The property is nice, however the cleanliness was poor and lack of staffs made the whole experience not so good. The property is not maintained properly.We had to request for all the basic needs and that too multiple times. Water ran out couple of times and we had to request them to pump the water in between our stay. The complimentary breakfast doesn’t have much options. We can pick 2 varieties and they would serve it at the resort. Overall the resort is spacious but it can be improved to a larger extent to get the required experience for the visitors. I am giving 2 stars for the property !

I stayed at this property with my extended family. It is a very spacious place. It has mutiple 1 BHK and 2 BHK villa options. This place is surrounded by greenery. You walk into the woods and relax yourself. Its proximity to the lake(around 2 kms) is a big plus. But the biggest plus is their hospitality. The folks who run this place, Mr. Karthik and Mr.Raja are very friendly, courteous and helpful. The complimentary vegetarian breakfast provided is just awesome. You can indicate your preference of your next day's breakfast like Idly, Vada, Dosa or Pongal and tataastu, it would be delivered in a casserole promptly the next day morning. On the day of our departure, we requested some vadas to be packed before we left at 7am. It was promptly prepared, packed and provided to us. The quality of idly, vada and dosa is exceptional. A big thanks to Mr.Raja for serving excellent home made food. On one day during our stay, we went around the market and bought some vegetables and requested them to prepare subzi with that. It was indeed prepared for that day's dinner. There is a great "feel at home" feeling here. Apart from Mr.Raja and Mr.Karthik, Mr.Praveen, who takes care of all the cottages needs a mention. He is a young chap whose hospitality is simply amazing. He picked up our calls everytime and promptly rendered services like bringing breakfast or dinner on time and others. The cab drivers who were engaged for our daily sight seeing, Mr.Satish and Mr.Aravind were very knowledgeable and friendly. On the whole, I would rate 5 star.

The stay was soo good and close to most of the places, staff was so helpful and the view from the room is worth the visit, we had taken cab services from them to visit all the tourist places, the driver anna and staff of maha eco stay made sure we could visit all the places and took care of us. Would recommend it for sure.

The bathroom stink a lot. The rooms were spacious but there's no view. The entrance to property is flooded with gutter water and trash thrown away. You can't walk to the gates The rooms are damp because of which you will never feel comfortable. The property is not well maintained and thus you should look for better option

Superb location/ manager was extremely helpful/Mr Raja and Praveen were always there to help. Above all it is a pet friendly property. Keep it up guys.

Last week, I came along with my family. The stay was awesome. Food was delicious and even my children enjoyed it very much. The customer service was very professional and superb, and all of our queries were attended immediately. We have planned to come again to this place next year since this trip was unforgettable.

Overall we had a great stay here and our co-ordinator Mr.Raja was very friendly.

We stayed for a night at Maha eco stay. We had a nice and relaxing stay surrounded by lush green gardens. This property is a sort of scheduled place inside the kodaikannal town.

Clean and neat rooms, Best service from Mr. Raja and Mr. Praveen.. Addressed our queries on time.. Very professional and friendly too.. Had a complimentary breakfast here which is way better than outside hotels in Kodai.. Will definitely opt for staying here again..

One of the best place to visit in Kodaikanal. Place is like a small village and has all the adventures in it and very private for the families, visited here for my birthday. And stayed there for 7 days. The reasons I chose this resort * People here are extremely helpful and friendly. *It was a trip with my buddy cat🐱.(yes, it's a pet friendly resort) , they will not only take care of the guests but also their pet family. *It feels like you are staying in a forest, as you will encounter bisons everyday inside this property next to your room which is quite thrilling. *Mr Praveen who cooks world class breakfast, is an amazing person. *Mr karthik treats you like a brother. Mr Raja one genuine person. *They have a beautiful Soviet themed restaurant which adds glory to the place. They bought a cake for me and the whole staff and my cat together celebrated my birthday. One amazing moment for me. On my final day the whole staff had come to drop me to the bus stop. Thanks to the team.

Very peaceful place and it’s very calm we liked the everything and the staff is too cooperative especially Praveen he was very friendly to us and too cooperative. It’s just that the bathroom is pretty old fashioned that’s it.

It was an wonderful experience and we had a good time with a pleasant room service.. Especially the jacuzzi, trampoline and the place was gud. I suggest you to buy a Amazon prime stick and wifi for the great room expreince

Stayed with family at 3 cottages in May'2022 (3,000 INR each per day) Pros: 1. Spacious stay with little garden outside. 2. Had chance to see Bison (Katterumai) from our cottage. Cons: 1. Basis amenities like drinking water, towel, soap are not provided in the room. have asked multiple times & they provided before checkout. 2. Power was not available in one of our cottage. came after long time after continuous follow up. 3. Bath water didn't come in toilet at the time of checkout. faced lot of difficulty. 4. Car (Hyundai Aura) got stuck in mud while entering bcos of previous day rain. the path is not made properly at the entrance. will not be a problem for SUV/bigger vehicles. 5. Food was always not available on time; breakfast after 10am, lunch by 2 30pm. 6. Food variety not available mostly due to frequent power shuts..since mostly all are operated at induction stoves. 6. Food not served in room. 2 of cottages at the downhill...for which the restaurant people not ready to serve food. 7. No complementary breakfast for cottages (3,000 INR not worth only for stay) 8. Staffs are too lethargic in answering for the requirements & miscommunication was there. when asked for morning coffee, staff (pravin) told it will be availabe only by 8 30 am. but when checked later, it was available from 7 am at the restaurant.

I've stayed with my family for 2 nights at Maha Echo Kodaikanal. Its situated in a nice location, and has beautiful surroundings. However, villa we booked has not been in a cleaned state. Floor was so dirty and can see dust in every cupboard. One of the toilets has leak which should have been fixed. We gave full payment before we arrived, but still villa was not made ready for us. We reached after midnight and have to ask for all basic things. There is clear shortage of staff, and thats reflecting in every service. They are charging price of 3 - 4 * , but the facility and service is of 1*. Location is very convenient, and property is situated in a beautiful location , please make it neat and ready so that customer can enjoy.

Honestly one amongst the great stay till date! Price was reasonable and location was very convenient. You do get a 5 star hospitality by Mr Praveen throughout the stay. Villa was amazing, clean, very well hygiene maintained.
