This bistro cafe is run by a friendly lady called Anna-Maria. She bakes torte, quiche, and other goodies daily. Also, there are made to order salads, panini and many other lunch options to suit every food restriction out there! The place has plenty of space (there is a separate "tea room" with more tables) and wifi. It's also a perfect place for aperitivo. Don't let the abundance of options distract or confuse you. If you're in doubt what to order, always ask Anna-Maria. She will explain everything in perfect English, Italian or Romanian! The building is at least three centuries old and has a historical value. The interior and exterior decorations (done by Anna-Maria herself) adds to it. A great place for students to sit down and work, and also, for tourists to visit.

We came here 3 times during our stay in Pisa and each time was better than the previous! The owner is so chatty and attentive and goes above and beyond for her customers. She has fresh cakes and the best paninis and coffee in Pisa! On one occasion my Fiancée wanted one of her homemade brownies but she had none but she would have some prepared for the next time we come in. The next time we came in there were fresh hot brownies and banana bread on the counter! There is no other cafe I have been to in Italy or England or anywhere for that matter that comes close to this place and will definitely be back when we return to Pisa

A hidden gem away from all the tourists... It's an ideal place for breakfast time that serves great tasting coffee and delicious homemade snack items. I definitely recommend the Spinach pastry and Banana loaf! :) Ana-Maria was very welcoming and a pleasure to talk with. I am confident she welcomes everyone else in the same way. Highly recommended!

Such a cute and calm place 💌 it’s a little hidden which personally was exactly what I needed after being around all the tourists at the Pisa Tower. A lovely lady made sure I had good (cold) coffee and even made me a vegan panini on request. She was very nice. Definitely recommend!

Do yourself a favor and come to this place. The owner, Ana, makes sure to make you feel welcome. The food is awesome and the prices are incredibly good! I wish her the best of luck for bringing a piece of human kindness to the world.
