We loved the wine and food tasting, everything was amazing and the hosts are very friendly! It’s all homemade and fresh, delicious! What a beautiful place, we are so happy we went! The wines are truly special, taking you on a journey. They are all organic and produced with traditional methods by passionate wine makers and you can tell. The food with the tasting was great, too. Quite frankly, the zucchini marmalade deserves a 5 star review on its own. The location is beautiful and full of love as well, as is everything here. I highly recommend visiting this lovely place and spending some time, enjoying the wines, food, and beautiful location, you won't regret it.

Amazing biodynamic wine producer! We had a great chat with a very knowledgeable person who worked there about the wines, the family who make it, the region, renovations of the estate, and more. They had amazing knowledge! We enjoyed local produce alongside some sparkling and still rose. Both great. They also have some sheep, chickens, ducks, cats and a dog! Highly recommend a visit here.

Five-star venue, staff and vibes. Umbrellas and tables make a beautiful set up. Also family-friendly. Delicious nibbles come with the 30€ tasting. All the wine is somewhere between biodynamic and natural. If that is your jam, this is your place all around!

It was a marvellous experience to enjoy the vine and food at this beautifully located vineyard. The service was really warm and nice and the food was to die for. Of course, the highlight was the delicious types of vine and the animals that were there, namely three adorable cats and a lovely dog. I would definitely recommend this to annyone who is looking for a unique vine tasting session.

Did a tasting here with Mateo, great natural wines with a wonderful ethos. Also obsessed with their pickles from the garden! Great views from the top of the vineyard and the winery itself is stunning!

Yesterday, we enjoyed the total tasting, including a tour of the vineyard. All in all, we were more than satisfied and would recommend the visit to our friends and family. Throughout the whole experience, including the first (fast and super-friendly) contact via e-Mail, the informative tour and the tasting itself with well chosen local products there was not much to improve. The English of the guide was very professional and easy to understand. The food can be a dinner if you are not super hungry. If you’ve been hiking the whole day and you didn’t have lunch, then it might be too little for you. Also, we thought it might be fair to note, that the toilet is on the third floor (no elevator). This might be a problem for some people. Thank you very much for the experience and good luck with the planned expansion of your business!

We visited Villa Calicantus on 17th June and very much enjoyed 3 hours or so of winery and vineyard tour followed by tasting of 5 wines with accompanying foods. Daniele and his family and pets were excellent hosts and it was very interesting to hear him speak with such obvious passion and knowledge about then winery, the vineyard and his produce and how he is striving to raise the standard of Bardolino wines. A lovely way to spend an evening a little away from the lake. Thoroughly recommended.
