The Thuravoor Mahashetram is one of the oldest temples in Kerala. It is located adjacent to the road and is easily visible from inside your vehicle. It is a very good place to go with your family for your spiritual experience and journey. The temple is very peaceful and quiet irrespective of it being located adjacent to the road. It has two ponds. On festival days, elephants are brought to the temple for processions and all. The parking space 🅿️ is differently-abled ♿👩‍🦼👨‍🦼👨‍🦽👩‍🦽accessible. The parking space 🅿️ is not covered and your vehicles 🚐🚗🚘🚙🏎️🛴🚲🛵🏍️ will be out in the rain 🌨️🌧️🌦️💧⛈️ and the sun ☀️🌞⭐🌟🔥.

Nice experience and good devotional experience. This is mainly Narasimha Murthy Temple and adjacent is Lord Sree Krishna. The main thing offered is eezhu kone vedi in Malayalam a seven round fire cracker set at all the corners of the temple. That costs 35 rupees. There are several other offerings available here.

Ancient temple situated on side of national highway. As this temple is situated just beside national highway , it is very easy to reach this temple by using bus from Ernakulam. Deepawali is main festival in this temple. Vedi vazhipadu is the main offering in this temple. This temple does not see crowds on usual days but it will be better to visit this temple in morning or in evening to beat extreme heat during day. Blessed to have darsan today morning. One of the biggest temple ever visited. Lord Vishnu and narasimha is there to bless all the devotees who come across there for various needs. I love the ambiance and peaceful atmosphere very close to NH66. Thank you all!!!

Lord Narasimha and lord Krishna are the main consecrates of the Thuravoor temple. Normally calm and beautiful atmosphere and Temple's ambience varies with every events. NEGATIVE: The staff at the receipt counter always force us to make a lot of "offerings" But still there are no facilities or means to reduce the heat around the temple. Hence devotees cannot walk around the temple on sunny days.

One of the amazing temples in Kerala at Thuravur (adjacent to the NH) dedicated to Lord Narasimhamoorthy & Sudarshanamoorthy! Note : Temple closes in the morning around 11 am & reopens at evening around 5.30 pm. Devotees/Visitors please plan accordingly.

Two avatars of lord Vishnu, the lord Krishna and lord Narasimha are the main idols in the temple. Temple is having vast areas under its administration and have a good devotional and peaceful atmosphere.
