I don't understand all the hate towards this bar. We ended up here for breakfast and had a very pleasant experience. The staff and service were absolutely polite, kind and efficient. The croissants were very tasty and the coffee/tea selection was great. Prices are a little higher than a typical Italian bar but you're in the heart of Venice and location matters a lot. I'd definitely recommend this place again. Disclaimer: I haven't used their restrooms but lots of people seem to complain about the cleanliness of them.

Slow service, very expensive, the most expansive meal with the lowest quality during our stay in Venice. 3 cappuccino and 3 pastries for €30! The sweets seemed to have 1 week already, were very hard to bite.

Holy cow the staff is SO RUDE!!! I stood in line to pay and the employee helped FIVE (5) other people before he helped me. I guess my money is not as good as the younger people. The lemon cake was €6 and is was meh. FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE TO EAT!! Like how they threw my cake in this take away container? I told them I don’t need a lid but gah can you just put a piece of cake down straight??

Tourist are not welcome here, but they like our money. They serve you expired orange juice at 7€. We also order a little sandwich and they serve us a big one 2 times more expensive. I think it's done on purpose. Very dishonest and overpriced place. Staff beyond the bar is really rude, especially the lady at the bar should work in a prison. They completely deserve their rating. Shame on them.

Extremely rude and unprofessional staff. The espresso is disgusting (sour) and overpriced. At the bar you’ll have to pay €1,50. This may not sound much, but it’s the most expensive espresso in Venice. Don’t go here. Also if you want to pay by card (no matter the amount of money you spend), you’ll have to pay an additional fee of €1,00. The toilets are even more disgusting than their coffee. They look and smell like they haven’t been cleaned in weeks. Best to avoid this place

Cappuccino was good but then again it is hard to get a bad one when it is made by a machine. It was definitely expensive at almost 5$ plus their card machine wasn’t working. Overall it’s okay but I’m sure there are less priced places in the area. Service was okay and not bad as they were pretty attentive.

If this is what a Torino cafe is like I’ll stick with Venice….and somewhere else. One side of the chocolate cake that I ordered was dried out and hard. It had been exposed to air for several hours or days. Don’t recommend this place

Just had an espresso doppio, which was quite good. Atmosphere wasn't particularly welcoming or bubbly, staff were ok.

The service and food was ok but they have charged us with 7 more euros without any explanation. If you go there ask for detailed ticket they will always try to charge you more for sure.

Amazing service. For the first time found people who are interested in knowing the choice and go beyond language barrier to cater the customer needs.

The ATM did not work. As a result, we had to pay in cash. I could not match the requested amount in cash, so I gave a larger note assuming I would get change. Immediately, I was thanked for the tip I supposedly gave. This was clearly not the case and they could tell from my reaction that I was shocked. However, there was no way I could get my change from them. Terrible experience. I really felt scammed!

Drinks were great, espresso was great, treats were great. Service was normal for Venice. Bathroom was kinda gross, but we were crying with delight to find a quick drink and bathroom stop.

Don’t waste your time, money, and good mood here. The coffee is tasteless and expensive. The staff is very unfriendly and even rude. For paying by card they request an admission fee of 1€! The toilets are disgusting. Wish I would have walked by…

Very surprised by the negative reviews here. We came to this cafe since all other restaurants were closed for lunch break. The staff here was so friendly, helpful and fun! We had the Gnocchi and some sandwiches and the taste was superb. We also had great coffee here. stayed several hours here because the staff was so much fun and helpful. Grazie mile 🙏

The cashier (lady with colorful eyes , black/brown hair) was extremly rude with senior Man next to us regarding using facilities . I have never seen such a bad behaviour! Italians are famous for being kind but such a person can ruin all kindness of Venice !!!

I sat on a chair inside and ordered a Caffe Latto + Chocolate Croissant. It was around 11.30 am. Paid the bill for 3.75 Euros. After 2 hours I came back and drank the same, and paid 5.5 Euros. around 3:00 p.m. I came a third time for the same chair and ordered the same Caffe Latto + Croissant with chocolate and paid 7.50 euros. I asked to receive an invoice for the service, the invoice is attached as a picture. I did not expect this kind of rudeness even in madness.

The cafeteria is expensive as other places in the area. All prices are clearly shown before ordering. The service is good, very quick arranged the customers. This place doesn't deserve so low reviews at all.

Beware of simple scams here. Worst cafeteria we've had encounter. Terribly overpriced, when asked if we want a beer, we received 1L and had an argument about it, as waiter was trying to tell us that he offered "big" beers (of course terribly pricey). Not cool.

No public prices. Local guy got his espresso for 1 or 2 euros, I had to pay for cappuccino and a piece of pie 8,5. It was tasty but clearly they just see tourists and decide the price at spot

The staff is pretty decent and nice, however, the sandwiches we received were pretty bad. They are way too overpriced (6-7 euros), but they looked and tasted like they were laying in the display for several hours. The sandwiches seemed warm to touch, but were cold on the inside. I wouldn't recommend this place.

The strange-looking waitress ignored us, we sat down, waited for 10 minutes but she kept doing something else. Stood up and left. It used to be a good place.

Unfriendly and dismissive staff, unfortunately bad service service. The waitress is quite rude. Kitchen is closed half the time and the price is quite steep for the quality of the food, and card payment isn’t accepted. There are plenty of better options in the vicinity.
