A place to repeat. For the location of the place but especially for the treatment. I have felt at home in every way excellent food, help as much as possible ... I have no words. I only have one thing left pending an ayurveda massage that everyone spoke very well.

Very clean (top european standards) The owners are super friendly and helpful, they really care about their guests. Nice free extras like beach towels, sunscreen, mineral water. Highly recommended also for solo travelers, very safe!

Had a really lovely stay! The location is a short walk away from town attractions and seaside, the house and room was comfortable and well looked after. Hostesses were very welcoming, helped us with arranging massages, yoga and treated us to Spanish treats. Very warm stay and would definitely come back!

Great place, very clean and the service is superb! The owners were kind, helpful and always available for any need or request. We had a home-made Christmas dinner there with all the other guests and that was a wonderful experience.

If I had to come back to varkala, I wouldn't hesitate one minute in stay there again. It's a nice, clean and well located hostel, just fews minutes to the beach and the cliff. There's a great atmosphere due to the nice, fun and helpful women that run the hostel.

Me and my friend had a great experience at Casa eva luna. The owners are so helpful and giving such a good advice on things to do, where to eat, etc! We had amazing excursions organized from owners with great drivers as well! Also at Christmas they made a nice dinner for all the guests and brought us all together! The room was as described, clean and comfortable! Location great as well! Like 10’ walk from North Cliff so u get more quiet time as well:) if felt like family! Would definetely go back on my next trip.

We started our stay in Varkala with 4 nights and extended it to 9 nights for 2 main reasons Varkala is charming place and secondly hospitality of Kathrina and Esther is amazing. The place is clean, colourful and comfortable. The hostesses are always there when you need them to help advise, arrange or just chat. We had many lovely teas in the morning in the garden. If we stayed longer we would definitely try more of tasty dishes too! Location is good too - far from the crowds you can spot many exotic birds eagles and listen to the sounds We loved it all and will be happy to return!

I was planning to stay here for 1 week, but as soon as i got here, this place felt like home. Kat and Esther are the most welcomming hosts ever. The made this place into a true gem. The rooms were very clean, the breakfast and dinner were amazing. The also offer al different kind of treatments with experienced people. They truly want you to have the best experience ever. Very rare to find such a quiet, safe, clean, spiritual lodging in India with Ayurvedic medical treatments, gourmet healthy food, and very large bats flying around at dusk. The hosts are amazing!

Nice Homestay, cleanliness is great. Great activities like yoga Kerala massage you can enjoy here. Walking distance from cliff. Staff was very friendly and polite. Lovely experience.

Everything was perfect. The hosts were so hospitable and made me feel home right away. The rooms were clean and newly renovated. I stayed in one with a desk and aircon and highly recommend this room. It's generally a really quiet area in varkala. The wifi is really good as well which allows you to work from there and even conduct workshops and video calls. On top of that, Esther provides delicious breakfast and dinners - continental style. Thanks so much for everything, Kat and Esther!

As a repeat guest 5 times, I can only say that returning to Casa Eva Luna is one of the highlights of my year. My husband and I always look forward to the comfort and care provided by Katrina and Esther. From fun at temple festivals and concerts, to shopping tips, to obtaining medical assistance, everything is waiting for you in their clean and peaceful home. A nice change from the hectic pace on the cliff. And the little pool is a bonus on hot days.

The best Homestay experience I’ve had since traveling India . Very clean ; great neighborhood. It’s run by two fabulous women who have been established in Varkala for 15 years maybe more. So welcoming and helpful; especially an excellent experience as a female solo traveler. I kept extending my stay because the energy they cultivate here with care.

I came here last minute, I was traveling for work in Tamil Nadu and realized that I needed a break. From the moment I arrived, everything was perfect. The rooms are clean and quiet, the ayurvedic treatment put me back into shape, Esther and Kate were delightful hosts (and the meals prepared by Esther were delicious). Thank you!
