Definitely putting it on our date night list of restaurants to go to. I had the snails trio for starters. I will definitely order it again. I had the platter for one. I asked for everything fired, but I was told that they don't serve it fried. I was sceptical... But took the chance and said what the heck.. Let's try it. Wow. I really enjoyed it. It was delicious. For dessert I had the crème brulee which was also very good. Can't wait to go again and try some other options on the menu. The staff is also very friendly, competent and attentive. Thanks.

Wonderful ambiance. Exceptional food. Interesting that is it close to busy roads, but I could hardly hear the sound of cars. The food was very well prepared and absolutely delicious 😋. I would pay this place a visit again 😀 when I'm that side of town.

Impeccable service from our waiter, she was extremely attentive and friendly. The food portions are quite generous and delicious. Reasonable prices, our bill was around R1.3 for 4 persons, and we had the starter platter for 4, mains and 3 drinks each so definitely not a bank breaker. Great for groups or dates, good atmosphere all in all

It was my 1st time there, I booked a table yesterday bcoz I didn't know if I can just pop in or not, I was treated like royalty as we walked in they were like "Ms Happy Hi!", before I could even tell them my name,good location, more than enough parking space, good atmosphere,I liked the water feature. Staff members are professional, helpful & friendly. Gary was our waiter he was respectful & friendly, we are definitely going back there.

The food was very good.... The service was super poor... Waited 19:30 to 21:10 for dinner was starving..... Prawns cook quike.... They need to improve on been faster in kitchen.... As people come there to eat... Not wait... Not sure if I'll go back....

What lovely service, very friendly staff. Efficient and fast. The food was absolutely delicious, good quality and good value for money. The decor inside is beautiful and the garden outside is lovely. There is also a play are for kids. A must on the list of to do things. Will definitely be back.

Excellent service. Steak was prepared as asked, juicy and tasty. Service was excellent. Seating was clean and modern. The bill was fair and considering the net experience, very good value for money. Rio Sol still has a special touch after many years of being in the Vaal.

Hubby and I had our 40th wedding anniversary there today. Wow what a wonderful experience. Table in a semi-private area, beautifully set. Food was excellent, service was excellent. The most friendly staff we ever had at a restaurant. And a very sweet totally unexpected surprise at the end of our meal. Thanks Rio Sol for the complementary ice cream on a beautiful decorated plate, wishing us a happy 40th anniversary. You guys are awesome.

Think Rio Sol used to have a branch is Sandton, which we loved. This was no different. Great food, great prices, excellent service. Great way to spend an afternoon on their patio.

Went for a business lunch, great experience all round. Great food with extensive menu at very reasonable prices. Fantastic service and amazing sitting outside under the trees. Highly recommended.

Terrible service. Order a chicken snitzel got no cheese sauce. Ask 3 waiters for sauce. Nothing. Order a drink. Never got it. Guest what. The drink is on the bill but no drink was brought. Really. Get better waiters please. He would have been given a nice tip seeing that it xmas day

Usually a excellent restaurant with great food and service but they really dropped the ball with their Christmas lunch, waited ages for drinks ordered that I still have not received, half the table got their food and the rest not. And then they expect me to pay for the food and drinks I did not receive. Very disappointed. Was a regular but doubt I will be back

Great restaurant, great vibes both inside and outdoors. Their cocktails are beautiful and delicious. The food is amazing. Great portion sizes for the price. Loved every moment of my visit to Rio Sol on my birthday. My waiter Ryan was very nice. 5 stars for Ryan! (Visited 3/10/2020)
