This place is beautiful with lots of coral and shells on the beach. Lelife is better than a commercial resort as the people who work there are all from the same village and the place feels like a village. Make sure you pack thongs or reef shoes.

We loved Le Life resort! We spent 3 nights there. Would of loved to have stayed longer! All the staff were so friendly and helpful. It was my birthday while we were there and they made it extra special! Jacques was an excellent host. We were also upgraded to the "Honey moon suite" as they required our room for another family as our room had more beds. Both rooms were very big with fantastic facilities. Beds in both rooms were very comfortable but the bed in the room we were upgraded to had a beautiful white canopy over it which made it extra special. The views of the beach and the islands from our rooms were stunning. The food at le life resort was also fairly priced and delicious. We also thoroughly enjoyed going kayaking up the Epule River to see beautiful cascades. Beginners would manage this easily. We also went swimming and climbing over rocks once we reached the cascades. Highly recommend having reef shoes as some of the rocks were quite sharp. We also went snorkelling in Saama at Top Rock which was about a 15 minute drive away. The staff have snorkelling gear they can provide you with and also can take you there for a reasonable and fair price. The spot for snorkelling was breathtaking and well worth the views on top of the rock as well as seeing lots of beautiful coloured fish, coral and other sea creatures. On the way back we went to the volcanic Hot Springs and went in a mud pit which was a fun and different experience also. We also went kava bar hopping in Epule with some of the locals one night which was a highlight of our stay! Highly recommend Le Life resort if visiting Efate!

We didn’t stay overnight but had a very nice lunch there. Definitely worth the short detour from the ring road for a break.

Beautiful place with lovely sea breeze. Private and great for a romantic getaway. Owners treat you like old friends and the staff are extra friendly and helpful. We stayed for a week and had the best time. We will definitely be back.

Recently we drove for lunch from Port Villa to Le Life upon recommendation. While the coral lined beach is really gorgeous we were disappointed with our experience. The smoothie had no flavour and the fish & chips, overcooked, very dry and not fresh. In fact the chips were rather dehydrated- texture of cardboard. In addition, we had a dog hovering waiting to be fed at our table (returned numerous times) and a cat that had climbed onto the chair refusing move. The bathrooms had no amenities, soap or napkins and toilet clogged. We had a lovely swim , thank goodness nature offered a respite.

A great place to stop for lunch, drinks or a snack on your day trip around the island. Or spend the day relaxing beside the water, enjoy a swim or a kayak. Plenty of options to stay the night or even longer. The bungalows are comfortable and great spot for a family.
