It’s sad to see people’s reviews giving 2/3 stars because it’s far to walk to the reception? They come in a golf cart in 2 minutes after calling reception to get you It is pricey for the food but the whole island is pricey. Amazing staff, super helpful and great CLEAN food. The breakfast buffet could have one or two extra items but when I asked for boiled eggs they accommodated. Super clean room with wonderful cleaners. Beautiful final touches to my room for when I arrived. I slept like a baby… no disruptions at night. I will definitely stay here again. This island is incredible. Embrace the simple way the locals live with gratitude and kindness

Nice and convenient resort near Port Vila with large rooms and fantastic views over the beach and the pool area. The food at the restaurant is also top notch. Make sure to book one of the waterfront view rooms. Also, beware that the place is very popular with families, so it might not be the right option for a relaxing holiday during school holidays.

We stayed here some time ago, but I'm just getting around to doing the review now. We really enjoyed our stay here, the staff were friendly, the room was clean and we had a great view out over the water. Also the bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I've ever slept in! We ate a lot while we were there, so didn't mind the walk into town. We always felt safe, even after dark. The kyaks were great to be able to use, and we were able to have a good paddle up and down the lagoon, and watch all the marine life underneath us. Would be happy to stay here again.

My daughter and I stayed two weeks at the resort in quarantine. The room is very specious, comfortable beds. Good equipped kitchen. WiFi 100%. Prompt service from reception. Dietry request was followed up really well. Thank you very much for making our stay as enjoyable as possible!!

Accommodation fantastic & staff extremely friendly. Restaurant, food options is where this place lets itself down. Very expensive for whats available and limited kids options. The owner may want to consider paying attention to these reviews instead of riding his jet ski most of the day. We payed considerable $ on staying at your hotel and having no coffee available at breakfast on two occasions and then asked to pay when we asked staff to make it for us is a bit rich considering breakfast was supposed to be included in package..

We had a lovely stay - the staff were so friendly, especially in the sports bar! There are a few tweaks that would make a big difference - the menu gets a bit boring after a few days - maybe do a daily 'chef's special' to mix it up a bit! The breaky buffet is delicious but not a piece of bacon to be found and the butter is unsalted which is a bit meh on the beautiful bread. Snacks like crisps, choc bars etc would be great to have available at the sports bar or a vending machine so you could take it back to your room.

We had a lovely couple of days at the Ramada. Nothing is too much trouble for all the lovely staff. They stored our luggage whilst we went to Tanna Island and we were so grateful that we didn’t have to leave it at the airport. Whilst we were there they had a fire dance show and a traditional dancing show. They were both very interesting and we enjoyed them. The Lagoon is closed to swimming, but you could use a hotel kayak and go for a paddle.

Lying by the pool on our last day of our holiday. Will be very sad to leave. This hotel is excellent. Love the buggy rides back and forth from reception, quick and easy. Room well appointed and cleaned daily. Didn't cook once in the kitchen, but adequate for those that want to. Breakfast good, lots to choose from. Staff are superb. Very friendly, happy and helpful. Special thanks to Lucie for being so much fun!! Car hire was cheap and we had fun driving around the island. Blue Lagoon and Erakor Island worth a day visit - beautiful. EI just a 5 min ferry ride away. Vanuatu is a very safe, happy and beautiful island.

Fantastic resort, close to the city centre, friendly staff (golf buggies to transport you to your room), big rooms & bathrooms, comfortable beds, thick curtains for sleep-ins, great views out to the water. Pool is well maintained and the gym is perfect for a small group. Thanks for looking after the cast & crew of adventure all stars. Ben is a bloody legend & an absolute gentleman

Very nice place to stay for a relaxing break away from busy roads, quiet, safe and secure. Good size rooms with full kitchen facilities and the best Vanuatu supermarket is nearby if you want a meal in for a change. No sea view, but a lovely lagoon view, that doesn't turn to mud flat at low tide. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Many of the rooms have stairs for access, so if you have access difficulties contact them first to ensure you get a room with easy access. Courtesy golf cart for transport is available around the resort as it is built on a hill with some incline walkways.

