Such a delightful apartment hotel. The central location is perfect as a base to visit the best attractions in Venice. The rooms are spacious clean and modern. The hosts are very helpful and friendly. The rate include a breakfast pack that has everything you might need for a breakfast or snack during your stay. There are many great restaurants just a short walk from the hotel. If you are traveling as a family this hotel is an ideal choice.

Our best experience in Italy thus far. Rooms were nicely appointed, location was great, service was superb. My kids wanted to stay in and eat as opposed to going out!

Executive experience on a budget!!! We’ve stayed in Venice at some much higher priced hotels in the past, but for this trip we focused on Tuscany and planned only a single overnight side trip to Venice for the Biennale and discovered Ca’ Foscolo based on its central location that would provide easy access everywhere. And so glad we did. The Residence is a small, charming hotel that is really more like executive apartments. Our unit was two bedrooms with a kitchen, super clean and spacious, very comfortable beds, nice bathrooms and a fun canal view. We super appreciated the provided in-room breakfast (ample and yummy!) even including juice, milk and other goodies waiting for us in the refrigerator. The staff was super cheerful and helpful and even went out of their way to hold our bags for us both before checkin time (we got to Venice in the morning) and also after checkout (we could simply swing by in our way back to the train station to pick up our bags and go). A great experience in every respect and we’ll definitely plan to stay here again!

Excellent location, you may walk everywhere. Room was spacious and clean. We upgraded to a view to the Canal, but it is not worth it: you can hear boats at night and it is the back of places, where they collect garbage, so nothing special. The shower pressure is ridiculously low, so be prepared for a 30 min. shower. Internet is ok. The bed is big and good. Some Nespresso capsules were a nice surprise.

Beautiful place to stay in the heart of Venezia and only a short walk from Piazza di San Marco and Ponte di Rialto. Get a private taxi to the front door, and they will setup one to the airport if you ask. Beautiful location and building building with the comforts of home! Each room is an apartment with its own bathroom, living, and eat in kitchen. There are no elevators, so if you have mobility restrictions, request the bedroom on the ground floor (1st floor is usually the first flight up). Our family of 9 had 3 rooms, all clean and comfortable!

We've been to Venice several times and stayed at various hotels that we liked. By far, this lodging is the most comfortable in every way. It was an apartment with a kitchenette, living room, bedroom and bathroom. Very quiet and clean. Excellent central location walking distance from everything. Outstanding staff.

Don’t stay anywhere else! We visited 5 cities and the Residence Ca Foscolo was by far the best accommodations! Elisabetta & Tommaso spoke great English and were so kind! Their service was as if we were in a 5 star hotel! The location is surrounded by everything you need! The room was clean and had very comfortable beds. We stayed in unit 7 (2 bdrm) which was on the canal. It included a washer/dryer and a wide variety of breakfast items in small kitchen off of the central living room. Navigating through Venice to find any hotel for a first time visitor can be challenging. I recommend taking a water taxi to the hotel. They drop you off right out front.

Excellent hotel. If you are vacationing in Venice, this is the hotel for you. Located near the middle of the city, making accessing all the sites easy. Hotel rooms are in the form of apartments. These have a washer/dryer, wifi access, and breakfast in your room (the hotel provides plenty of food!).

Instructions were given on how to get to the apartment from the airport. Clear and easy to follow, we had no trouble at all in finding it. From the moment we checked in we were made to feel welcome. Check-in was seamless and quick. The manager/owner (not sure which) explained to us the function of the various keys. Provided a map of the city and marked on it where we were and the locations of a couple of supermarkets. She showed us to our room where things only got better. Large, bright, overlooking the canal. Bedrooms were huge. Comfortable beds. Spacious bathrooms (2 of). Well equipped kitchen. Comfortable sitting/meals area. There is nothing negative to say about this apartment. From the outside, the building looks a bit downbeat. But once inside you realise you are in an old building that has been tastefully restored and furnished. Lots of original features have been retained. One thing to note - there is no elevator in the building and the apartments are on the 2nd floor (assistance was offered for help with luggage), so people with mobility issues may have a bit of trouble. However, overall, this apartment is an absolute gem. Given its location (located between Rialto bridge and San Marco Basilica) we thought the price of the apartment was ore than reasonable. Would definitely stay here again.
