Be careful its a restaurant without a signage on it. The service fee is 12% (as high as hotels). I have been living in EU and this was my first time a cafe charged for a service fee. We ordered the black squid pasta and it was sour, and inedible. And the baby lobster was truely a baby like it was born yesterday. The baby was served half size

Better not trying. The worst food you could get in Venice. It’s albanuan cookers trying made Italian food. If you want to spend for this two dishes 45€ go on! They should work in own country to make kebabs!!!!

The restaurant in Venice is by far the worst. Their primary aim is to deceive customers and lure them into a scam. I decided to order the spaghetti with clams and lobster, which was listed as 100 grams for 9 euros. Unfortunately, throughout the entire process, there was no indication that the price would increase or that the portion size would exceed 100 grams. They clearly acted in bad faith, taking our order without any transparency. When the time came to settle the bill, to our dismay, the amount due was a staggering 54 euros. To justify this exorbitant amount, the restaurant staff claimed that the agreed-upon minimum portion size for that day in Venice was 600 grams and that it could vary to 400 grams or even 1 kilogram the following day. In essence, the menu advertised 100 grams for 9 euros, but if they serve you 900 grams or 1 kilogram, they insist that you pay for the entire kilogram. On top of that, we were hit with a cover charge of 2 euros per person and a mandatory 12% service charge. Despite their claims that we should pay based on the menu, it is important to note that no menu indicated a minimum dish size of 600 grams. If I had known that I would be charged 54 euros, I certainly would not have chosen to dine at this establishment. To further exacerbate the situation, when we attempted to address the issue with the manager, they rudely spoke over us and refused to listen. They forcefully snatched the payment slip from our hands and inserted it into the machine, disregarding our concerns entirely. The entire encounter was truly appalling

I’ve ordered just 2 pasta with one appetiser, the restaurant overcharged me and ask me to pay 60 euro. Will not recommend and will not go again

Tourist trap! Don't even try. The rating is well deserved. The food was awful. My steak tasted like rubber, the pizza was hard. The charge cuperto AND 12% service, whether you liked it or not. My request for a ketchup was ignored. One of my worst meals ever. DON'T be tempted by the price. You will regret it.

I actually enjoyed my food but It was their lucky day as I haven’t checked their reviews. It was my first place in Venice and I had no idea where should I ho or eat, so we’ve tried first restaurant. Their price is higher than other places and their portion was smaller, Sea food rices where not cooked properly and Penne pasta portion was so small with too much cream in it. Not regret to try this place. Thanks 🙏

I had the unfortunate experience of dining at this restaurant in Venice, and it was without a doubt the worst food I've ever had in the city. The food was completely tasteless. I can't believe they dare to call themselves a restaurant in a city known for its culinary excellence. The service was equally disappointing, with uninterested and inattentive staff. Save your money and taste buds, and avoid this place at all costs.

dog food for 100 euros is so funny i couldnt even be mad. Obvious tourist scam, ordered a dish of pasta seafood, forgot to specify the grams and they brought out a big dish of pasta with frozen lobster and clams. Pizza viennsa was microwaved dough with co-op bought sausages. id be more than happy to pay more for a dish thats good but the lobster was smaller than my pp and im Asian.

It was a huge risk to choose a Resturant where is 1.9 rated. (The time we chosen to visit here the rating was 1.9) Here is why 4 stars. The owner is so friendly and nice. Good quality is not bad. The service is quite good. Only caution is don’t expect same look as what you’ll see on the menu!!! Menu needs to be updated and good are not as their photo.

They gave us the "tourist menu" which was fine until our food came out! We were served our food on side plates and tiny portions compared to other diners! We felt embarrassed sitting next to others who had obviously better plated dishes! Overall the food wasn't great, the chicken was grey when we cut into it and was full of oil! It was rubbery and chewy in texture, we didn't end up eating our meal and left as quick as we could! We had fab food everywhere else in Venice and this place left it down.

Not only they take 12% tax without informing, they also take every opportunity to scam tourists. I charged my phone at the restaurant while eating, so they took 4€ for it without informing. 12%+4€ out of nowhere. They will smile at you, but will take any chance to take money from you. There are way better places to eat in Venice!

