Beautiful views of the fjord from rooms. The rooms were spacious. Breakfast was good but dinner did not have many options to choose from if you are not part of the reservation. Its 1.1km away from Sandefjord station. So you can walk through the city towards the fjord.

You know when you are in classy place when tge manager is greeting you as his guest, Jan and his team are truly hospitality professionals that do it with their heart and high class, the best I have experienced in Norway, a must if you want to feel like a good 5 start hotel in Sandefjord , plus the decor is exquisite, not to mention the breakfast that won the second best hotel breakfast in Norway, for all my stays around the nordics I would say its the best period

Great hotel with the best breakfast! Simply amazing! I really enjoyed my stay and staff was very helpful. Especially for a business travel when guests have a long travels they are very helpful and doing best to make sure guests get all what they need.

One of the best Scandic hotels. This must be the best hotel breakfast in Norway. Omelette station. Fresh pancakes. Four types of salmon. Porridge. Oats. Loads of freshly cut fruit. Yoghurts. Fresh squeezed orange juice. Chocolate milk. I have stayed here multiple times and will continue to do so. Just great 👍

We were in a very spacious Junior Suite. There were two rooms in the suite - one served as the bedroom and the other as living room. We had a bathtub. And of course, the hotel has a heated pool in the basement. The space, the tub and the pool made our stay perfect for the kids. Will definitely go back for another short vacation. (The picture shows the view from our Windows.)

Although the hotel looks good, don't be fooled by its entrance. I don't know why, I was treated like a second class person and was pushed into a room where dozens of rooms were lined up with an odor that disturbed my lungs and there was no ventilation.

Good hotel with a fabulous breakfast. But quite annoying they only start serving breakfast at 7 o'clock, expect breakfast to be served from 6 o'clock in a business hotel.

This is considered the best hotel in Sandefjord and it's a popular place for meetings and events. It has a nice pool area and a decent gym. In general the hotel is ok and perfect location. Unfortunately as many assets around these days it lacks general maintenance, from carpets, elevators and rooms to deserve more than 3 stars.

My favorite hotel. The food is fantastic, the rooms are classy and nice. Service is great. They also have a swimming pool, gym, sauna, bar and a lot of conference rooms. A great location to stay in the summer with a lot of activities right by the hotel.

Nice rooms and most of the time friendly staff. I’ve stayed now 3 times at this hotel. The breakfast is amazing, sadly it starts at 7:00 during weekdays, leaving little room to eat for the guests who have work in the morning, I wish they had some more limited early bird type of breakfast like some hotels in Norway have. Last stay something caused me to get a very bad headache, which was gone as soon as I left the hotel, but that could very well be unrelated to the hotel. If the company hadn’t paid for my stays I would find something cheaper, the price and quality of the hotels do not match. I’ve stayed in hotels that cost half as much and have been more luxury, but the breakfast can make up for some of the amenities if you have time to stay and eat.

This hotel was once a high end hotel and probably one of the best hotels in the country; back when it was built. Lately it has become like most other hotels and the elegance has faded considerably. To the point that most of the luster has disappeared and lack of services and the product itself has lost its appeal to a large degree. More or less nonfunctional internet, promising free internet that hardly could download an email. I was not able to use it for anything (!) Very poor room cleaning, all they did was emptying a trash can the second day..... unfinished poorly mounted curtains to shade the room for nighttime and sleeping. Nowhere to hang the rather small towels or bathrobes in bathroom or in the room. They also tried to make me accept a standard room when I had paid for a superior room. In all I was not at all happy with the way this was handled. My other earlier stays with Scandic chain has given me similar poor impressions. Especially when I think of the attention to details from Asian and American hotel chains compared to this, where the guests an attention to details are much more in focus. And being in the same line of work I can say their quality control seems to be lacking seriously on important, but not really expensive details. This should not be necessary taken into account the price level one is facing, when visiting Norwegian hotels! And again, promising free internet that hardly can download an email is a not internet as intended....

Some of the rooms are too small, almost nothing in it but teo single befs, depresding and walls are not isolated for noise. Generally i am not fan of two small beds in the hotel room. If you are a couple, it would be a very unpleasant situation for you. But there is a ni e swimming pool and a very good gym at this hotel .

Hotel great location. Great swimming pool. Room not ready when arrived and waiting 45min not really fair this was after official check in time. No parking or arrangements for it this was left to me to find out and was expensive compared to other hotels in the area

Old but very nice hotel in the harbour in Sandefjord. Location coudnt be better. Everything you need is near by and in walking distance. Great thing is the hotel spa. Swiming pool, sauna and possibility to have a massage but you need to pre-order it. We had an superior room which had a great view and it was pretty spacecious. No problem at all. Hotel is old but still very nice. I did enjoy an historical touch Breakfast was really good! Great selection of all the food. In the weekends there is an extra chef making just omelettes to order - breakfast top every day of our stay.

Terrible place! I was in the quarantine unit and for three days no one cleaned the room! The food that was of very poor quality was thrown in front of the room like animals. No access to fresh air! No air conditioning or ventilation. They made me pay for 4 days stay because due to a mistake of the staff I was misled about the term and the way of the test and I had to wait 10 hours more. NEVER AGAIN SCANDIC!

Family room was huge. Very clean, friendly staf, excellent breakfast. 😊 Except for the swimming pool and area, too cold for a 3 years old. Since we went to this hotel mainly for the pool it was important for us. 😔

This hotel gives feeling of grandeur. The stately building, reception area and restaurant makes one silently gasp in awe when entering the hotel. Fantastic location close to Colourline port and town. Easy to find public parking close by. My room in the new wing was elegant and comfortable. It offer a scenic view of the town. The large and soft pillows made way for a nice Zzzzz. The breakfast buffet was a feast for the eyes but was not such a great experience as it got too crowded. The spread looked like a feast but lacked in taste. Having a jammed packed feeling early in the morning took some of the magic away from the stay. The speed at checkin and checkout need some improvements to speed things up instead of a single long snaking queue.

Very nice spot, personnel extremely helpful. Breakfast very nice with a lot of choices. My room was rather small but in general hotel facilities were OK and clean which is the most important.

Nice hotel. Rooms are clean and relatively big, staff is friendly, breakfast is very fine; the have a breakfast buffet. The only downside is parking. Parking near the hotel is 250Dk (€25,-) per night. If you want to park for less money you'll have to walk a few hundred metres. It won't kill you, but this could be better.

Not a good place, I was in quarantine and the food was average and it was lying on the floor where everyone walks by and big problems with the internet so better have yours if you want to watch something
