Unbelievably affordable and incredibly delicious – it almost feels like a crime! If you find yourself there, do yourself a favor and try everything on the menu. You won't be disappointed!

Not another tourist scam bar. Very nice prices - the tastiest cicchettis I've ever tried so far. Also, the cheapest (1€). Staff barerly speaks English, but even though they are really helpful and friendly to customers. Also, you can sit outside without paying the scam fee (coperto) I am really happy with the lunch.

I ordered 15 different Cicchetti priced at £1 each, along with a medium-sized Spritz priced at £2.80. It reminded me of the Italian version of Japanese sushi, but instead of rice, they use bread. I really enjoyed it!"

Just yum!!!! Cheap, cheerful and delicious with very friendly staff. I came back almost every day to eat the cicchetti and sit in the lovely and lively little piazza. Can't wait to come back.

Delicious cicchetti and everything is VERY cheap, specially if you consider the prices in Venice. And the host is very friendly. This place is located in a calm and peaceful piazza away from the most touristy areas, so the relaxed atmosphere makes you feel like a local! Totally recommend

Great place to have a little snack while walking through Venice island. Lots of delicious cicchettis to choose from, well-priced. Definitely worth visiting.

Great little hole in the wall eatery. It has wine, beer, spritz and Cicchetti. The spritz come in four sizes but the 2.8 euro medium size seeed to be the best deal an most comparable to the ones served at restaurants. All the cicchetti we tried wee good and alot of variety. I thought that there were slow in doing some of the ordering so if there is a long queue it might be best to pay a bit more elsewhere to avoid the 45 min wait. There are only 6 tables and chairs so you will likely have to stand and or sit by the canal or church steps. We ended up getting 8 cichetti and two medium spritz for about 13 euro.

Amazing bar with very low prices both for alcohol and food, at the same time the quality is decent. There is a diverse selection of delicious cicchetti with different tastes, home wine, and spritz. The staff is very friendly and nice. 100% recommended!

If you want a quick bite, in a scenic peaceful place in Venice I highly recommend eating at Arcicchetti Bakaro. The food is delicious, affordable, and the owner is super nice. If you come to Venice you gotta come here!

Great drink and snack here! Grappolo frizzante has became my latest favourite drink, very thirsty quenching and fruity! The big Roman columns of the church next door allow you to sit next to, definitely give your drinking session a lot Italian vibe! If you know Japanese animation Saint Seiya, it’s another level! Can’t quite name the snacks, the cheese one with pine nuts is my favourite.

First time trying Cichetti, it was unexpectedly really flavorful for something so small! The bartender was very helpful in explaining and recommending to us. €1 per cichetti, great snack and fun experience. My fav was the cheese & pear & honey.

Be prepared to queue for a while! This place is extremely popular - the cicchetti are absolutely excellent and *very* cheap. Not many tables to sit at, but there's the church steps or the side of the canal. Beware of swooping seagulls - they're merciless!

Cool small bar with appetizers (cicchetti). Good prices. No much tables outside no place inside. Near the bar is steps where most people sit. Economic and urban experience.

Absolutely the most authentic and delicious Cicchetti bar in Venice! Very affordable price to try all the available options, at only €1 each! Outdoor dining only, and there are menacing seagulls and opportunistic pigeons to contend with! The house wine is very good, and the spritz is best price in town! An absolute must, as soon as you get off the nearby bus, boat or train! Awkward to get to with Google maps, just ignore the navigation towards the end and go manually!

Can you give more stars than 5??? This place is wonderful and a must for any visitor to Venice. It has both charm and charisma whilst providing great food and hospitality, and hospitality is rare in most venetian premises. When i went today the guy behind the bar was possibly the nicest man that I've ever had the pleasure to meet (he has a big beard). I love this place so very much.

Awesome drinks and food. We’ve ordered 2 large spritz and 5 chicchetti and payed 11 euros - way cheaper than most places and the quality was top notch. The disadvantage though is limited amount of tables - barely found one on a Tuesday midday. The Barman is a showman. Leave him a tip and he will ring the glasses hanged by the ceiling while he is thanking you(even small tips do it - I did 40 cents once).

We were looking for a nice quiet spot for a quick refreshing beverage and a snack while "lost" in Venice! Everything was wonderful. In fact, after arriving back in the USA, i found the name by searching Leonardo da Vinci museum. We sat outdoors on the piazza. Indeed. A memorable experience from my trip to Venice. I hope if you visit -you, too, will enjoy a simple day at Arcicchetti Bakaro- be sure to try the Select Apertivo.

First time at this little cicceheti spot. Very popular place. Tried 3 cicceheti with a small spritz, was just over 5 euros. Really nice small place to pop by for a snack and a drink I think the spritz here is better than at Harry's bar, and better value too A worth while snack stop

Classic bacaro in Venice, close to the Univercity, so you can see many students there, but not only. Very friendly bartender with good English can help you to make a choice from a varaity of small sandwich-snacks. There are not so many different options, comparing to other similiar places, but they have a nessesary minimum and a good price list - 1€ per ciccetti and from 2 to 5€ per Spritz depends on the size. Plus you can eat your food as a local sitting on the stairs of the Univercity.

Great choice of cicchetti, prosecco, spritz. Friendly service, nice atmosphere - we stop here right after coming from the airport on the way from Piazzale Roma to the hotel/apartment and right before leaving Venice for the goodbye drink.

Possibly the nicest place in Venice for a spritz and cicchetti. The barman has a magnificent beard and an even better personality. He gave us a free cicchetto for giving him a compliment, and cleaned everything for covid, wore the masks the whole time and made friendly chit chat. Afterwards we said "how is it possible to be that nice?". The cicchetti are amazing and only 1 euro each. The staff are super nice too. You really think afterwards why other places aren't nearly as nice as this place. If I lived in Venice I'd go there every day. 10 out of 10 :)

During an afternoon walk, I saw a lot of people waiting for something to eat. I was quite curious and searched in internet, and found out that it is a famous Italian snack. And I guess if it's so good there's a lot of people waiting here. And I waited about 45 minutes for my turn. The food did not disappoint me. It's really delicious, and it's very cheap. 1€ for a slice of bread. It will be a great afternoon snack.

Wonderful place to eat local food treats! Often, you have to be in line because it is crowded with people waiting to order (there are no places to sit). But the time spent in line is absolutely worth it!

Amazing service and products! We arrived and the line was out the door for good reason! We ordered two medium spritz and 4 cicchetti. They were delicious! A great experience for our first time trying these items!

This place was on my list before we even arrived in Venice. As we came at the beginning of Carnival it was extremely busy over the weekend - very long queues! So we decided to wait til the Monday and popped there for lunch and it was much quieter. Such a variety of cicchetti for 1euro each and crazy cheap drinks. It definitely lived up to expectations.

$1 cichetti's are crazy good. They need more seats. This place is better than the more expensive restaurants.

Unique place. You get mini sandwiches which you can supplement with mini glasses of wine. Then you can choose to sit on the stairs to the canal. Cool experience. Good quality for good price.