The Ramada was a great experience, rooms were spacious and clean, great views (lagoon suite), staff were helpful and friendly and while it was a steep walk to reception, the shuttle was fast and convenient. It was a quick 5 minute bus ride to port Vila and actually benefitted from being out of the middle of town. Breakfast was extensive and fresh with lots of choices available, in all, a great choice for accommodation at this price point.

Welcome to paradise! Everything about this place is amazing. The rooms are spacious, with cupboards and enough storage to put your suitcases away, the beds are large and comfortable and the views of the lake are breathtaking. The staff are friendly and helpful greeting you with a smile everywhere you go. The best part is the golf buggy’s which some quickly to take you from your room to reception. There is plenty of entertainment including a fire show that was incredible. The hotel staff can also help you organize your activities around the island too. There is an ATM in the lobby. We stayed 7 days and would absolutely stay again.

Oh my gosh! What a magnificent place. The staff, the locale, the food, everything is second to none. You don’t get this service in Australia! I will be back again. And again! Thank you for the perfect stay. The room was amazing! Best views

Enjoyed our 6 day stay at Ramada Resort. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Location is perfect - close enough to town but situated in a quiet area. Enjoyed the Thai massage and sunset cruise provided by the resort. Would recommend to family and friends.

I was blessed to stay at Ramada Port Villa with the Adventure All Stars cast and crew. We were so well looked after, the property is extremely comfortable, the staff were genuinely invested in us, the pool was the perfect temperature! I will come again! Thank you!

Pleasant recent stay at the Ramada Port Vila. Great location with easy access into town. Rooms are a generous size with all the amenities. Plenty of fun times at the Sports Bar during the Women's World Cup games. Terrific buffet breakfast with Janet's omelette's without a doubt the best in Vanuatu!!

Thank you so much to all the team at Ramada! Especially the restaurant staff - You are superstars, and made our experience at Ramada so great. We will miss you all dearly. The buggy boys for dropping us back and forth. Bob, you do a fantastic job in the pool area. And lastly, housekeeping - Our room was always serviced to perfection. I cannot find a fault with Ramada, my family thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our stay here!! The food was always amazing too. We can't wait to return. Tangkyu tumas, Lukim yu, Tata. My partner and I had the most perfect stay at Ramada Resort by Wyndham Port Villa. I genuinely couldn’t tell you one fault of this resort. The staff were amazing. So friendly and welcoming. We never passed a staff member without receiving such a warm, genuine greeting. I wasn’t expecting much from their food but I was so wrong! From breakfast, lunch and dinner it was amazinggg!! The breakfast was buffet style with so much to choose from and super fresh and tasty. We wanted to get out and explore the different restaurants in port villa but the dinner in Ramada was just so good! I wish I could mention the name of every member of staff that we met because everyone was so wonderful but the only name we got was our lovely waitress Lucie who we met most nights for dinner at the resort. The room, the balcony, the view, the pool it was all so amazing. The resort allowed guests to take out kayaks and other types of equipment for free. The rooms were located a couple hundred metres or maybe less, down a hill from reception but you could just ring reception for a buggy to collect you from your room! When we were leaving to go to the airport, it turned out that our taxi company had double booked. But before we could even begin to panic, the staff at Ramada loaded up our suitcases into one of their resort vehicles and brought us to the airport free of charge. I thought that it was just down to the locals of Vanuatu because the people in general are so lovely, helpful and welcoming. But we stayed at a different resort in the country and it didn’t compare to the Ramada. Overall, Ramada Resort blew our expectations out of the water. We will definitely be coming back to Vanuatu to explore other islands and will definitely be staying at the Ramada.

The Ramada in Port Vila is in a class of it's own. The amenities and staff are second-to-none. I recently spent a week at this fabulous resort and will definitely be returning. On behalf of our cast and crew at Adventure All Stars, thank you for such a memorable stay in Vanuatu.

Great hotel for family's or groups, good spot with great swimming pool and big rooms with views of the lagoon. Beds are super comfy and kitchenette in room was handy. Restaurant is ok, breakfasts are good. Free use of kayaks to explore the lagoon. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Doesn't have a free shuttle service to downtown but it's an easy walk to the main road where you can easily catch a mini bus anywhere in Port Vila for 150vt.($2AUD).

