Overall stay was great but faced two major issues. 1. No hot water early morning. 2. Checked-in around 12:30pm and reserved for 2 rooms (also, already checked-in via Marriott app). When we reach hotel, we got 1 room and they told us that they are getting ready another room which they handed us around 4:00pm after consistently letting them know to allocate remaining. Staff was good, polite and they are eager to resolve your query but by the standard of Marriott, it is not up to the mark.

This was previously managed by the Holiday Inn group which recently now have been transferred to the Marriott group. Staff is very polite and courteous and the room service one of the fastest. They have an elaborate spread of breakfast with live Paratha counter and live tea counter during my visit. The items in breakfast where a good mix of the local staples as well as other items! The sitting area is vast and even during the peak hours you can easily find in the place. If the rooms are available, they are courteous enough to provide you early check in as well without any mention of the any extra charge. The location of this hotel is very convenient and makes traveling around the city very easy. They have in hotel store as well for basic refreshments like cold beverages and snacks. You get an panoramic view of the city from the higher floors. The rooms are cozy, well lit and clean! They are spacious as well and the overall decor is very vibrant. Love the staff and the place!

I will never stay at this property unless there is no option. It's a poorly renovated property from an old hotel. Staff is good at passing the buck to other person. Not at all helpful. Service is terrible. Only reason one can stay there is the location and proximity to the airport. Rooms are bit tidy without any standard amenities except water bottle. Bathroom is too small and after repeated requests for hot water, they could do a little to rectify the issue.

I would highly advise to find a better hotel for the price they charge. Even Hyatt down the road was 7000 rupees cheaper. Rooms were ok, nothing great. Bathroom was small. Front desk staff was rude. The lady by the entrance and exit was not helpful. She was always on her phone. For the price you pay, it’s not worth it. They came and took the trash from the room but the room was made. I would highly recommend anyone to avoid this hotel

A couple of days back I was at the hotel and it was horrendous. Let me start with the main door of the room first , just after checkin I could not lock my door. The lock machine was spoilt in some way and I had to wait for quite sometime for them to come fix it. This was not expected from a reputed franchise. Second, the washroom was a total mess, There was no hot water in the shower and the sink was cracked. The flush was not in working condition too where it kept leaking through the night. The towels were dirty and stained Third, the room carpet was atrocious, it had stains and had a very bad smell to it. Fourth, the bed could not accommodate two people even though I had booked a double bed for two Fifth, the ironing board was in very poor condition. Overall I would not stay in this hotel ever and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone either. I would not even give 1 star to Fairfield by Marriott Ahmedabad.

Property is no doubt good from service perspective. Staff are courteous,responsive and work with great sincerity. Quality of rooms are in expected lines. No second thoughts. Two drawbacks 1) room size not adequate for a family of 3 and more. Rooms are small and bathrooms are dingy.can fit only for a single business/ personal traveller 2) Dining / restaurant is small and experiences unmanageable crowd in peak hours.

The restaurant had a charming atmosphere and a menu that catered to all dietary preferences. The staff was knowledgeable about the dishes and made excellent recommendations. Worst experience. We went for buffet dinner in their restaurant yesterday i.e. 06.11.2023 at around 9.25 p.m. We told the lady on the counter our room number as we were staying in the same hotel. The lady on the cash counter was insisting that we pay for our food first and that they have to close the balance by 10.00 p.m. I told her we are staying here only and that she can always enter my room number and punch my bill. I took the plate. She again came to me and said we will have to pay first. I told her let us eat and I will pay you afterwards. However, she kept standing there for me to pay first. I took out my credit card and paid the Bill. I thought the worst is over and now I can enjoy my food. I was so wrong. I took a plate and went to the buffet plate. Most of the bowls were either empty or the food was cold. I asked the restaurant staff to fill the bowls. Nobody gave a hack about anything Since I saw nobody budging, I took whatever leftover was there in the bowls and went to the table. There was no cutlery on the table. I requested the staff for cutlery. The cutlery came after approx 5 mins. Ideally the cutlery should have been already placed on the table. Thereafter I requested this lady to get some green salad. I waited for approx 20 mins and got it myself. Then I asked them if I can have a glass on the table to drink water. I got the glass in another 10 mins. Finally I stood up and called the chef as restaurant manager (in-charge) was no where to be seen. I told him if you can't give food thn you should close this buffet. You guys insist on paying first. And thn after one has paid, you treat them like rags. Other guests also were having similar issues. If hotel staff has any doubt, they can always check the footage of the above said date and time. My worst experience after having paid so much. I recommend nobody to go to this hotel. You enter the hotel and the misery would start. Such unprofessional bunch of people.

It is a good hotel on Ashram Road. Reception has been made simple. More space is required in the waiting lounge. The cafe on the ground floor is very well arranged and the rooms are also spacious and full of facilities. It's 7 to 8 km away from the airport. Due to being on the main road, connected routes and transport facilities are available with the entire city.Overall it's a nice place to stay

Reception staff is very arrogant. I asked for room with the online rate available on their official site but the receptionist denied the rate and asked me check again the rate online and meanwhile i don't know what he did the online rates changed. Then i stayed at Four Points Sheraton, and my overall experience at Sheraton is amazing.

