Great location - away from the city centre, but close enough to get a bus for 150 Vatu. Three restaurants very close by and a couple of small shops for food. Rooms had everything we needed. Relatively clean - dishes needed a good wash before using. Great pool area - well maintained. Beach access was good too. Only recommendation would be some more proactive room cleaning - replacing used towels when taking them away, topping up body wash etc.

My husband, son and myself stayed at Nasama Resort for 9 days, which we all thoroughly enjoyed. The staff in CafeVila were excellent. Very handy to have a pool and also the sea to swim in, so easy to catch a bus into Port Vila. Thank you for a very relaxing holiday.

Great place for a holiday where you can relax and unwind, but not far from town when you want to go shopping. The only downside was the restaurant not being open on Mondays and also not open for lunch. On Monday it would have been great to have been able to grab some drinks throughout the day, but it wasn't an option.

Comfortable rooms in a very pleasant modern resort complex. Great pool and ocean access, with kayaks readily available. The restaurant provides good meals to make the stay more relaxing and enjoyable.

This is not a resort, this is a motel. Most things about this accommodations are average (rooms, pool), except for the service that is very poor. We were 3 and they only gave us 2 towels, no matter how many times we asked for an extra towels, it never happened. The restaurant and the accommodation run separately, so the bills are a total disaster, especially as the credit card payment was down. Even when they had my credit card details, they made us go to an ATM to get cash. The last day they didn’t make our room and implied that it was our fault because we locked the door as there was only one set of keys. Also, The internet was down in a few occasions. The only good thing was the service in the restaurant, the staff at the restaurant are super helpful, but as I said they run separate to the accommodation

Stayed here for a week in August. Was great. It's a small resort, so they staff get to know you a little. You need to put yourself out there. Introduce yourself to the staff, they are very friendly. It rained for a couple of days when we were there, but I was on holidays so didn't worry me. We went with a three kids and they had a ball. There's a BBQ that someone cleans everyday, so you can get meat at the supermarket and cook it up - beef is cheap. The pool is great, but can be a bit cold - just jump in! The reef is great to walk along and look for crabs and fish etc. It's a short trip in a bus to Vila, and even shorter to the supermarket. There's plenty of transport, so you can easily get around. The bar is great, 2 for 1 cocktails Thursday and Thursdays! Will does a great cocktail, and will change the TVs if you ask him, I did to see a St Kilda football match and he did - we lost. I think we'll be back.

Nasama is located in a very convenient location, a few minutes distance to all of Port Vila’s tourist attractions and town square. They have an amazing infinity pool that stares directly at the ocean. Nasama’s restaurant cooks simply amazing steaks and meats but be mindful of their seafood options as my friend got a stomach bug because of it. However, they tended to us very courteously after the incident and even gave us medicine from the doctor so I felt they handled the situation very well. I would recommend Nasama for families and people who wants to do many activities in town.

Very happy with our accommodation. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and close to everything. Our room is self contained had own fridge, microwave stove, internet ok, (just buy a local sim, or you can rent local mobile phone from office). Has a good security and shared laundry. We had a very good view of sunrise from our balcony. Pool is great. I recommend the spa and facial. You can catch bus (local transport) front of resort

Really enjoyed our stay at Nasama. A hands off resort with two eateries - one being the excellent Cafe Villa. We stayed in a two bed room apartment towards the back of the resort on the ground floor (302) . The apartment was clean and reasonably well appointed including a full sized fridge. Wifi is a little sketchy at times but it’s free - good mobile range on the pool deck and toward the water. . Beds were comfortable and clean. The pool is essential as the water frontage is more a snorkelling venue versus a beach and is south easterly facing meaning it does get the trade winds face on at times. This will not bother you if you are travelling from a colder climate such as NZ or southern Australia as there are plenty of places to get out of the wind if an issue. Access to Port Villa is easy via the ‘B’ vans frequently cruising up and down the road. There is usually a van or two parked waiting to negotiate private tours etc - Parko and the Glens are great guys, we found them honest and genuine when utilising their services. As mentioned in the Cafe Villa review, the staff are what make this resort, though not competing to be a full service facility, there is enough staff members around should you need anything and everyone was so friendly and respectful.

