I have been seeing Dr. Peck for over 20 years. He is a great doctor. I have read reviews that are negative simply because of his staff. Personally I have never experienced this while there and have always been treated well. Another negative review was posted complaining about him no longer taking their insurance. This happened to me recently so while there I asked him why he had decided to drop EyeMed (which is my provider). His answer surprised me a great deal. Apparently EyeMed was charging him MORE than he was billing his patients, meaning that he was actually losing money by accepting their insurance. I’ll admit that I don’t fully understand all of the details but I can only assume that the negative reviewer never even bothered to try and understand why he dropped their insurance, choosing to just leave a negative review instead. There are others whom have complained about both the quality of their contact lenses and the time it takes to receive them. Again, not really knowing all of the details - as well as not being a contact lens wearer - I would guess that the lenses are not being manufactured at MVC. Perhaps this individual should instead target the manufacturer for their faulty lens. Additionally I feel that the review from Midwest.one2 can be completely disregarded simply because the individual does not even use their real name choosing instead to hide their true identity. I feel that reviewers that want to hide their identity leave completely useless reviews.

Always welcoming and attentive. Employees know their jobs and excel at them. Very helpful with any questions and helping pick the right frames.

I arrived a couple minutes late, I was worried like most places, your placement would have been cancelled and I would have to setup another time and date for an eye exam. The front end name i believe Mary, so kind and helpful. She never cancelled my appointment and I was able to do my eye exam with no worries. To top it all, before I setup to do an eye exam, I was able to preselect a set of frames i wanted, held till I do my exam, and instead of having to select a set of frame, all I had to do is say I have a set already picked out and is in holding in the back. They were able to split my payment so I paid more then half now, and the rest when my glasses arrives. They even gave me a paper with my prescription so if I wanted to, I can order a backup online. Very very helpful and everyone has soft spoken words. The exam was quick, painless lol, only took 30ish minutes. Of course being the holiday, my glasses might take awhile to arrive, that's ok for me. I will comeback to them for my eye exam updates.

The selection of glasses is no good, they tell you one week for glasses and takes two weeks, I didn't see the doctor. Took my own prescription and I probably won't go back there, all the frames are overpriced, and they try to add fees. Be warned before you go to Midwest vision clinic. Try calling and you get a message, you push a number they tell you then they transfer you, to the another number, or leave a message, 4 or 5 receptionist and they can't even answer the phone...

My family has been going here for years. My experience was: they got me in quickly and were very nice every step of the way. My glasses were very reasonable. My son loves the glasses he got. The staff were very helpful. They explained everything to me. No surprises. We had some frames get bent and they fixed them like new. I am very pleased. 😃