Best hotel for night stay in Ahmedabad. Indian cricket team usually stay in this hotel. Staff behaviour was very polite and kind. Everything was systematic. Food was lightly costly. EV charging station is also available i parking area. Satisfied with all services. Must visit.

The good thing about the hotel was that the staff were always trying to be accommodating. But I have to mention things that they badly fell out for, 1. Absolutely no hot water in the toilets, left me and my husband scrambling and freezing by 4 AM before we left for a pilgrimage. 2. They were kind enough to step up and pack a breakfast for the 2 of us, 1 mayonnaise sandwich cut into 4 for me and my husband. Definitely never staying in this property, because of my experience!

Hotel was comfortable and clean. Room was above average for the size. Clean linen good AC. It can do with some updates but overall it was delightful to stay. Now the staffing. Well they made me feel so comfortable and pampered. Spending only 2 days and 1 night this place merits a longer stay. The experience of hospitality was amazing and I have stayed at Marriott properties globally. The food took Indian cuisine to another level. Chai at breakfast OMG. Yes this is one for a return visit.

Rating 5 stars for hospitality and convenience. I got the room on a pretty heavy discount. Had I paid the full amount, I'd rate it 4/5. I loved the room's comfort and size. Dinner buffet was good. Reception is helpful and allowed me good flexibility for check out and baggage storage while I spent the day outside. They arrange for cabs, just book a day early. But my tip as a visitor is use rickshaws, not uber/Ola. The rooms are great, but carpets are dirty. Late night room service food menu is very, very limited. Overall very happy with the experience for the price I paid.

My first stay of two days was wonderful, comfortable. So i decided to book two rooms for 6 days when I shifted base to Ahmedabad. On the last evening, i literally had to complain to their sales manager about horrific room service. Next morning when V were due to check out, we discovered missing laundry. Business visit stay for a day, it's good. Anything beyond 2 days & the staff actually starts giving you cold shoulder. Three calls to room service for a cup of tea, then two more calls for an empty cup. At 6 am i requested for sugar to make tea and then 6-30 i went to their reception desk to request for tea, coz if i had requested on phone they wouldn't deliver before noon!!!. I enjoy sharing wonderful and good stories, which I did after my first visit, however it pains to pen down this kind of sour taste! 👎

I visit Ahmedabad regularly , however I stayed first time in this hotel, but experience of breakfast was very bad, idalies were not fresh, sambar was cold, puries were made up of maida, overall food was not good. Only Marriott name is there. Not worth to pay Rs. 5000.00 per day.

It's a well located, inviting and warm hotel, considering it is part of a chain. The management and staff are surprisingly young but efficient, kind, helpful and courteous. Samarth, Sachin, Saptaparna, to name a few, are outstanding in their ability to resolve problems and find solutions. The restaurant has a great breakfast and a friendly and open atmosphere. All in all, a very satisfactory stay so far and would gladly return to this hotel in the future.

We stayed in this hotel along with three other couples from 14th of December to 17 of December 2023. We all four couples are senior citizens. It was a nice stay in the hotel. Rooms, though some small in size, were neat and clean. Hotel staff is very courteous, well mannered, and supportive. As for Restaurant is concerned food items in buffet both in breakfast and dinner were numerous and very delicious. Restaurant staff is very courteous, well behaved and very attentive. Besides rooms and room service restaurant is the main part which attracts the customers. That we found very good. We all were very satisfied with our stay in the hotel.

From the moment I arrived, the staff's hospitality was top-notch. The room was luxurious and immaculately clean, with stunning views. The dining options were outstanding, offering a variety of delicious cuisines.

I visited for lunch ambiance was good, food quality excellent, little slow service (we ordered Jain food so they cook separately so may be slow service) staff well behaved must visit this places, they offered cab services also They provide TATA electric charging point with e parking so you can charge your e-car here.

Our Stay was not comfortable due to following reasons (1) Handwash and Body wash bottles were empty and were not filled even on request (2) The film on the Glass partition of bathroom was torn. Hence one person cannot use bathroom when other person is in the room. (3) We had to chase Housekeeping and Room Service Team (4) Even we had to put request to provide towels in the room.

Typical buisness hotel and not recommended for family. They have also scaled down on quality. Rooms sizes are small. So if you have a kid then sleeping on the queen size bed is a challenge. Full marks to cleaniness. Strategically located. Buffet is mediocre.

