The place is just located at it at the starting of the entrance of Varkala Beach , I ambience is great. Had ordered the lime soda which was arrived 30 minutes late. We were hungry so for lunch we had to come back because I liked the ambience . I ordered a simple chicken salad On which we waited for 1 hour 15 minutes and still no sign of salad , the service is so horrible even after requesting thousand times they wouldn’t keep an eye on their customers. Was just disappointing and just left the place and had to go somewhere else. If you have lot of time you might want to consider this place otherwise you can skip.

Excellent view,but food is just average. This is one of the restaurant in the beginning of the cliff. So people will enter here by seeing the view. But food is not good. Weekends they will conduct live music to attract people and 90% will fell in that😂 If you are like a person to sit in a good place and planning to order something very light, then go for this one

The cafe is located just near the helipad, offers good variety of coffee. If you are a coffee lover and want to have a good cup of coffee while enjoying the beach view, a must visit place in Varkala. Out of all the cafes, first cafe to open in the morning. The service was also decent, we also tried omelette here which was also good.

This bar café is located at the beginning of the cliff.. They have live bands on the weekends..quiet spacious..the food is horrible.. Burnt and dry food.. The atmosphere on weekends is pleasant only because of the live band..

Reasonable price, great ambience, food and service. Do visit with your friends and family, it's a great place to hangout and relax. I would visit again!

A nice located Restaurant near the Helipad in Varkala Beach. A cool and catchy name and a great entertainer who invited us in. We ordered several dishes (specially fish) and everything was brought to our table in an appropriate time and served with a smile. The view from the top was very enjoying. The food was delicious, the price totally fine (specially for us from Germany because of the currency exchange) and the ambience beautiful. At the weekends you have Live music. A must try dessert: Hello to the Queen!! We will come back the next time and invite everyone to try. If you approach with a good heart, good things come always back!!

Avoid! The only thing that works for this place is the view of the ocean. We sat at the table and no one came for 10min, i had to physically go get a waiter. Next we ordered food, which started coming after 30min even though the place was not very busy. Have added a photo of the pasta they think is Aglio-e-olio, they don't even know the dish! You use Spaghetti pasta! The mango cocktail had some cheap mango syrup in it. The fries had no salt. Guys, just avoid this place!

What a great atmosphere at the Buddha bar café! This is the place to be, from Friday evening to Sunday evening, if you want to dance or listen to all genres of music, from techno to reggae! Only the atmosphere was good. Food were too mid, not worth their prices at all. They reel in customers who comes from beach to the cliff with flyers saying that there's a party which there won't be. The service was poor with staffs being rude and taking forever to bring in the orders.

Visited here for brunch and dinner. Very close to the beach access point. During brunch Chicken wasn’t available so I ordered a fish. The service was very good as both the waiter who interacted with us were very friendly and went to and fro a number of times to check on availability of Buddha Bowls, chicken steak, both of which weren’t available during brunch. My vegetarian wife had a vegetarian sizzler. My fish wasn’t hot and the taste was alright. We ordered the food without rice or fries. Later during the dinner, we again went here since it we walked a lot on the beach and this was closer compared to other famous restaurants. They had live music. We had sort of a candle light dinner. Wife ordered a Veg Thukpa and me a chicken steak and pineapple juice. Wife got a chicken thukpa instead of veg so we returned it and got it exchanged at no worry. I too had asked no mashed potatoes but still got it. The place was full so the chef must have been under pressure. We still liked the ambiance and loved the food. The order time though took a while. During brunch we waited an hour and during dinner as well. A little more maybe due to the wrong order.

This is a live music cafe so u get to experience a small live music concert which is really awesome. Food is just okay ,All the money is for the music and the ambience .Service here is really poor waited for more than an hour just for a roti.

Best hotel with melody music. Best part is they randomly sing TAMIL song . All the dish are perfect in taste wise and all the people's are very friendly type. Recommended ⭐

After a long walk on the beach Had good tasty breakfast today. Loved the masala chai here. Very scenic place. Very close to the beach. One can have coffee in the evening here and view the sunset . I highly recommend this place to have good food early in the morning. it's located close to the parking.

A nice cafe with a beautiful Ambience, tasty food and live music. They are the best people to celebrate your birthday at varkala. They literally made my day. Thanks to the singer there for his lovely music and the rest of the staff.

Worst service , takes 1hour to serve a normal breakfast. If your hungry and want to have a good breakfast this is not the place to go . The place was not clean , the chairs were so rusted it actually broke when i was sitting. Please don't choose this cafe because it's in the front of the cliff.

Really nice ambience but the service was horrible. Even though the place had very less Breakfast crowd, they took more than an hour to serve coffee. Food was average. The person who waited my table was impolite and unprofessional.

People flock in to this place as it is one of the first cafes as you enter the North Cliff and have live music playing in the evening to draw people in. Other than that, the food is bland and the service extremely poor. One might as well walk a little further to explore better cafes and restaurants, Clafouti being one. Beer was served in a cup with the identity of bottle unrevealed, I had asked for a Kingfisher but was served a local one. Chilli prawn was ok but then one doesn't shell out 400 Rs to have an ok tasting prawns. A cafe to be avoided at all cost. Will save you plenty.

Been here for beer, got disappointed. But for breakfast, it was good. Was only option available at 8 am functioning fully. Good variety of food options available at affordable prices and prompt service. Has a small bakery for sweet tooth people.