DO NOT GO THERE!!! Dont waste your money, not worth a cent! Food was absolutely disgusting, Spagetti had no taste, no salt, no bread like all other tables, Spagetti were even cut into small pieces. Service was very unfriendly and they charged us 12% service fee for no service!!! When I asked he tried to say its tax which we know is not true. GOT VERY RUDE WHEN I TOLD HIM, SAID HE DOESNT CARE AND I SHOULD BELIEVE WHAT I WANT AND TALKED TO SOMEONE ELSE INSTEAD. WORST PLACE IN VENICE!!!!! Dont get me started on the drinks, watered down Fanta which looked like a applejuice with water but they persisted otherwise and you could taste more water with a fade fanta taste. Toilet was discussting, men and women joined but NO locks, very dirty, no soap!!! DO NOT GO THERE!!!!!

This place was really good. From the outside looking in, I wasn't going to stop but was lured in by (who I am guessing to be) the owner of the establishment. I ordered the cannelloni and a "Tall Beer" and both were outstanding! My meal came out to be 24$ and I would have easily paid double for it.

My parents who can’t speak English or Spanish came here with our son and fell into a tourist trap! They bought a bowl of spaghetti for our kid and the bill came as 90 euros!? Firstly I asked how???? We later went back and asked for our refund but they said it cost that much because our 3 year old son ate a kilo of spaghetti! We still haven’t had our refund and very annoyed. Avoid this restaurant at all costs!

They are a great example of tourist scam. Please! Please be aware of deceiving, unfair people and never go there. They looking for tourist to trap them and empty their packet with deceiving. I have ordered a pasta, which mentioned on the menu 15 euro. But at the desk they charged me 118 euro!!!!! Since there was a lobster, really prepared in a bad way, in pasta! You can see in pic, i was not be able to eat it till end. I told them that in your menu with the picture of the food next to it, it is mentioned 15 euro!!! But you did not tell me that i should paid seperatly for lobster. actually i did not asked them a lobster, i just asked for a dish of pasta.

I would skip it if I'd seen the reviews sooner. The staff was friendly but they kept taking away my bottle of olive oil and balsamic vinegar and were uncoordinated. We asked for the salad to come before the pasta but everything came together and was cold plastic by the time we got to the main dishes. Salad was nice and fresh and the pasta was super bland. Not a very clean place. Overpriced for the food quality AND quantity.

Taste nice, good service and very reasonable price, although it charge service fee, but the waiters are all nice. Highly recommended.

The waiters were friendly & funny. The penne with pesto was good & filling. However, the portions of fries & grilled chicken breast were so small! The chicken was also quite dry & thin.

Was surprised that the critics were bad… we had 2 excellent meals … we’re there twice. The personal friendly, the food was good although the portions at lunchtime were smaller than in the evening… I do think that there’s been a change in the ownership. We go there every time we’re in Venice and have never been disappointed

We didn’t read the reviews while going to the this restaurant, we were just looking for some restaurant who offers vegetarian food…for us it went really well.. Being in Venice language was issue but still the owner was able to understand our requirements and all the staff members were happy to serve… Omelette was good with spinach Salad was quite healthy and good in quantity. One star goes off for the prices…but still value for money was there…

Food was good but took a long time and the chicken breast that we got was super dry and thin. The waiters were really nice and friendly.

SCAM ! Do not go here, we were given a different price when payment was due, pasta we ordered on menu was 15 euro, when paying they increased to 63 euro, because we added lobster. Their argument was that lobster was a different price and was not on menu. Complete scam. We told another restaurant what happened to us, we showed them our receipt, they said that their receipt is not an official one because their restaurant name is not even on it. Which is an obvious way of denying that the receipt comes from them, which at the time didn’t click when sadly paying the 40 euro scam.

Wery small dish for main course in Tourist Menu. Extra tax and service fee was invoiced. Such were not in other restaurant I visited. I complained the dish size to staff and they just said that when there are too many complaints they just change the name of the restaurant and continue eithout changes.
