Very bad experience from Blue Ginger Staff and Management, I will never recommend this resort to anyone. Very bad food with high price and lesser quality. The room is not worth the price they charge. Really bad experience. Highly charged for the rooms they give. Quality of the rooms are pathetic.. not maintained.. they show very old photos in the online.. after seeing those phots and if you come here you will be disappointed... Also your vehicle will not reach the property. You need to take jeep which will have extra cost to you. This will not be told until you reach 4 km before the Resort. ₹ 1000 they charged for Jeep one side.. so total ₹2000 for jeep and 12000 for rooms. Total 14000.00 ohhhh man..!! IT'S NOT EVEN WORTH FOR ₹4000.. SO PLEASE THINK TWICE BEFORE YOU BOOK THIS PROPERTY.

Worst experience and not worth for money! The presence of hidden charges caught me off guard, with an eye-watering ₹600 one-way charge for the Jeep ride to the resort, which escalated to ₹700 after 8pm. The limited food choices at incredibly high prices left me disappointed, and it was served cold added to the overall discomfort. The resort's understaffing was evident, as was their unwelcoming attitude, leaving me with an unpleasant impression. Furthermore, the poorly maintained swimming pool and underwhelming recreation room underscored the lackluster experience. Despite my persistent efforts, obtaining a bonfire was needlessly challenging, only becoming feasible after 11pm following multiple disputes. Given the circumstances, I strongly urge potential guests to consider alternative resorts. While the lush vegetation was promising, the absence of a pleasing view was a setback. The resort's trekking activity is available on demand and the management says to take it at our own risk due to leech problem. I went for short trial near waterfalls and my hands, shirts were covered with leeches Inside the room, basic amenities were disappointingly absent, and the water pressure issues were aggravated by a lengthy 45-minute wait for hot water. To top it off, the room service's inability to change linens due to a missing spare key was a significant oversight that further affected the experience. Wi-Fi is not available at any rooms and it’s only available at lobby. None of the mobile service providers work there.

Will not recommend, last week had stayed in the Glue Ginger resort . Food was good and staffs are Rude. The price of the food too costlier than 7 star hotel. We ordered two French fries and got the bill amount 845 rupees. Which is higher than the price in the menu and no body has no clue why it is. After paying huge amount for a night We requested additional bed sheet and pillow for kid , for that they demanded additional bed charge charge 1000 rupees. Stay duration 2 O clock checkin and 10 O clock you have to check out. Though it is built on a Hill side there is no view or feeling you are staying in such a place. You could see a scenic beauty only at the pool side. Over all its waste of money I personally felt.

My experience at Vythiri Blue Ginger Resort has been bitter sweet. While the overall journey upto Vythiri was comfortable, we had to wait for a very long time at a poorly lit parking slot of the Resort for their pick up Jeep to pick us and take us to the resort. We were constantly in touch with the Resort manager and they could have planned the pick up jeep better. The property and location is awesome however the team isn't so efficient in managing high footfalls. At such high altitude where the weather is cold we ended up having cold water bath since their gas geysers weren't functioning. Coming to the food, this is a good place for Non vegetarians however for pure veg like us we felt short changed. Veg soup and non veg soup were kept in the same food holder with hardly any partition. Possibly the authorities could have been more sensitive over such delicate issues. During our check out we were asked to pay INR 600 to the jeep to drop us to the parking lot which was never informed to us earlier. Overall it wasn't so satisfying and I wish the authorities scale up and pull up their services.

Wayanad's Blue Ginger Resorts surpassed my expectations. The area is absolutely stunning, with rich vegetation and amazing views all around. The tranquil setting provided an essential break from the bustle of the city. A pleasant stay was guaranteed by the attentive and helpful employees. The excellent facilities and amenities enhanced the overall experience. I 100% recommend Blue Ginger Resorts for a memorable vacation.

I got very bad experience from Blue Ginger resort Wayanad. They are not corporative with customer, they just looting money and giving waste service. Guys don't go with Blue Ginger 😐. Take better one.

This is located in the amidst forest. Pros: Good place to rejoice with family and friends. Tidy rooms, good service by staff and manager. Natural pond with little water fall. Cons: Reaching to Location is very tough, either you should have 4*4 or you should hire theirs from parking lot which is 4-5 km away. No network, wifi is in only reception lobby. Food quality is good but too costly. Buffet is very limited for the cost they say. Recommend Only for youth, senior citizens stay away as you may get body pains to reach there or will be in difficult position during emergencies.

The arrangement of a jeep for transportation comes with an extra cost. Unfortunately, the resort itself is not properly maintained and appears old. The staff were not very accommodating, and the service left much to be desired. The biggest letdown was the food – it was of poor quality, and timely meal service was a struggle. It was disappointing that they weren't prepared to handle food for all the guests at once, leading to inconvenient delays. In summary, my visit to Blue Ginger Resorts in October 2023 left me very disappointed. While the forest ambiance is a plus, the resort's condition, staff service, and food quality need significant improvement to provide a more enjoyable stay.

Blue ginger resort is a best place to escape from the Bangalore city zone Where you find the greenary surrounded you, private water fall and the nature sound, it’s just amazing And rooms are equipped with good furniture’s we just loved it. Staffs are friendly and chef prepares the amazing food. It was a well spent days. Thank you for the whole team who helped us with each and every requirement as we requested for. Holding a babies of 5 months and 9 months old staying at your resort made us to feel like home.

Location is gorgeous and scenic. Although it is a high ride up from below, it is absolutely worth it. The staff were great and the food was delicious. The rooms were beautiful and make you feel like you are dwelling in luxury whilst also being cozy. Our trip was absolutely fantastic with everything tying it together! The bonfires after dinner also provide such a dream like feeling! definitely recommend !!