Staff was so friendly! Breakfast is great! Lagoon room has amazing view. We went to other hotel for dinner at the first night , and I think Ramada has better service and view. U can always ask reception to call taxi , and bus is everywhere . Reception helped us to book our day tour when we need it . everything is perfect.

My wife and I had an excellent stay at this hotel. It is very comfortable in the rooms, best bed I've slept on in ages. The staff were all lovely and very accommodating with our requests, providing an early check in option to us. The food and service at the bar and restaurant were great (Thanks Peter, Jerry and Jennefer). This is what a holiday should be. Great location by the water, comfortable rooms and great staff. Couldn't ask for more.

We were very happy during our stay. Clean rooms clean towels and bed. Staff is amazing. Micky the support staff, Mansen, Margaret they are amazing staff at breakfast. Even head chef Govinda specially came on our table and ask if we like food and cook pancakes for my daughter. Frederick from higher management met us every day during our stay and arranged our transfers. We have been to so many hotels and resorts around the world but can't found the hospitality Ramada offered. Good luck and thank you

Awesome breakfast buffet, staff are so helpful and friendly. Clean and spacious rooms with great views of the lagoon. Golf buggies for transportation from room to reception and vice versa, happy hour from 5 to 7 pm. Free non-motorised amenities. We are currently here for the long weekend and we are having the best time here. Very happy with our stay here. I highly recommend this resort to anyone! Great job Wyndham! 👏🏾

I cannot rate the staff and the room high enough. The staff were always happy and helpful and always had a big smile. The accommodation was excellent, very clean and must important to me a soft bed. My only complaint is the food, breakfast was very ordinary and dinner as well was not up to standard.

This is a new resort with excellent facilities fronting onto the lagoon and with a large swimming pool with swim up bar. The suites fronting the lagoon are fine but the rooms in the blocks behind are a distance from the facilities. They provide buggy service to get from your room to either reception or the beach front. The downside is that the restaurant has the worst food I have ever struck anywhere, let alone in what is supposed to be a five star resort, so if you are planning to stay there don't eat there, at least unless Ramada makes a complete change to their catering and gets a new chef.

We stayed here for 3 nights. Comfortable, clean and quiet room (in the 600 block and top floor, we read all the reviews to stay away from the bar due to noise!), beautiful view of the lagoon from the balcony, room had everything you’d need. The limited 500mb wifi is a bit of a joke (should be unlimited), but they gave us more for free which was really nice. Live music on Saturday night which was good but insanely loud! Friendly staff. Good pool, clean gym with all the basics, lots of sun loungers, free kayaks and paddle boards to use. Didn’t have breakfast here but ate some dinner. Was average. Very expensive food and cocktails. Lots of cheaper places around to eat and drink. Supermarket 5 mins walk, and the town about 15 mins walk. Or you can wave down a bus. Because the resort is “out of town” the buses are slightly more.

Great stay in Port Vila. Had booked as part of a package deal from flight center. Beautiful, modern junior suite with a great view from the balcony. Pool was good although a bit fresh this time of year. I would give 4.5 stars if i could. Restaurant a little too overpriced but that said, cost is in-line with other resort restaurants nearby. I think the location is great - not too close to town but far enough away for a nice stroll. Lagoon cruise that was included as part of the package was great and Bob, our captain, was knowledgeable and friendly. Also got a free massage which was good (noting tho that the cost of massages at Ramada are double or more than other places in town). I would recommend Ramada look to partner with local suppliers to obtain locally produced shampoos, soaps etc if possible. I would also recommend Ramada have a selection of locally produced products (e.g creams, chocolate, jewellery etc) on display and available for purchase in the main lobby area like some other hotels/resorts do (that said, I may have just missed it).

The room was beautiful and such a comfortable bed! The food is expensive and very poor in quality. Not much choice even the bar had a very limited tapas menu. Such a shame as so much potential if decent food choices were available. Most people left the resort to find food elsewhere. Could do with better service around the pool area also. Potential to sell more food and drink if choices were available. Some staff were very motivated, the rest were super friendly but just require a little more training, but not their fault. I would stay again if there were better food options but if that doesn't change there are plenty of over places to go.
