This place was disappointing. So it starts with making a payment of roughly 30 Aus dollars to get in. The ladies are friendly and helpful, but it is run down and very poorly maintained. Some safety ha d rash looked like they would break if touched and what was I'm sure a beautiful part of Vanuatu is now just water ponds , broken concrete and heaps of Algae. Then you walk towards the water fall and are greeted another lovely lady whom you must give 60 Aus dollars too. (Please note these price were for 2 adults and 1 child). The waterfall is beautiful but again there has been little to no maintenance recently and in places it os dangerous for smaller people. I would prefer to drive further to blue lagoon and pay less money for actual clean water.

Got here and planned to do a small joke and check out a waterfall. Turns out the fee is 2 part. 1500pp to swim and enjoy the rock pools and the stream. Bit steep but what the heck. Nice gazebos to have drinks and relax. The staff (apparently) was taking up about 85% of the sun loungers so we couldn't really grab one of those. Now here's the catch... if you wanna go to the actual waterfall (owned by Chinese according to the signs) you gave caugh up additional 3000 vatus!?! We opted NOT to pay for more than ~60 AUD to see a frickin waterfall We went up to first bridge just above the rock pool to take a few photos and apparently this was too far according to a staff member. After shooing us off, he went to occupy one ofnthe sun loungers. It's a pretty place but the pricing and what you get for it is just not worth it. Just avoid it!

Disappointed!!! Waterfall has great potential that isn't treated as good as it should and isn't inviting, is being sold (!!!) for no less than 40$us. Nature with price tag, shame... And even if so, price your "private property" normally 😮‍💨

Nothing else I can say but WOW!! What a great day. We booked a tour with Evergreen Tours who picked us up at our hotel. The tour guide was amazing and he has grown up at the waterfall and has heaps of stories to tell and some cool tricks using the native plants. There are 89 steps up the mountain to get to the top and it’s about 800m of track. Take insect repellent, sunscreen, swimmers, towel and water. There are 5 different places to swim and you start at the top at the waterfall and then make your way down the mountain where you can swim in all the other areas (and jump off a few rock ledges if you feel the urge). There’s a hidden cave behind the waterfall which is pretty cool to swim into. A great platter of local food was waiting for us at the bottom of the mountain while we waited for the transfer to arrive. A really great day and well worth booking a tour. You can also hire a car and do the walk on your own if you want and I think there is an entrance fee when you arrive but if you book the tour, the fee is included. I would have done it again if I had time.

it takes at least half an hour of walking through the forest to reach the top of the waterfall. an incredible attraction of the area that I believe is worth a visit to anyone who happens to be there. you are literally in the jungle. you cross two streams until you reach that's why I prefer someone to wear his swimsuit his shorts light clothes and havaianas a towel with him and nothing else like me because it's relative it's tiring to have weight. we climbed to the end of the waterfall we took the best insta photos a magical landscape straight out of a fairy tale. you take a bath normally, just the water is a little cold, it is also drinkable. we went in the morning when there were not many people. because you will see in the forest trees and plants that do not exist anywhere else following the path to the top, some trees their roots and trunk are above the surface rarely already

Absolutely beautiful! We were here in July (the dry season) and the falls were in full flow. We were lucky enough to get a guide, which seems to be an erratic thing. The guide gave us a great tour and showed us where we could swim and jump into pools below the biggest falls at near the top. If you don't have a guide, watch to see where other people are swimming and jumping in. Note: Unfortunately it seems from other reviews that a long drought can affect the flow of water, but I get the sense that all these people were warned and opted to go in anyway only to be disappointed. Basically, if they tell you there's not much water flow, believe them and consider doing something else instead.

Beautiful cascading stream and high waterfall at the top. Easy walk through the garden of Eden all the way up. Crystal clear water, refreshing to swim with lots of natural pools to choose from.

It was a great experience but it sucks that you have to pay twice at the same place..first time for the "pool" and second time to do the bushwalk

Absolutely worth it. We booked with evergreen tours, and it was a very enjoyable tour. Tour guide Joshua was helpful with taking photos and telling us about the local plants and history. He had two really cute dogs.