If you are seeking a wind down, chill out, easy, friendly, helpful, clean and relaxing holiday destination then this is it. Nasama isn't a pumping holiday place, it's a family friendly, low key, chilled out resort. Excellent food options between Three Pigs and Cafe Vila managed by the amazing Anna, the food is fresh and fulfilling and if high quality. Cocktails at the bar in the evening, take a beer by the pool, or snorkel in ocean pool. All amazing. You can organize your tours at the front desk, must see is Blue Lagoon, Rantapao River, Rarru Falls, Tanna Coffee and the Chocolate factory. Recommend Holidaymakers tours, ask for Eileen. Rooms at Nasama are well appointed, cleaned regularly, comfortable and self contained, some days we just madea sandwich with items from the little store across the road. Awesome baguettes. Watch The hermit crabs at night, sit by the ocean, relax. It's here.

WOW!! Don't have any complaints! Absolutely loved our stay while in Vanuatu, thank you to the lovely accommodating staff. We have a 1 year old Kenzie who will miss the smiling friendly faces when we head back to NZ. The rooms are very spacious, the staff made sure we had everything we needed for our young one and went above & beyond. Great & reasonable baby sitting service available which we took advantage of for a few days for sure! All cooking amenities you could need to cook & help keep costs down if you wanted - AMAZING! Rare to get that these days. Beautiful well kept grounds. Had a massage - BEST MASSAGE I'VE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE! Just amazing, we will be back. Pool & beach a hop, skip & a jump. Location didn't bother us - bus was super easy to catch so didn't miss out. Thank you sooooo much team 😎

Beautiful beautiful beautiful people!!! Big comfortable rooms, amazing pool, quiet at night, buses easy to catch, everything you need. The small ocean pool in the reef directly out front is as good snorkelling as anywhere else on the island 😃 Their French toast for breakfast is the best! Loved this place 😍😍

We just got back from staying at Nasama Resort for 9 nights. The location of Nasama Resort is pretty gd, not to far from Port Vila & other tourist locations around the island. Most tourist spots were about 30-40 mins (depending on traffic) from the resort. The staff were able to accommodate everything that we requested before & during the trip, they also organised transport from the airport to the resort for us without it being requested. We spent a few whole days just at the resort either in the pool or at the private beach they have as part of the resort as well as having a massage in the hut they have down by the waterfront. We had a beachfront apartment which was very spacious & comfortable while also having great sea views.

I thoroughly enjoyed the warm and welcoming treatment we received as local visitors during our pool visit. The highlight was the opportunity to utilize the barbecue for a delightful cookout with our own food. The only minor inconvenience was the separate restroom facilities, but it's worth noting that this visit took place during the challenging times of COVID. I look forward to returning and potentially updating this review in the future.

Stayed for 2 nights in a one bedroom room. Nice big rooms with medium comfort beds and pillows, mainly nice and clean, set in a spectacular spot with beautiful ocean pool. Decent kitchen facilities inc hot plate, microwave and decent size Fridge. Hot water was hit and miss with a couple of cold showers…had a leaky tap which wasn’t great for sleeping as well as a fairly noisy aircon. Food was hit and miss with some delicious fish and ok steak. Tacos had tasty filling but the wraps used were often inedible as they were stale or overcooked. Coffee was decent one day and a little subpar the next. Well priced drinks and very pleasant staff albeit they largely run on island time. Overall a beautiful spot to stay with some of the ‘local charm’ that differentiates it from western standards.

Easy to get to from Port Vila, has small beach which accessible at high and low tides. 2 very good restaurants on property, 2 minutes walk to small store. Clean and well maintained territory, friendly staff.

Beautiful place, beautiful people .Our beach front room was lovely, kitchen well equipped ,the view was awesome .The food in the restaurant was very good. But it was the staff that made our trip so special, thank you Elizabeth, Mona & Melody, look forward to coming back to see you all again, Donna & Brent.

We stayed in an upstairs room directly facing the ocean and had an enjoyable experience. I would recommend a similar room if you would like a more quiet stay, with an ocean view. The rooms facing the pool may be noisy. The rooms were a bit dated but spacious and the kitchen has everything you need. I left a bag in the room upon check out, when I called, one of the staff drove and brought it to me at the airport, that was very much appreciated.

Just got back from a 7 night stay at Nasama Resort. All we could say is ... wow. Our room with ocean views and a minute walk to two great restaurants, Cafe Vila and Three Pigs. Staff were friendly, and rooms were cleaned every day. A quick 5 minute bus ride to town was soooooo easy (about $3 for two people). HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE FOR YOUR NEXT VANUATU VISIT.

