Cozy little place for a quick and relaxing bite. The owner is very friendly and welcoming. He even made a customized porc sandwich based on my request, added tomatoes and cucumbers not in the traditional menu. The pork meat is slow roasted and very delicious. The price for both the sandwich and the soft drinks are very reasonable

This is a loveley sandwich shop. They were very welcoming and took the time to describe their menue to a first timer like me. I went with the suggested Traditional Roman Porchetta Sandwich and I was not let down. It was amazing. The bread was fresh and the porchetta was savory and luscious. Recommended stop not far from Vatican City.

The best place that we have eat in Rome! No jokes. For 40 euros we’ve got 2 big paninis, caprese, pasta with meat, plate with prosciutto, beer and the owner gave us a free water bottles as a present. All locals recommended us this place for the pest panini con porcetta. We’ve been in good restaurants in Rome but this place was the best 👍🏻

Such a lovely owner! We enjoyed his freshly made porchetta of the day. I'm so glad he was cool with me customising my own order. I was a little tired of all the bread in Italy, so I requested for the grilled vegetable panini in salad form, and added his porchetta – best decision!

Very good sandwiches. We had 2 sandwiches - 1 vegetarian and 1 with mortadella. Additionally, we got a lentil dish served on house since this seems to be the traditional dish to be served on new year's day. Totally recommended!

Me and my partner visited Rome in November 2022. We cannot get this place out of our head! The most tasty sandwiches we have ever had, nothing else has compared! We sat outside and had a good conversation with the owners friend, both of them were so kind to us!

I had my dinner at this place. I had the chicken salami panini and one veg one. The price to quantity ratio was great . They have outdoor sitting as well. The lady was very helpful to explain the menu and we had very good conversation with her. I will definitely recommend this place . Namaste from India 🇮🇳!!!!

Mario is the go to guy. Good coffees and salad and lasagne. Value for Euro. Got a free new year's stewed lentil. Yummy

The owner was very pleasant, but the traditional italian porchetta panino he recommended was unfortunatelly very dry and hard to chew, even though the meat itself was tasty. Also, the ambient left a lot to be desired. The coffee was good.

Such a wonderful lunch here. Perfect and affordable sandwiches. I assumed it would be hard to get a cheap lunch near the Vatican but this was exactly that! Super tasty and only about €6 per sandwich. Also very friendly service!!

Went because of the reviews and was disappointed with the sandwich I took. The bread was kinda hard to chew, and the muchrooms were cold and not very tasty. Still, it's affordable and the owner is a very nice person.

This was the best porchetta sandwich I had while in Rome ! Just good bread and meat, lightly toasted, but with such good quality, juicy and tender pork you really don’t need anything else. The owner was so lovely and charming which was just the cherry on top ! I highly recommend.

Very friendly owner he showed us the pork and gave my brother lasagna because we were talking about how much he likes lasagna. Super friendly and the lord of the castle sandwich is amazing. 10/10 would eat here again if I wasn’t visiting and I lived here haha.

Last September, I visited this little sandwich place, because it seems to have one of the best sandwiches with porchetta di ariccia. I do not know if it is the best in Rome, but it sure is tasty! Absolutely recommend this place. Meat is tender and bread is crispy, jus the way I like it. Host is also very friendly.

This restaurant was so great. The food was fantastic. The owner brought us out some mussels just out of the kindness of his heart. I would give him 6 stars if I could.

Originally went in just to grab a quick breakfast before our Vatican tour, but this panini ended up being the highlight of our trip. The crispy porchetta in that slightly toasted ciabatta was just so delicious!! I absolutely recommend, and the owner is so nice as well:)

One of the best street meals you will have in Rome. This place is tucked in a side street next to construction. If you don’t pay attention, you can easily walk by without knowing. The owner Mario is super friendly and takes his time to explain what his best dishes are. The traditional pork sandwich is A MUST. Crunchy bread with pork cooked for 24 hours, the crispy pork skin is a nice surprise on certain bites. The taste combo with the arugula creates a perfect balance on a simple sandwich. I liked the pork so much that I asked the owner to cut me a piece. He served it to me on a plate. OMG, amazingly delicious. The fat flavor melts in your mouth with the lean pork is out of this world. Must try. And btw, did I mention the price? It’s 6.50 for most things. It’s amazing. Definitely come here for a bite after your Vatican City and museum visit. You won’t be sorry.

The sandwiches are delicious, especially the porchetta sandwich is a must try! The owner was really friendly (like our own grandpa) and offered to make us his homemade lasagna! He treated us to free drinks and even gave us student discounts. Would 10/10 recommend!
