I had heard about this place... I visited it today...it was one of the best dinning experience... The cleanliness at this place is Godly and unmatched... You get greeted when you enter with folded hands.. the food quality is simply awesome with good authentic taste... Onion garlic is not there but you won't miss it....The service is very hospitable.. the food here is rightly called Prasad..because after having it you are fulfilled no only by stomach but by your mann/heart❤️.. the price for 1 plate unlimited thali is 300 rupees and it's giving very good food and experience in return.. the atmosphere is very pure and peaceful with design and photos of lord Krishna🙏

Had a great experience here! Great temple like ambiance will give you devine experience. Rajwadi kind of sitting arrangements will give you feel of a Royal treatment. More than 17 varieties (no onion, no garlic) you will get in thali. 4 sabji, Dal, Kadhi, Aam Ras, 2 Farsan, 1 sweet, chatny, Pickle, papad, chhash, Rice & Khichdi, Puri & Roti for Rs.300/- per person. Service staff is very well trained and polite. They all were in Indian traditional attire. Very frequently they will come to you, ask you & will serve you what you need. One very unique thing i observed there is, staff were talking to each other in code words. Suppose person came to you to serve you a roti and you asked for Aam ras. He will snap and give signal with a fingers to his fellow serving staff & within no time without uttering a singal word, person will come with Aam ras to serve you. So overall it was a great experience!! It is a must visit place.

The food is tasty and the whole theme of Lord Krishna in which the restaurant is set is very blissful. The restaurant management and service staff are very polite towards the customers. Overall was a great experience to have food here.

Good Jain gujrati thali. If you want to taste a core gujrati thali and like gujrati food then must go. For spice lovers who think it will have some spice atleast, be warned it does not. Other than that a good place

Very authentic gujarati thali ,no onion no garlic ,you will not regret about this missing items ,2 nos hot snacks always served with 2 nos sweet items.onr liquid and 1 solid sweet served with 4 varieties of subjects. Very good place for the vegetarian food and in the time of janmashtami there is Special food for fasting and the food is very good.The special way of treating the food and serving the food is so good the special sabhu dhana ki wada, the cleanliness and hygiene in the restaurant is next level and the serving style is so good.the seating arrangement is very nice and can accommodate huge no of people at a time. One special is that sitting arrangement is very traditional way and looks like you are staying in maharajas mahal.

This is how they pack food if order online,as if giving to some poor people in polythene Gave wrong sabji potato instead of bhindi, didn't even bother to inform me, do not ever order online, also when u go for dine in they keep u waiting for half hour on the dining table to serve food, half of the restaurant was empty still we had to wait for food, they served others but not us, and the management lady then came and told the people to serve, till then nobody bothered. And everytime we just waited when they will come to serve us. Big no from me. Edited P.s i didn't came on Sunday for dine in And I was not waiting for table, please read my review properly, I was waiting for food when I was already seated since half hour. though the restaurant was half empty but they were still not serving us, they just skipped our table, and served randomly and were least bothered,and all time we just had shout and call at the table, but still I didn't write any review but as I faced again for delivery inhave to write now, your menu only mentioned bhindi masala so I selected, if you don't have that don't keep in that menu, or should have courtesy to atleast ask me will potato do or not. as other restaurants do call if they don't have any item, because some people might not eat as per your choice.and also see the pathetic packing as if it is given from some road side bhandara. Instead of defending wrongly, try to improve things.

A Gujarati food restaurant with marwadi touch! Restaurant is located in temple complex which gives a different vibes. Hall is big and appropriate for big gatherings. Food is less spicy. Cost per thali is bit more compare to other Gujarati food restaurants .

Had one of my best lunches today at Govinda’s. Am a visitor to Baroda from Kochi and wanted to explore the culture and food of this unique city. Am stunned on many aspects of the restaurant and to name a few- awesome and very tasty food, not only the variety but also the potion and taste was awesome, to say the least. Am equally astonished on the neatness and ambience, which includes the murals which depicts interesting anecdotes of Krishna Leela which are displayed colourfully with depth. All these at a very reasonable and friendly price is the pinnacle of the surprise from this amazing restaurant, Govinda’s at Baroda. Am sharing this for the benefit of fellow visitors like me so that they don’t miss the excellent food and the ambience. Good food , nice ambience, pocket friendly pricing and overall a great experience which i cherished 👍 if some one is craving to have a good gujarathi thali wanting to enjoy outside food , yet homely purely veg , with less of oil , freshly made stuff , no onion , no garlic stuff , not much of masala yet tasting out of the world , it is Govindas restaurant.

Folks, please do not go to this place. We were completely misguided by the google reviews and went to this restaurant after coming from Canada and left with a completely worst experience in our lifetime. 1. The food was cold and tasteless. 2. No variety and a very high price compared to other similar Thali offering places in vadodara. 3. They make you pay before you start eating so you have no option to complain or even look at the menu. Which itself is a warning. 4. Flies and somewhat unclean. There was a dead fly on our table when we sat down. 5. Some of the items were not offered again which defeats the essence of unlimited Thali. 6. After all these, they hide behind serving fresh and all that but really no value for your hard earned money. So again, do not go here and all these reviews are fake and not true.

We visited this place on Wednesday (31st May 2023). The food here is of excellent quality. The staff is very courteous. The food is without onion and garlic and really tastes delicious. It is far better than any other commercial restaurant in Baroda. I would recommend going to this place without any hesitation. Just one request that don’t waste food.

Very nice food and pleasant ambiance.. the menu is full of variety which suits almost all of the guests - there’s at least one subzi for everyone which they prefer out of four/five options plus Kadhi and Dal.. overall everyone was satisfied (overate to be precise😉)

We went on rakhi day First thing made me upset that thali system having buffet arrangements, Food is like homemade food taste wise very nice If anyone preferring to have thali for change its not perfect option Not so cleaned, so many mosquitoes in corner areas, Cleaning wise 3 star max from my end.