Thanks again for a great holiday. We love staying at the Nasama. All of the staff are amazing people and so happy. 🥰🥰 The breakfast that was included was so so tasty and the staff again were so lovely, especially Elizabeth, Anna and Sarah at the Restaurant. We didn't want to leave and got really upset when our holiday came to an end. Great place to stay, we will be back again. Thank you Nasama.

Lovely, spacious, comfortable apartments overlooking Erakor Lagoon with a reef and plenty of fish around. Beautiful horizon pool and smaller children's pool. We (two couples) ate a couple of times at the restaurant, and the food was good. We also used the BBQ area. Staff were friendly. It's a little way out of town, but you can catch a local bus into Port Vila for a small fare.

Loved our stay at Nasama! We had a 2 bedroom unit which was HUGE and great for a family of 4. Fully self contained, washing machine which was AWESOME after being in other resorts in Port Vila/Tanna for 10 days previously. There wasn’t any washing powder in our room and asked 3 times for some, but still ended up having to buy our own at the local supermarket. Too far out from Port Vila to walk, but buses are always available so wasn’t an issue! Pool was fabulous - our toddler loved the kiddy pool and our bigger boy loved the normal pool. Beach is also great! Highly recommend!

We booked to stay at Nasama from the 16th to 20th April 2020. Due to Coronavirus we were unable to travel and our holiday was cancelled. Nasama initially said they would refund our accommodation. They then changed their mind and offered us a credit voucher that was valid for one year, essentially useless. Their poor and confusing communication has meant we have been unable to claim the accommodation on our travel insurance. We booked directly though the resort and you'd think this would give you benefits, but apparently it does not. Essentially, they have taken our money for a useless credit voucher. They were the only accommodation from our 2-week trip that did not refund. This was supposed to be special stay in a luxury resort, the highlight of our trip to celebrate my birthday. In reality it has led to emails every 2 weeks for clarification on their stance for a refund or no-refund. This is not the customer service you expect from a luxury resort. When borders open up and you can travel to Vanuatu again. If you are considering Nasma resort I would do so with caution based on our experience. If something goes wrong you could, like us, end up paying a lot of money for nothing.

Came here in November with my partner. Hotel was great, swimming pool, outdoor gym and snorkeling gear (at a price) available. Staff were polite and helpful. The room was great, ours was on the beach. Downside was after a few days my partner found the waves crashing on the shore day and night a bit fool on as it was quite loud,so if your the same recommend staying inland. Overall recommend staying here.

Although the rooms are self contained there is some water damage. Plus the reception can be really helpful when you ask questions but they seem to get the info mixed up. We nearly paid too much and missed our outings because of them. There are no clean towels by the pool. It's quiet far from the town centre. However the scenery and the facilities look really nice :)

This resort is very nice. We stayed 6 nights and had a wonderful stay in Vanuatu. The good : the unit comes with a complete kitchen including a stove, fridge, microwave, pots and pans, dinnerware, and a few other things. The queen bed was very comfortable. The tv comes with 6 channels. The restaurant food was good (Tuesday and Thursday had 2-1 happy hour drinks.) It is easy to catch a bus to go to town. You have a view of the ocean from the patio. The beach is nice. There is a little swimming hole right in front of the beach access (as you can see in the resorts stock photos) that is very comfortable to swim in. The snorkeling is very good. I love to snorkel to see the colorful fish, and this place had plenty. To get to the good snorkeling, you have to be able to get passed the reef shelf that makes the swimming hole. This can only be done at high tide (and even at high tide, the reef will be about 8 inches from your body as you swim over it.) But, once you pass it, the ocean opens up. Notable things that we felt would have made our stay even better were: There is no hot tub, the pool is cold, and there was a big tree obstructing our view from the balcony.

We returned from staying 6 nights. The place was clean and well appointed. AC worked well and the balcony was perfect. We could see the kids in the pool but didn't have to be at the pool the whole time. Perfect for families. Staff were great and always helpful. The shop across the road and down the road had fresh bread every day. 2/1 cocktails were great! The resort was far enough out of town that it was not too busy but close enough to head in. To be honest the main town didn't have that much to do anyway. the resort made the holiday not the main town. The beach and pool was exactly as described in the pics and website. We would stay again for sure! Well Done Staff!
