Convenient, clean, excellent location but falls a bit short on quality electronic stores. The big banks have all returned. Restaurants are mainly mainstream business and not too good. Car guards can be a bit of a hassle especially if you don’t have change and I would have preferred formal mall guards to regulate mall parking security. Lots of parking available. Recycle bin for glass and old computer equipment.

The mall is losing some of it's shine with the Cinema having closed down, but it's still a great place to go for a quiet drama free shopping experience

It's never crowded here, makes the shopping experience a whole lot more peaceful. There's no McDonalds nor is there a Typo here but it still has all you need and more. Be sure to Visit the Mugg & Bean there. Their Salads 🥗 and Benedicts are to die for!✊🏽😩

Grew up in this town known this mall from scratch to the way its now. Its a place to be for everyone. I must say lots of changes. Very smart place for clothing, shopping ,gambling,restaurants and so more go have a look on interesting things in Crazy store.

This is the only shopping mall in Vereeniging. It is a small facility, but most of the well-known stores can be found in the mall, as well as one or two small coffee shops and specialist stores. Parking is adequate, but there is no undercover parking. River Square is conveniently located near the hospital, gym and schools. The supermarkets are not always adequately stocked and I have often had to drive elsewhere to find what I need.

River Square is not what it used to be about 10 years ago. It's more of a shopping center than a mall now. Back when I was at school (primary and high school) River Square was the place to be, but now not so much👎 They have done some renovations in the past years, but they don't seem to be helping. I don't know what it will take to put it back on the map again. Stores are closing and there is no more entertainment for both young and old.

I went to pick & pay shopping centre to buy groceries. The lines where offline , after spending an hour getting everything i need, i couldnt pay my bill with my credit card? I left after they asked me to stand aside so they can help the other clients? Im dissapointed. How cant i use my card but they advertise specials for this weekend...

Honestly this place used to be the heart of three rivers. In the last few years I've just watched the mall get worse and worse. If you have some extra petrol just go to the vaal mall

Great shopping experience at River Square (RS). Great for Banking as well. No long queues there...Beside shopping, the vicinity offers great convenience i.e. Medical Centre, Petshop, Florist.

One of the cleanest and well displayed shopping mall. It used to be a one stop shop that originally had all shops. Now electronics shops ALL the major banks are there within reach with friendly and helpful security guards around especially at FNB and Standard bank...security safety feeling and presence of SAPS vans at late hours is much appreciated.

A good experience to shop here. In the peak time of the month you can walk in this mall without feeling claustrophobic. In comparison with Vaal mall I will rather shop at River Square.

Looks like Riversquare is preparing for big things soon. Finally all food stores are indoors. There's even a PNA opening soon. Pity only after back to school shopping is done, but Mall looks good again

Such a big mall does not have a generator at this day and age. Come on, businesses are bleeding and the landlord is happy just to collect rent at the end of the month. Disgusting.

Checkers warehouse has the worst teller to customer ratio with long queus and for ever very few tellers to serve customers. It is a disservice to have such an awesome array of goods, massive store and supplies but so few checkouts. This has been a complaint of many for many years without a change in the philosophy. I will continue to support opposition for this reason

Turn N Thunder, also a restaurant of high scale. Service great, and the atmosphere, people enjoying themselves. Blacks and Whites just enjoying themselves. I even saw an interracial relationship. I was jealous of a black sister as she was just fine.

Great place to get something in a hurry, Not the same as it always was ,less shops than there used to be ,wouldn't reccomend for dates unless you just want a quick date at spur or wimpy. For all the old timers or just someone who wants to blow of steam ,there is a Bingo.

A decent Mall with some of the big names stores e.g Woolsworth, Pick n Pay, Mugg n Bean etc but there also alot of C class shops too, which can narrow your selection of goods. It has a bit of everything e.g home ware, sports shops etc. Be warned there no entertainment (except Bingo) here in the likes of Cinema's or drinking spots.

I love the atmosphere, it's quiet, clean and peaceful. Woolworths why did it close the other entrance from Pick n Pay side,now I have to go all round to get to Pick n Pay.

Petco is only out to take your money. No slip when you make purchases during loadshedding but beware, they have a return policy of 7 days which nobody tells you about, including the manager, and since they don't give you a slip, you will not be able to return anything you purchase from them. With loadshedding most of the shops cannot take cards. This you only get told at the till. So you need to go draw cash...Some shops have no lights so was unable to shop insite. All credit to Milady's having lights and an inverter to serve the customers.

Oh my, they have downgraded so much over the years, seems like they are picking up again, I do hope so though, not alot of interesting places anymore, and thee ones that is there has gotten very expensive

The Mall is clean, has visible security guards who friendly and very helpful cause it was my first visit I did not know my way around the mall and they were happy to assist.

I really hope that the current renovations will have a positive effect. River Square has been going downhill for a while, with too many shops closing their doors. Maybe your rental rates need to be reconsidered? What about the cinemas? Last time I checked they, too, were boarded up....

I have a pleasant experience everytime I go to River Square. It's not crowded and it has everything you need all in one place.

Could be the worst shopping mall ever. I’ve tried calling their center management for 3 days now - all I get is reception river square is unavailable. I’ve tried calling standard bank at this same terrible mall and get the same message. I guess things are extra slow in the vaal.
