Came for a brunch before shopping. Food was excellent. Decent sized coffee mugs too. Attentive manager. Would highly recommend them. 👌🏻

Dimakatso was ready to help me the moment I stepped into the door. She kew the menu item from the top of her head and made sure she got my order right. I could quickly get a takeaway and pay without any hassles. She gave me the free wifi pin and patient with me. It's always nice to have friendly service after a long week. I always like to come here. I had a very lovely time. I came in to work on my laptop and was seated in a very comfortable booth with a plug point. I'm very happy with my waitress Palesa for helping us and give us great serves. The Mangaer Rayno was so kind and professional. The food was exquisite and well perpaid, everything was fresh. Overall a wonderful experience.

Love this sauce, loved the waitress good energy- Palesa was world class. Vegan fry up is great.

Went to Mugg & Bean yesterday for some brunch and ordered two cake slices for takeaway. I got home to find that the cheesecake slice was half the size! What a disappointment, since I've ordered a cheesecake slice before and NEVER was it like this. It's just sad because Mugg & Bean is known for their delectable cake slices and this time round I was let down, especially for the price paid...but the service and atmosphere in the restaurant overall was very good!

The food was AMAZING!!! And so was our waitress, Ellah - she was friendly and super helpful. She got everything right that we asked for - really good service, thank you Ellah 🙂

Had a fun experience at Mugg & Bean Riversquare.... Went out for breakfast. I was served by Dimakatso,, she is a lovely lady and made the experience more enjoyable. I'll be back for more delicious food 😋

Very high quality food with different varieties to choose from. The Coffee is absolutely astonishing and that is why most people come here and don’t get me started on the cake’s. Mug n Bean really do put a lot of effort in to make you feel at home and always fills your stomach with delicious food and the service here is very professional and friendly. Modeihi was very quick to serve us with a big smile and asked us frequently if we needed any service. Great waitress!

Waitress Maria, was friendly and service was speedy. The chicken strips was abit dry. Atmosphere is nice and quiet,except for the flies.. Otherwise excellent service!!!

What a lovely branch! Food and beverages were so delicious. The service from the staff was also exceptional, from start to finish. Our Waitron, Mamo, was incredible with giving suggestions on the menu and possible add-on options for our meal. The manager Sarah was also very friendly and checked in to make sure we were enjoying our experience.

The chocolate cake is dry and tastes like its been on the shelf a few days. Second time buying the rich chocolate cake at the River Square branch and like the first time i am disappointed.

Sarah and Palesa are definitely in the right industry. Their hospitality is unmatched and they are the kindest and sweetest staff I have met in the hospitality industry. They were attentive at the right times and were quick to observe if anything was needed. They definitely have a passion for their work and it was refreshing dealing with them. The food portions were generous, well presented and it was fresh and tasty. Overall 10/10 experience.

My word the Wild Jerk rice was absolutely wonderful , I have long since tried a new dish and enjoyed it as much as I did this one. I would highly recommend it. Thankyou to David ( manager) and our friendly waitress Maria for your awesome attitudes and service. You will definitely see us again. Kim

Not a bad M&B. Service was good from the waiter and quality of the food was also good. There menu has slightly down scaled in recent years, so the selection is not as broad as it used to be. Prices of the food are getting towards the expensive side for "coffe shop" meals. There coffee is still great.

Ellah, the hostess, was incredible! As I sat down and noticed the air-conditioning was too cold, she repeatedly turned it off and then seated me in an area where it was more comfortable. Very attentive and accommodating. The food came without delay and was tasty. Ellah is a great asset to this restaurant.

I just had a heavenly breakfast at Mugg & Bean, River Square.... tried the Blueberry Bacon bagel with cream cheese and crispy bacon..... so amazing.... can really recomment it...... and Selina, our beautiful waitress was friendly, efficient and so helpful.... what a great start to a Sunday morning....

Palesa was very friendly and professional in assisting me with my takeaway. The restaurant has an inviting atmosphere. Perfect for business meetings or for dates.

Really bad mug and bean food was still frozen. This is the second time we have tried this mug and bean and the disappointment is greater the second time around. Managers reaction to a complaint was simply "I will make sure it doesn't happen again". This in no way made my food any better

On Sunday morning 17 July a friend and myself visited the 3 Rivers branch. The sweetest lady Nthombi assisted us. She was so helpful and every so friendly. She really made our stay so nice. The service was excellent anf your guy Davis was just as good. They are to be recommended. Thank you.

The waiters were very friendly, more than willing to make our time as pleasant as possible. A friend of mine and I arrived around the lunchtime rush so it was a bit too loud, the waiters were more than willing to adjust the volume of the music for a quieter environment. The food was also fresh and the coffee amazing.
