Absolutely a fantastic hotel and resort. Service and staff is fantastic and friendly.

Peaceful & classy golf course. Staffs are very friendly. But a bit far from JHB, and sometime confusing directions. Getting a little lost moving between halls.

The golf course greens are in a terrible condition When I called to make the booking I was assured that the greens and course are in good working order I brought 5 friends to play and was horribly disappointed in the conditions of the greens After speaking so highly of the course to my friends I had to leave red faced Then to make it worse post the round engaging to other groups we discovered that the “low” rate we paid was double what others were charged Very disappointed 😡

Beautiful outdoor atmosphere, tranquility on the banks of the famous Vaal River. The place offers accommodation, dining or relaxation. The staff is friendly and efficient and the food is delicious. Well done!

Great place

Really enjoyed a great round of golf at Riviera on Vaal yesterday. The sun was just rising over the course with an early 7am tee off. I absolutely loved the holes along the river banks and the greens were quite fast. Will definitely be back for another round soon.

It's a very nice & great place for events and stay in as well.

After a day's work I decided to get outside and we went for pizzas at the Riviera on Vaal Country Club. .. it was magic. The pizzas was of the best I ever had (thin base) and the change of the mood over the golf course with the river in the background just turned my mood ... perfect romantic setting.

Always a great time on the pitch and putt. The course is well maintained and requires quite a bit of thought - I'm not sure if that's just for amateur though.

The layout is good but thr course is very dry at the moment.

Don't bother booking times for golf , if you get there they tell you thay you have to wait. Tee'd off 45mim after our booked time cause they dont know how bookings and cart reservations work. Staff not very friendly in the pro shop.

Run own and neglected. Maintenance lacking. Raw sewerage flowing through the streams on the course. Used to be a great place years ago. What went wrong??

A beautiful place in vaal with some nice music from this awesome lady, good food with good service and a clean environment, I had a good time ❣️❣️🥰🥰🥰, I highly recommend it but I wish they can have free WiFi for their daily customers & not limit it to only residents

Really disappointed. The fairways are not fairways just uncut deep rough. Grass cuttings thT have been done lie around as hazards. The greens are awful. Such a shame as it could be a very nice course. I will NEVER return.

Useless!! Booked golf, carts, got to the course after driving an hour to get there and were told that our cart is out already!

Amazing view and a nice quiet and relaxed atmosphere. Right next to the river with enough parking space. Food in the restaurant is also first class! Staff is friendly and helpful.

Meals delicious that was served and we enjoyed every minute of our stay at this engagement lunch program.The pastors were very impressed and preached living messages.

Had a great time looking over the river sipping on a few glasses of wine. Would highly recommend

The room that we had smelled of mould the tub when u open water black particles came out when we came we were told there are fully booked but we had already booked and paid on line. My whole body was itchy all night there were spider webs in the room this was our 1st and last time

Nice place, But when it came to the dining, we were forced to order buffet because apparently the hotel was fully booked which meant that the kitchen didn't have capacity to cater for day visitors. Their buffet wasn't the best. Maybe next time I'll get an opportunity to try something different.

The area is which it is situated in is extremely beautiful. It is nice to come and relax with your family but some areas like the swimming pool are only for people residing in the hotel. There is a bar and a restuarant but the restaurant is obviously not halaal.

Had breakfast at the hotel. Massively overpriced (R175) and very average food. You’re better off at Spur.
