The first thing that struck me about this place was the stunning surroundings. This is located in a serene and tranquil location near Chotanikarai Amman Temple, with beautiful scenery all around. The architecture of the homestay was traditional yet modern, which gave it a very unique experience. The rooms were simply delightful. They were spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated with traditional furnishings that perfectly complemented the overall look and feel of the place. The bedding was luxurious and comfortable, and I had some of the best sleep I've had in a long time. One of the highlights here was their home-made organic herbal tea that was served to their guests every evening. It was made with fresh ingredients from their garden, and it was simply divine! I found myself looking forward to it every day, and it was the perfect way to start. Overall, the hosts were fantastic, the accommodation was top-notch, and the surroundings were simply breathtaking. If you're looking for an authentic and unforgettable experience, this is the place to be. I can confidently say that this is one of the best home stays out there, and I cannot wait to come back and visit again soon.

Ambady Inn is an amazing home stay in Chottanikara. It is located very close to the temple and has spacious rooms with good facilities. Mr Biju runs it along with wife and the couple are extremely warm and kind. They served us excellent home-cooked Kerala style food and we are very thankful to them for making our stay in chottanikara a memorable experience. Room and food are fairly priced, definitely worth it.

I booked the place after reading reviews online. This homestay is very close to the temple (walkable) and is run by a wonderful family. We had to offer bananas and jaggery to the Devi. Since this was the first time we were offering something in Chottanikara ( we have prayed here before too but never offered anything), we were not sure what to do. Mr. Biju Vishwanath (owner of the homestay) helped us on how to go about it and also helped us with planning the next day's darshan by telling us when exactly we can see different forms of Devi. We had food at the homestay itself. My parents are older and prefer home cooked food when compared to restaurants so we welcomed the food at the homestay with delight. It's a homely experience. Nothing fancy. Clean rooms and sheets. Hot water. Good food. I really liked it.

Very friendly & co-operative Biju chettan & family owns this property!! Chottanikkara Devi temple is literally next compound!! It will take hardly 1 minute to temple!! We were on our way to Sabarimala and we stayed here for one night!! A very big house with spacious rooms and very neat & clean bathrooms!! Owner is very much down to earth and polite person who is ready to help us in all possible ways!! Will definitely recommend to my friends & will surely stay there only when ever visiting Chottanikkara Amma temple!!

It was a great stay and the food served was very hot and tasty. Rooms were neat and clean. Biju uncle even talked to our driver about the route to 3 other temples on our way to alappey. He also suggested us to leave at 6 am to cover the 3 temples which we planned before 12pm and that was really helpful.

Walkable distance. Thirupunithura is also at proximity. One best place for stay at Chotanikara. I also associate good luck with this place. Positive vibes of the family must be. We stayed in Ambady Inn from 12th to 14th August'23. The property is located very close to Chottanikkara Bhagavathi Temple and it's only a few minutes walk from this homestay. It has got very spacious & well maintained rooms. Mr. Biju & family was very courteous and we, especially my parents, were kept very comfortable during the stay. The icing on the cake was the homely Kerala food we had from them. We ate both dinner & breakfast and it was just awesome !! and tasted the same like our home cooked food. I thank Mr. Biju & family for the warm hospitality they extended during our stay. I strongly recommend this property for a 'home away from home' feeling during your trip to Ernakulam/Tripunithura.

Had a lovely stay at Ambady Inn thanks to Mr. Biju and his wife. The room was clean, spacious and well kept. Mr Biju and his wife Dipti were very accommodating and helpful. They helped us in arranging hotel pickup / dropoff and outstation travel as well. The house is located barely 2 minutes walk frm Chottanikara temple. Mrs Dipti provides the most amazing food, those who book should definitely include meals in their reservation. The warmth and love shared by the couple makes you feel like you are home. I check in yesterday night 10pm night the owner was so helpful . Because we called him for asking many doubts from 7pm . He was waiting for as still we reach there and the room and the washroom was very hygenic . We take 2 room the rate was 3000 I am satisfied with the price ... Who is planning to go to chottanikkara temple I am sure that you can stay here ...in that house 8 room was there ... It was the best hotel I seen near chottanikkara temple

Hi!!I had been to chottanikkara temple last Friday, that's when I stayed I stayed at Amabadi Homestay chottanikkara . I must say it is the best you can opt for in the locality. Neat rooms, pleasant hosts,homely food and all the more just few steps from the temple. Mr.Biju the host is very kind and is always there for any help needed. A good place to live in near the temple. Wonderful service. Pathway from this place to temple is a different experience. Good and hygiene food. Awesome people
