An excellent cave with a huge entrance which is very nice, beautiful and exciting to spend a day in it walking and jogging. The cave is said to be home for many bats, but we didn't see any. The routes inside the cave are almost difficult to pass and you need to be a team to safely hike inside the cave. Also it is almost the same temperature inside the cave during the year which means being cold in summer and being warm in winter.

Incredible! Is there anything more fascinating than this natural phenomenon inside the Tehran border? I don't know... maybe... Make sure to visit this particular cave. you will also find a great number of bats in the end.

awesome but very dangerous and difficult. you need equipment and should be a group. there is no light whatsoever and the ground becomes very slippery.

The Beautiful Rood-Afshan cave is suitable for day trip, from Tehran. The Great and glorious entrance of Rood-Afshan is an important trait which is about 40 meters long and 12 meters high. There are a lot pigeons at the cave entrance and a few bat at the end of it. The main rout of the cave is a one to two hours trip which is about 800 meters. Internal weather temperature is constant in four seasons, and it is the best reason for visiting it all year long.

Very nice place. In order to have a better experience you should bring special equipment for exploring cave like head light, etc.

Great place to explore guys, perfect weather & sightseeing. Inside the cave is filled with sulfur smelling so be careful if you have breathing problems. By the way the environment is completely dark, be sure to carry headlamps for better vision.