We four senior citizens couple stayed in this hotel from 14th December to 17 th December 2023 we found this hotel very decent. We enjoyed our stay very much Rooms are neat and clean with every facilities. Morning buffet / Dinner buffet are widely spread in Non veg / veg items Food is delicious. Let’s start . I stayed in Mumbai Fairfield Airport and I m extremely happy so I booked in Ahmedabad. My checked inn process was smooth and excellent. Elevator and hallways are filthy. We went to room . Room is filthy. I think housekeeping don’t do dusting . Bathroom sink has body lotion and shampoo. No hand sops. We r 2 people but only one towel in the room no hand towel. Called manager he send another towel but no apology. Next day morning went to gym .same thing filthy. All equipment has lot of dust. No hand towel in gym . Look like nobody did vacuum for weeks. Breakfast Table and chairs has stains. Food is ok but need to more organize and clean. I hope Marriott corporate do some kind of action to this hotel . This is not Marriott standard

My husband reached Ahmedabad this morning from Bangalore and took a taxi to the hotel only to be told that they had no room because of some issues which they were vague about. The hotel room was booked two weeks ago and paid for this morning. They then told him that they would put him up in Lemon tree when there are two Courtyard by Marriott in the city!!!! Since my husband is new to the city, he took their word and moved to lemon tree, which is in a not so nice area and the room stinks of cigar smoke!!! I am a Bonvoy member, if members are treated like this I can imagine others. Very poor service and customer management. Extremely disappointed!

Very well constructed property pathetically maintained. Acute manpower shortage and extreme service delays. Even for getting drinking water, you have to call them three to four times. And everyone you speak to assures you of checking the issue but it remained the same till checkout

Very good value for money mid segment hotel 4 star hotel. The room had an excellent view and the service was really quick. All requests were accomodated. Excellent location with plenty of parking space !

Location wise this is a nice hotel which is very close to Gandhi Ashram, Sabarmati River front and easily reachable to airport as well. But compared to the price charged as room tariff this property of Bonvoy is not up to the mark. The rooms are not very airy and wash rooms are also not well designed. The giant view of river and city through the glasses from the top floors is really nice. The room design could have been better. The service level is not excellent. The buffet breakfast doesn't offer a wide range of foods for persons coming from different regions. Have tasted Jain food one day which was really good to taste. It was a mixed experience....

It is very well located being just beside the riverfront and the entire city is accessible from it. The facilities are what a standard starred hotel will offer. We had stayed there during the course of a wedding and found the food to be very good though not especially fascinating. The breakfast menu was fairly large though the service during breakfast was not too good. Had to remind the waiters a few times for tea/coffee which was being brought from inside the kitchen. The standard rooms however were small and had only queen-sized beds making it difficult for 2 people to comfortably adjust on them. The standard room does not have enough space for an extra bed or even to accommodate an extra child. If a bed was put up there would be no space to move. Overall though the experience was good.

This is one of my favourite hotel for BNI meetings. Very nice organisation and very good breakfast. Once BNi offer another Hotel for Meeting but I wasn't attend that meeting.

Rooms are ok not too big not too small. There's no valet parking facility, no bell boy to carry your luggage. You need to inform prior whether you are travelling solo or a couple. Or else they will charge you extra if you fail to inform later. In breakfast, items are limited as compared to other Marriott hotels. Cafe staff are helpful and supportive. Have a limited menu for dining in the room.

Loved the Sunday brunch of Fairfield with such an amazingly view 😍 A spacious restaurant with 50+ varieties which included many cuisine. Satisfied the taste buds of everyone. Quick service & delicious hot starters was the main attraction especially in non veg & yummy live pasta counter & chaat counter made the brunch a memorable one. Freshly made pizza was unbelievable good ! A strongly suggested place for even for family gathering, birthday parties, formal brunch & definitely with friends & family.

I selected this hotel reading its reviews but has failed on multiple levels. First of all would love to appreciate the dining staff very polite and cooperative. Now, Let’s get to the point. 1. Check in policy is not convenient. Check in time is 3PM . Hence had to wait for 2.5 hours with all our luggage in the lobby. 2. The room which I got had some patches on the carpet 3. From privacy point of view you can hear all the conversations going on in the next room. They ordered LACCHA PANEER for lunch. 4. The toilet flush is not working properly, it remains on after use and water is being wasted until you notice. 5. Food taste wise is OKAY. Nothing to write back home. Not at all upto Marriott standards. Cheers

It's been a long time since I had fish and chips cooked to such perfection. Not an ounce of extra oil on the coating of the fish, which had a crunchy texture, while the meat retained its softness. The hotel is good. I had visited here for a wedding function. The staff needs some training and there are many managers present and so one can find it harder to contact the right manager and other staff always ask the customer to get the question asked to the manager. Sometimes the staff/manager do not know what needs to be done or what answer to give to the customer. Still one can visit because of the reputed name.

The experience was awesome. Our room was upgraded by Mr vipin, executive housekeeper on his own which gives better view of the city. The food was available even at odd hours in night. He also called before coming for any help needed for transportation and transfers m overall great stay. Staff is cordial and helpful.

It’s a very well maintained business hotel, courteous staff Clean rooms and they have good spread in buffet. In 3 days, we saw at least 10 foreigners staying in this hotel. So looks likes it’s a preferred choice for foreign business travellers, which speaks very positively for the hotel. We had a very pleasant stay for 3 day here. My special thanks to Mr Vipin and his team for excellent hospitality and catering to our requests. Thank you very much. Also the location is Excellent , just under 10 min cab ride to Riverfront and nearby restaurants.
