I got a lasagna and it was badass! I've had this preparation in different countries and is by far my favorite 😍 Salad was excellent!. The batter on the fried mushrooms is amazing 💕 our waitress was really keeping us happy (forgot her name). Come here! You won't regret it 💕

This used to be my favorite place to eat, but lately it has been going down hill. I understand that almost every place is short handed but the service on Thursday night was absolutely horrible. The waitress took the drink order another person at the table ordered sweet tea, she responded I can bring you packs of sugar and you can make your own sweet tea. I ordered tea with lemon and was charged extra for the lemon which they didn't do before. The food was barely warm when we did get it, and the waitress only stopped back by our table when we were done eating. The noise level made it hard to have a nice conversation too.

We’re just a couple of out of towners passing through Iowa. That’s when we stumbled upon “The Other Place.” Deceiving name if you ask me, nonetheless we still decided to give it a shot. Not bad! Mediocre American food perfect for your road-trip lunch stop. My Texan friend got the Longhorn. He said that “there wasn’t anything very longhorny about it, it just had bbq sauce… that was the extent of its texanness.” Then again he said that “Texans aren’t very well known for their burgers.” Fair enough. My friend and I shared a 12” hot honey bbq chicken bacon ranch pizza. After two slices we were full, granted we already ate a lot of beef jerky beforehand. The crust was thick, the cheese was heavy, the sauce was present and the chicken was chicken. Yummy! Glad we stopped in at this fine establishment.

Great food, great service and great beer! We stopped by on an overnight trip in Clear Lake and would highly recommend a stop. We sat at the bar because it was busy and had the best service. The onion rings hit the spot and the pizza was delicious! Great beer recommendations from the bartenders. Definitely will stop by again when we are in the area.

First.... The service at the bar is awesome! the waitstaff there are always super busy, but do try and give the best service possible at the tables. I did take some issue with the owner barking orders to staff while sitting at the bar doing shots with employees. As a business owner, I don't like to come a crossed as authoritative to my employees or allow my customers see me stressed. I want the work environment to be a fun place to come to work and feel safe, happy, wanted, and valued. I am not saying he didn't provide those, but that he really did make me as a customer uncomfortable and what I saw was his employee also uncomfortable. I will absolutely come back.

Good was quickly and accurately and deliciously prepared. Our waitress, Emily, was amazing. Very attentive and great laugh. Our food (pork tenderloin with chips and burger with tots) was absolutely delicious and exactly as ordered. Chips are homemade! All in all, one of our best meals together ever. Super busy and yet food within 15 minutes! Noisy but in a nice way… families having fun. I understand the waitresses wearing shorts, however, maybe make sure no cheeks are hanging out. There are a lot of kids there. 90% were covered enough. That 10%was rough though. Lol

Great food but if you are in a large group, split up between tables and put orders in by table. We were first in to the seating and the rest of the dinning room got their food before we did. Tanner was an amazing server.

Nice atmosphere with a spacious dining room. Service was friendly and attentive. Portions are very large. The pork tenderloin is gigantic and delicious. The lasagna is a unique recipe and is also great. Good location on the main road off of the interstate so drive past the fast food places and go here instead.

I ordered the Pork Tenderloin and a side of onion rings.

Came in at 420 on a Monday night. The restaurant was not too busy. We ordered one pizza at 430. Waited and waited and waited some more. Finally the waitress came around and said your pizza is coming out really soon. 10 minutes later she came back again and said there is no reason for it to take this long. She said we'll discount the order for making us wait so long. Finally after 45 minutes we got our pizza. It was really good. Our bill was discounted which was a nice gesture. Our waitress was very nice and accommodating. The kitchen staff needs to show a little more effort. 45 minutes for a pizza on a slow night was ridiculous.

I ordered wings and chef salad. Wings were big and sauce was good. Should’ve ordered them crispy. Wings were good. Chef salad was good. I ordered to go. Order was correct. Had a small issue at pick up but over all a good experience.
