Best place to have authentic Maharashtra food. Must try chicken bhakri. Owner is very kind and hospitable. Ambience is awesome. Art is everywhere.

What a fantastic little cafe in Karjat. A visit to this cafe is an experience in itself. We stopped for breakfast on a Sunday morning and found it empty, which allowed us to explore every facet of the cafe. The dishes were freshly made, the ambience homely and wonderful, the art shop and articles gave such character to every moment spent here. A must stop for anyone driving by.

We were planning for lunch and after reading few reviews we decided to visit Art Cafe Roots -Karjat. We reached the place at 2:30 for lunch (Pitla, Baingan Masala, Masala Rice, Shrikand) the order was ready only at 3:50 after repeated reminders. There were other customers who were waiting for their food like us for more than an hour. For a simple beverage like Kokam Sharbat also took 25 minutes to prepare. The management should clearly inform the customers about waiting time if it is more then 30mins. Also please check the bill break up carefully before making the payments. Coming to the food it was very very average on tase nothing outstanding.

Art Cafe Karjat is a wonderful place to take a pit stop and snack on some wide variety of Veg and Non Veg Maharashtrian dishes. All the dishes were prepared fresh and tasted as if we are eating home cooked fresh and hot food. The owner Rupali is a wonderful person to talk to and she gives some wonderful suggestions about the menu. The ambience is subtle and relaxed and you end up spending more time at the cafe. One suggestion - Please work on improving the wait time of the guests and add a few more service staff boys.

It's totally a art cafe, good to see different types of arts. Tried food but not a worth as of me. Will not try again.

This place is beautifully created by work Arts, unique antique collection, traditional doors and windows. I loved the way they have detailed everything like the write ups on doors,tree , just loved it. Food taste is superb, authentic and served with love. Must to visit if you are in karjat.

We were in love with this place and specially with it's owners. She and her husband are creative beyond words. I mean they have created a Cafe and Art House which I would dream I had created, or as a matter of fact so many could have. The colours, the vibes, the antiques at this place just makes you think that such kind of cafes are available all over. But again that's the beauty that you don't find such hidden gems all over. They have limited food options which is off course understandable as there are not many people visiting this area of Karjat over weekdays, this place would be full on weekends. We hope that many people start visiting this place even on weekdays. Their Thalipeet, Onion pakodas, Maggi, Cheese Roti , Tea , and a few more snacks options are just woooowwww.. We took confidence in the owner and even got our dinners packed from this place for couple of nights & we wished we could take their Chef home. Their chicken dishes were so amazing along with Bhakari's & Chappati's , I mean we would be surely visiting this place many more times.

Whenever I visited karjat for small weekend trips.. This place always grabbed my attention passing by.. Finally got a chance to visit with family.. The Ambiance is awesome, every single piece of furniture and the corner of this place is so arresting.. They also have an exhibition cm sale studio there. Comes to food they serve fresh cooked food prepared by the locals "not the professional" thus it tastes very authentic. Veg & nonveg both had the taste of like ur grandma cooked it.. We were a group of 15-16 ppl and yes they are not prepared for such a big group. Even in other reviews it's mentioned that they delay a lot.. But the key reason is they serve fresh and like home cooked meals. No restaurant style precooked the same gravy.. So if you visit there keep this in ur mind that Food taste extremely authentic but it's Secondary ART is their first love. So appreciate the nature efforts and the beauty of the place.. The owner is extremely humble and explained to us abt the place and the reason behind the delay which makes sense to me. We were all happy. I highly recommend 👍👍
