Old-school American diner vibes inside complete with decorative wallpaper and diner benches. The menu is extensive catering for all tastes and flavors and some items provide good value, surprisingly the drinks, with a milkshake selling for R25. Burgers are made up of thick white bread slices instead of buns. 🍔 There's a play area for kids as well with a green grass carpet underneath.

We had a sit down dinner and was very satisified with the professional and friendly service. The prego roll and chips were delicious and I also had a large Bar One milkshake which is an instant winner.

Service could do with some work but the food I great. Great junk food to fill the tummy.

The place is very comfy more like chill vibes It's a great place to take kids because there is a play area and quite fun....so the atmosphere is a ten and the food is delicious so gooooood I would go there all the time.....ohh the service is good and the waiters are fast and very caring to be frank...go and check it out for yourself and tell me what you think...trust me you will enjoy it

Burger wasn't great but thats still fine, been going to Burgerbox for 30 years (not again after this) but the big surprise was paying almost R50 for chips with the hamburgers that could not have been more than 1 or maybe 2 large potatos worth of chips. At other places you can get a family box of chips for that price. This was a total rip-off

I waited over 45 minutes for a cheeseburger and a hotdog. The waitress didn't let me know it would take that long nor did I even see her between taking the order and getting the food after the 45 minutes.

Absolutely pathetic! I had to wait OVER an hour for one pizza! Their excuse is the Sunday lunch is holding up the ovens. Then DON'T put anything else on the menu!

Ordered milkshakes, horrible, something is wrong with the ice cream. Chicken burgers was not on standard, (not what we were used to) just patty in bun, and nothing else. We will defnitely not be visiting again.

Had salad forr lunch but the plates were dirty looked liked they just rinsed the plates of and made our salad in it... Had to pay the full bill the manager never even came out to ask... Was disgusting

What is going on at the Burger Box. The chicken Mayonnaise no Mayonnaise on the bread. Ask for cuppaccion with cream and one with foam get 2 with foam after complain no cream is available. I am disappointed.

Big juicy beef burgers

It was my first time to be in this place. It has left an indelible memory in me. The Roadhouse is in the main road that links the north ( JHB etc) and the south ( Sasolburg etc). The parking space is safe and adequate. Food is of a high quality and fresh. The staff is very friendly, welcoming and professional. In terms of food variety, one is spoiled with quality of choice.

Good food made awesomely good, I was there last in 1998 when I got my first car. Took my 14 year old daughter for pizza and milkshake, its even better than I expected. Now I just have to take my son for a Blondie. Before he gets his first car. Prices are reasonable considering they still make the pizza filling thinker than the crust

The milkshake and crumbed mushrooms are just as extraordinary 👌 the only problem that ai do have, when you go there at 9-10 in the morning they are not ready to serve pizza. This happened to me more than once. I don't like going to Vereeniging, so when I am there I'll go to Burger Box and then come home. But in my opinion, the pizza is the best in the Vaal at this moment 😋 👌 just don't go too early during the day.

Ordered toasted steak burgers. It was a patty with a very tough, very thin slice of dry steak. The slices of bread was so thick, you couldn't eat it without a knife and fork. Overall very disappointing and very pricey! Would not recommend!

The food was OK but not the rest rooms was the most awful place I entered in all my life it was dirty it smelled its clearly not been cleaned in a few days conditions was inhumane....... couldn't even take my son in there and that's my reason why I was there in the 1st place......so if your rest rooms so dirty how clean is your kitchen where you prepare meals for customers

Good place for eating out with affordable variety of food to buy. Has a nice parking & offers options to order from your car and food served at the parking if you don't wish to sit in the dinning area. The dining are is very awful with broken chairs and not very clean. Has a play room for kids

I dont think I've ever eaten at a table that dirty and sticky. No one offered to clean or wipe the table. The bathrooms were disgusting. No soap 9r anything to dry 9nes hands and the bathroom smelled horrible and there were flies everywhere. Food was good but we were really surprised that one of us got sick judging by the rest of the place.

Experience was DISGUSTING!! I waited 20minutes for a cup of coffee and another 5 minutes for a sweetener. The food arrived iced cold on a cold plate and took another 10minutes to get back to the table. The quality of the food was not great at all.The lady who served us spent more time on her cell phone than actually trying to make our experience better. I WILL NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN!!

I can't believe what I went through, when I go there inside the restaurant I was given a dodgy menu to order from, then the Waiter forgot about me, I went to the counter to place my order then I waited again, then came to me and said something was not delivered from yesterday after spending close to an hour waiting I said let me go to KFC and spend my money there once and for all, the service standards have dropped dramatically. Wish I could give 0.000001 star. The last time Burgerbox will see me. Unfortunately I always enjoyed their food hit after tonight I am highly disgusted. The pork ribs were more chewy than RIBBER!!! The rice was harder than bone. Seriously you pay half a leg to enjoy your food... but the only part I enjoyed was the chips, not even the salad was tasty. I guess they made it fresh this morning and stored it in sauces in the fridge. I could've just as well went to spar and get more tasty food for less.

I also wish to give 0.0 stars. We were there last night. Had the best milkshake but when my food arrived the calamari were smelling funny and when returned to the kitchen they confirmed that it was rotten so they gave me a hamburger instead. I decided to take it home seen that I lost my appetite. When getting home, I ate one half of the hamburger before noticing that there were hair in the bun which was probably cooked like that! NEVER GOING THERE AGAIN.

Its a fun place to experience with friends and family. They have a play area for children and their prices are affordable.
