Cleanliness wise the hospital is good. Attenders can stay and visit till 10 pm in night. The doctor does not speaks much. Even the nurses doesn't explain what next. Felt they are over charging. Rs.40000 to 50000 for normal delivery. Also they charge very much for the medicine and post delivery checks. We are shocked when they asked to pay Rs. 8000 for the first month vaccination. A combination of five vaccine, Which is costing Rs.2500 roughly in other private hospitals and clinics. Those who are not bothered about the expense can choose this place. Strictly not a hospital recommended for middle class.

It's very worst hospital. My best opinion don't go these hospital in any situation. The doctor , nurses nd reception they dono how to talk with patients nd attender. Only money motivation behind these hospital. If we take blood test outside nd show it means. They won't accept it..they want to take inside the hospital only every test. Nurses are thinking they r brilliant. But the real scenario they are brainless. Especially that receptionist and nurses i dono whether they are studied and came to these profession or not. Only one dailogue they will tell only patient can be allowed to visit the doctor. No one else allowed. If we ask question. They will say its management rule. I will ask u one question. When we the patient is in pain. How can they remember all the things said by doctor.. do u hAve any common sense.

I was consulting Dr. Chitra Banu who don't know anything about gynecology. My First baby born here with lot of disabilities due to the carelessness of Dr. Chitra Banu. Since she had to go out of town during weekend, she asked 6 pregnant ladies come on the same day for delivery. She induced pain for everyone and did labour for all one by one. My wife was the last one to deliver the baby, since my son struggled a long time to come out, he lacked oxygen which caused damages in his brain. Dr. Chitra banu is fully responsible for my son's sufferings for his whole life. When ever we go for consultation she won't even explain anything, she won't answer our questions and will be always rude to us. She is always careless and never pay individual care and attention to anyone. Please don't go to this hospital. Else you will suffer your whole life.

Had a very bad experience. For any reason you visit the hospital, they'll recommend you to take a scan. I would say the government hospital in Pondicherry is much better than any private hospital, that too Ashwini hospital is nowhere close to standards. You'll not get a proper response from doctor inspite of waiting for a entire day in hospital. Highly not recommended.

Sisters and duty doctors are too arrogant. I was advised to take an injection on weekly basis. I was also told upfront that this injection will cause a hell lot of pain as it contains an oily fluid inside and today when I went for the 6th one, I couldn't bear the pain and just my face changed little. The sister who injected started saying that I can't even bear this little pain of an injection and how will I be able to bear labour pain. Their tone was like they are doing this for free or cost and the duty doctor and nurse told like we are so pity to do a labour for you. Neega avlo kashta pattu lam enaku labour paaka theva ila.i will change the hospital better.I would like to reiterate that I am paying them for the treatment that they are giving. If they do not have the patience to deal with patients, then they are not fit to be in this occupation. Sisters/doctors will and should know the physical and mental state of the patients they are dealing with. If you do not like this job, BETTER QUIT. Worst hospital I will never suggest to someone for emergency also. So rude even the doctor. Like doctor like nurses and duty doctor.

I have been waiting for the whole day in the clinic just to receive a prescription sheet from Mrs. Chitra Banu who had zero concern towards patients health. I would never recommend this hospital to anyone.

This is Pavitha Thayanithy 30+ years old of a pregnancy lady bears birth to male baby through normal delivery by the benevolent treatment given by Mrs. Dr Chitra Banu in Ashwini Maternity Hospital. She is very simple and reverent. Her treatment towards pregnancy lady at the early stage and till bearing a baby is very initative, virtuous, humane, heedful and cautious. Her regular, watchful, careful treatment together with supporting doctors and nurses makes every pregnant lady relieving of their pain to give birth to normal delivery at 100%. Only at worst and unavoidable situation on considering seriousness of patient health, she goes for C -section. Her Best of Best service as a Gyncologist towards pregnant lady in our Pondy region standsby as ever as rememberable as well. Thanks

Worst experience. Admitted in the hospital after pain has started naturally and started dilating, still they induced pain, only to wrap the cases soon, without considering the patient condition. They will not inform what they are about to do, neither to patient nor to attenders. They broke the amniotic fluid sac without any prior notice. They will not analyze each cases individually during labour, considering all cases as same, they made us to suffer a lot. Had to go to c-section at last because of their carelessness. Not recommended for emergency and critical cases

Very worst clienic. No waiting area for outpatients all need to wait for hours and hours. No proper response from the staff members. Receptionist only there to collect the fee amount apart from that no response. Doctor also will not speak anything apart from writing the prescription. They only accept cash because of cheat the government. Nowadays they don't care about the patients. Only concentrating on money.

Since there is no option for not giving a star ,I'm giving one star rating ...worst reception service , no seats for pregnant ladies neither for old aged attenders accompanying them ... appointments should be scheduled accordingly so that it prevents long-standing patients(standing for hours) ...no proper response if we approach receptionists or nurses...very much disappointed....very bad experience and will not suggest anyone.

My wife delivered twin babies here (a boy and a girl). This is one hospital where everything happens somehow correctly. By seeing the crowd one really wonders how things are going to move forward, but they happen systematically. Chief doctor Chitra Banu is very supportive and knowledgeable. Her consulting available from 11 am to 4 pm in the hospital. One great benefit (or not so for others) is that visitors are allowed anytime between 6 am and 10 pm. No restrictions. I cut down one star purely because of payment options. ONLY cash payment is accepted in both the front office and medicals which is annoying at times. Hope they accept other payment options in the future.

I am delighted to leave a glowing review for Aswini Hospital! The support provided to my family from the 3rd month of pregnancy until our newborn daughter was safely taken home was exceptional. Having had four previous deliveries within our close family at Aswini Hospital, choosing it for my wife's delivery was an easy decision. Dr. Chitra Banu's care and guidance during our monthly check-ups were outstanding. Her patience in addressing our numerous doubts and concerns instilled confidence in us during the labor process. I'm immensely grateful for her expertise in successfully guiding my wife through a normal delivery, despite her petite stature. The junior doctors were also incredibly supportive, always ready to clarify any minor doubts, and their kindness was greatly appreciated. One suggestion for improvement would be to focus on continuous training for your staff and nurses, as this could enhance the overall customer experience. Additionally, implementing UPI and card payment options would simplify the payment process for customers, making it more convenient. Thank you, Aswini Hospital, for the exceptional care and support provided to my family during this crucial time. We are truly grateful!

Worst place person who is alright they make them patient demand for money. They can’t cure fibroids instead they asked to do I VF for 4lacs to a girl isn’t married. So their only intention is money. Unrelated 4K medicines just to sell n make money. What kinda doctor are they. Poor ppl .

I had my delivery and family planning in this hospital both have been taken care nicely. Once we enter the hospital we don’t need to worry about anything doctor will take care everything. Only problem is rooms need to be improved a bit.