The entry fees is 2000 vatu for an adult and it is totally worth the price. It’s a 10-12 minutes trek to the falls and you will come across 5 small natural pools to swim. We swam at the waterfall pool and it was an experience. Loved the whole park and I will highly recommend this waterfall for your trip.

a very impressive waterfall and lovely cascades, but so expensive (2500 VAT) and not locally owned. it’s very possible to get out there by local bus - just got to ask a few different drivers if they’ll drive you out for a few hundred vatu!

Decent day here. Long slippery walk to the top, but what the heck, we did it anyway. The pools are pretty small but super refreshing after the climb up the mountain. It’s such a pity this piece of paradise was sold to a foreign company. Whilst employing locals, the profits are going offshore to the Chinese owners.

We came here with a tour. There are multiple entries with ticket, lower entry is suitable for family with young kids. After 20 minutes walk, steep steps and crossing the river twice we're rewarded with the view. There are ropes guiding to the top and the guide show us spot for diving. Truly beautiful place.

Amazing place! Don’t forget to buy tickets at Evergreen office in Port Vila to save some money. You pay there 2.500 VUV pp for a band and you are allowed to go up.

Absolutely beautiful waterfall but excessively expensive at 2500 vatu per person and for what? It's clear money isn't spent on providing quality amenities and adequate rubbish bins. We encountered quite a lot of rubbish as well as emaciated dogs which was quite confronting. Vanuatu needs to get serious about ensuring revenue actually benefits the people.

Wow wow wow. crystal clear water, clear blue swimming holes and sparkling, tumbling cascades. Absolute paradise. Colourful tropical flowers and plants top off the experience.

A great experience walking up the waterfalls, I would definitely recommend going to the top. You pay 1 fee to enter (1500vt) and another fee to get to the bigger waterfall at the top (2000vt) which I found a bit odd since there is not much to see at the bottom, so if you are going I would recommend going the whole way.

It was a little expensive if you go to waterfall, but this is very beautiful place! People in here are very kind and gave me free fruits! Just don't trust bus driver.

Absolute waste of time. The entrance fee vibe was like some shifty indo ish. The lower cascades section was not really deep enough for decent swimming and much smaller than the photos of similar fresh water swimming spots around Port Vila. We were charged 1500 vuv each for entrance and told it would be 3000 vuv each to see the waterfall up top that the locals sold to a chinese company and then want to charge you twice effectively. Everything was dilapidated and the bar didn't have either of the things off the menu I chose so I didn't bother. Barmaid just shrugged. We visited in winter so the place was basically empty. Why pay for swimming if theres great beaches down the road that are free. Go to the Beach Bar down the road instead like we did.

The entrance fee is 3500 Vatu (you need to pay twice 1500 + 2000) and it's just too expensive. Niagara is free and Iguasu is about 20 USD. The cascad might be nice but the entrance fee for islands around here are roughly 1500 Vatu. I'd rather go to islands.

Wonderful place where we could swim, walk and admire the waterfall! It is amazing cascades so well preserved! The area is very well maintained! Thank you to share with us!

This walk was way harder than we were told. Jandals/thongs were not really suitable footwear. Such a beautiful place, but we were so under prepared.

Seriously not worth the money… VUV4500 per person for a small waterfall. Nature is nice but not worth the money. It’s a rip off!

Awesome place to visit when in Vanuatu. Don't forget your swim gear. The water is lovely and clear but pretty cold. Well worth it. The hike up is pretty straight forward, though the two creek crossings are slippery to negotiate.

Great experience overall but pretty expensive at 28AUD per person. Person at the ticket counter claimed it was privately owned which seems a bit dubious. Main waterfall is average to good butbthe swimming pool is very nice and refreshing. Theres also several other levels to checkout and swim at. We only stopped at the 'slide' level which was cool.

Gorgeous water holes and scenery on our 20min hike up the mountain to this beautiful Cascades waterfall. Definately a must do. Kids 5 + can hike too although i wouldnt recommend it to elderly or very young kids as its quite slippery even with a guide rope.
