and feed the fish while you wait, what a marine life in front of the bar!! Had lunch there 3 times!! Loved it!! Defs a must if you are in Port Villa.

We ate at a number of highly rated restaurants during our stay in Port Vila but Au Fare was the best. We ended up dining here 3 times and dropping by for afternoon drinks on the walk back from Port Vila to Fatumaru Bay. The menu offers a lot of choice, and we sampled seafood, steak, pasta, pizza, and cocktails, all of which were fantastic. The staff were genuinely friendly and attentive, and the location was beautiful. Highly recommended.

Was in Port Vila from the 10th of Oct to the 17th. So booked dinner at Au Fare restaurant for Tuesday night, I can say the service was very poor. When we arrived we ordered our first drink, then meal and no one asked if we need second drinks. After dinner I ordered a glass of cointreau for desert and I did not get it , but was charged into my invoice. If the restaurant is busy that is acceptable , but the restaurant was not too busy, has we could see 2 waiter & 3 waitress standing behind the counter talking.

This place is a total disgrace ! We had to wait 1h45 minutes to get our food delivered... yes it’s island time, but don’t take that concept too far. 30pax sitting in the restaurant, 5/6 chefs in the kitchen. Are you for real? Yes the staff apologised for it, and we got given some pate to munch on -which was really average quality, but at some point this is not acceptable! You can’t expect us to think you are being slammed. In regards to the food, well again total disaster ! We order the seafood platter, asked for the items to be GF, and everything came over cooked. What a shame !!!! We also think some of the seafood wasn’t fresh. We got a discount on our bill, 1000VATU -not even 10%, but we didn’t ask for it tbh, we just wanted to leave this place ASAP. We could tell the floor staff were embarrassed because of the situation, so I guess some people are aware of what’s going on....

Lobster mornay was good but otherwise everything was very average - half of the meal was cold and when we told the waiter she microwaved the prawns and returned them, was awful. Staff seemed like they didn’t know what they were doing and our bill was incorrect. The view and singer were great though. Overall, wouldn’t recommend based on our experience

Beautiful views accompanied by fresh and delicious lobster and coconut crab. Very grateful to have been recommended this place and made our stay at Vanuatu one to remember.

I did a reservation for 2 and it was wonderful to seat at only 1m away from the water. Very exotic relaxing atmosphere , we admiring Port Vila by night and the fish in the water. But most important was the food!!! Fantastic Very good welcome!

Had the pizza the pastry was under cooked and lacking in topping. Ordered 2 cocktails which were nice but at a little over $50aud /4000vt each,the price was a bit over the top. The staff could do with a bit more hospitality training. Would I recommend the restaurant, No.

the best restaurant in Port Vila. A combination of general pizza restaurant and a gourmet French restaurant. if you want a good foodie experience then just ignore the laminated pizza and salad menu and look for the daily double blackboard gourmet menu. We had the best time here. And the most professional and friendliest waitress on the island works here, she is called Suzy. Thank you!!
