This is a nice shack like place which has a relaxing vibe and good food. We went with friends in the middle of the night to have dinner. We ordered a falafel platter and a tofu platter and a small pizza with egg fried rice and chili chicken. There are lots of options for vegetarians as well as non vegetarian options. The food was really good and the staff was really courteous and was very flexible towards customizing the food. The location is also supreme, right besides the Varkala beach. Overall it was a great experience.

Mamma Champos is one of the oldest restaurants in Varkala beach. Even though it is currently run by a new management, Should to say that they serve some of the best foods in Varkala. It is located near Papanasam beach, away from crowded North cliff. If you are a View seeker, place is not for you. Come and enjoy their food and service. Had Momos and Pizza. Never had anything tasty like this from Varkala during recent times. Staffs were friendly.

Love this place. Tried the Momos (had veg and potato-cheese), the tofu salad, vegan pizza and the veg stuffed Anbegines. Amazing! Also friendly staff. Portions are huge, better share. Vegan options available!

The food is pretty good but the service is very slow. Be prepared to wait. I highly recommend the spinach and cheese momos 🤤 the pizza is probably the best in India as well.

Mama Champos is outstanding! Not just for the delectable selections of food, but for the love & heart that goes into their service & attention to detail as well. I've been a regular visitor to this place for the last year, and I'll keep going back :) - I would highly recommend the veg dumpling soup & their signature lemon/mint cooler on a hot afternoon. This is by far the best restaurant in Varkala! My personal favourite!! When I don't want to take a chance and my being is craving for good food, it's here that i always find myself at. Raj and his family are extremely patient, kind and thoughtful, they always take special care in serving you. No matter how busy this place gets, food is always served on time and it's always freshly made and piping hot! I absolutely love their Veg Dumpling Soup. Falafel Platter, Lemon Mint Cooler, Grilled Veggies and Tofu, Matar Paneer, Eggplant Roll are some of my favorites from their menu. If you are in Varkala, and you want to treat yourself to a great meal, don't think twice and visit Mamma Champos! Highly recommended!👍🏻💕
