Awesome place right in the green sant'elena,near biennale .with food and quality wines with quite manageable prices. The owner and the bar staff are friendly. Recommended

Visited this everyday in the morning for coffee. Excellent place to sit, have coffee, ruminate, watch the water, read a book, do whatever. Excellent service by everyone.

Amazing little neighborhood snack bar. The staff was very friendly and made us feel welcome. We stayed at a hotel around the corner so we got to experience this place a few times, including pre-match drinks before watching Venezia FC take on Brescia. On our last night, we had an octopus bolognese and a plate of stock fish that were the highlights of our trip and finished off with a delightful limoncello. If you find yourself in Sant'Elena, I highly recommend a visit here.

Great spot away from the crowds. Lovely quiet walks around the area and a perfect spot for a winter sunset view. Great little cafe with lovely treats, savoury and sweet and very reasonably priced drinks.

My wife and I, and another couple that we travel with frequently, spent a couple of hours here on May 14, 2022. It was a wonderful afternoon. It was a lovely setting, away from the crowds. The staff were warm, friendly and attentive, and the food was excellent. We intentionally over-tipped because we had such a good time, and the owner came out to protest, but we insisted and I'm glad we did, because it was clearly appreciated.

Nice place and friendly staff. We had an institutional meeting here and everything went pretty smooth and they managed a whole night very well. They offer a proper range of red wine and the prices are reasonable comparing to many other places in Venice.

We stopped by on match day for Venezia FC. Our server warned us it would get busier and noisy. We loved it. Very nice change from the center of Venice with trees and playgrounds and locals chatting.

I went here every morning for a coffee before work. It's well situated in the local area and away for the tourist traps. If your looking for a local, honest and friendly cafe / bar with reasonable prices, this is the place. The staff are friendly and always happy to help. Plenty of seating both inside and outside. Highly recommended

welcome to the county of sant elena. hands down the place for a local venetian aperitivo. the only place you can enjoy your spritz in the middle of parkland while watching a breathtaking sunset. +5 stars doesn’t begin to give this place meaning. a hidden gem in the rough. ❤️

Excellent location - close to the sea, in the park, under trees in the shadow. There is a children playground close to the bar. The prices are very friendly.

Still a very nice place, not far from the city, but not so noisy, close to the green park and the water, really kind staff with good dishes, excellent olivas!

Service excellent, nice range of snacks, good food, close to the playground for kids. Lovely calm spot, away from the hustle and bustle. I had a Greek Salad, others had the Chicken cutlet, a few Spritzes etc. So good we came back the next day. Nothing fancy, just good honest food.

This place is a disgrace. We ordered 4 Pizzas; 3 of them were admittedly homemade and delicious but the last one was a frozen pizza with the ordered topping added on. When we complained, we were told that they had run out of dough...

Having a great local cafe is so important to a community. I would love to say this place is it. However serving up a still frozen tapas is careless, serving it up still frozen a second time is frankly unforgivable. Bad day? Maybe. But it doesn't fill you with confidence for the full menu.

I recommend you to stop by this bar located at the tip of the island. It is an area where local people generally live, and it is an area with beautiful views and nature, where you can drink a nice splitz in the local bar.

I am an Italian and resident in Venice for 6 months a year. I know what I’m saying when I tell I had the worst sprits at this bar. For a start, they used white wine instead of prosecco, which is the cheap alternative that already ruins a sprits. Then to make things worse, they finished the drink with leftover sparkling water of an almost empty bottle that had lost all of its bubbles. I left the bar with my cup, took a sip already knowing I was going to be disappointed, and ended up pouring it in the ground right after. It was a young guy who made the spritz but it wasn’t his fault because two are the cases: 1. Either he was not trained to make a decent, not even acceptable, spritz 2. Or it was trained to make it so on purpose In both cases, the person who runs the place is responsible.

While all “white” customers were getting served, I and cross the table, there was an African descent person ( who happened to be someone I know ) were completely invisible. We were forgotten at this cafe. To be fair, young people working at the cafe are absolutely fine as I used to go this place quite sometimes, but that particular day, there were only old lady and men working and unfortunately they have bias that minorities customers are never in their priorities. They can't see us as customers. Anyway I have other reasons that to avoid the place, because all pizza and pasta are frozen products from supper markets, Drinks are different prices every-time I go, depends on the day, depending on who I go with. Outdoor sittings seems nice but as soon as you sit, year around mosquitos eat you alive. Therefore, I skip and I can't recommend to anybody.

Excellent and attentive staff! Good food at reasonable prices. Nice setting although simple. We came very late at night (closing time) and they prepared food for 8 with no complaints. We then came back also the day after. Super recommended. Out of the crowds ad in the green on the lagoon side. Bravi!

Lovely place. Just be sure to have insect repellent if you are sitting outside by the trees. Not a slight on the place at all though, clean, lovely food. Just the price you can pay if u sit by the trees

After a busy visit to the Venice centre, this bar is a bit of a life-saver if you want to take a breather at the S. Elena boat stop. Precisely because of this, I think they could make a little extra effort to make you feel welcome, which unfortunately they don't. So, your ice coffee or ice cream cappuccino is just that, with nothing added to the experience.

Great service and great food. They even bring some extra free appetizers. Very chill and relaxing place. Inside you can get coffee and pastries. Been few times now. Recommend :)

The worst Mojito in my life. Just ice and water, zero taste for 9 euro. To the one who made it : 1 lime should go not 1 slice. And don't forget rum and suger. Shame!

Nice local bar. Great change from many if the tourist options in the rest of Venice. Can even watch the kids in the playground while having appertivo

Coffee in taste was nice but it wasn't what I've ordered. I've asked for Iced caffee Latte and I've got espresso with cold milk. It costed 3,5 euro - c'mon. Yesterday in another place I've got proper shekerato for 2 euro. I don't like when people living here treat tourists like idiots. 3 stars because coffee in itself is in good quality.

Great local place. Outside of tourist crowded street. Food is quite cheap. You can get lunch for 9€.

Ordered a tramezzino as it was only €2. Sat down to eat it together with a coffee. When I went to pay, they were adamant I had ordered a focaccia for €5. I have been here several times in the past with good service. As they ripped me off today, I will not return. The staff and most of the customers inside the bar weren't wearing face masks.

Ordered Cannelloni and was certainly surprised when 3 noodles arrived in a sauce of questionable consistency. All 3 noodles were different, ranging from frozen over soggy to burnt and dry. Probably because they were microwaved? 3 stars because it was fast, service was okay, prices also okay for Venice

Simply loved this place. Food was great, service very good and the location is perfect for parents with kids. Just 3 boat stops from the center, shade with several places for kids to play.

What a great find in a leafy, relatively untouristed part of the island. Lots of old men gathering for spritzes...which is what I look for in a bar.
