Most expensive place we stayed at in Portugal, but the only place with bedbugs, and I got bitten up all over. Not good.

Had an unpleasant experience at checking in. Horrible attitude and non accommodating. Research their policy before booking and paying in advance.

Excellent location in relation to the center and the way to Santiago. Far exceeds its stated three stars in terms of service and amenities. Comfortable room with king size bad and a lot of pillows:) I had the balcony and the view for the river and pool. It was sometimes a bit loud cause of big group of French guys, but most of the time it was quite peaceful. For complete happiness, I lacked only vegetables and salad for breakfast, but this is more of a recommendation, then complaining, as I definitely plan to return to this hotel again next year.

Good staff but very dirty bathroom (a lot of hair). Good breakfast for only 7€. For 40€ for one night it is quite acceptable.

On the second visit, there was no internet in the room at all. There are no vegetables for breakfast. Poor soundproofing of the rooms.

Positive points: privileged location, everything is close by, low cost, friendly and helpful staff, free parking spaces for guests and breakfast (not included). Negative point: the rooms do not have good acoustics, there was easily noise coming from neighboring rooms, especially in the bathroom.

On one end of the marginal is this honest hotel, were it's main point is value for money. The breakfast room has a good view of the surroundings.

Daniela from the front desk and Gustavo at the bar were great; breakfast is a must try.

Be aware at this hotel. I stayed here in September 2023. I left my phone in my locked hotel room while I got breakfast on the upper floor. The internet is always cutting out at the hotel (honestly, you'd get a minute before having to sign up again) so I made a decision to not take my phone as I knew I wouldn't be getting internet while at breakfast. When I came back, my phone was gone. I am sure it was stolen by one of the house keepers (it ended up in the hands of a reseller). I communicated with the hotel front desk upon check out, as well as followed up with 2 emails since we've returned to the US. In my communication, all I wanted to know was whose key was used to gain entrance within a time frame. I warned the hotel that I would be writing reviews based on their response of how they handled the stolen phone. I have not gotten any response from the hotel.

Lobby is nice and open. Staff is friendly. Breakfast was very good with a nice selection of bread, meat and cheese.

I stay here regularly for work trips. No great luxury in hotel but great location for me. Lovely town with good restaurants to search for.

This hotel has great possibilities, but, it just misses the mark. It looks very nice at first glance. Unfortunately, filthy carpeting ruined the overall impression. Staff is very friendly...

Ok, it started badly by making me wait over an hour to check in. Had I known, I would have gone out to eat lunch first. Instead , I was told it would not take long... Oh well... Anyway, the rooms were ok, but I didn't like the beds. Not very comfortable. I was also expecting a larger bed, not two twins. No fridge. But it was a cheap hotel, so, as far as value goes, it is worth it.

Nice hotel near the historical part of Viana do Castelo. The room was small but ok, simple, clean and well organized. Service was friendly and good! They have some free parking, but if it is not available other parking options are paid. They have charges for electric cars if you pay the parking space.

Clean, spacey room with modern bathroom, friendly staff, complete set of facilities (bar, swimming pool, etc.). The breakfast is great and served on the top floor with a magnificent panoramic view of Viana. One of those hotels that may not be the most luxurious but maintained with great care. Totally recommend.

My partner and I had an excellent stay here ! The hotel should have four stars ! We stayed in a room with the spa tub and it was wonderful .The bedding was excellent, there were extra pillows, towels and robes already in the room. We had a lovely balcony overlooking the river and the breakfast for only 6 euros was fantastic! With fresh pastries, eggs fruit and a variety of meats. The staff was very kind and helpful. I would absolutely recommend it.

Clearly the hotel has been recently renovated. Facilities are nice, simple, modern design. We stayed in a family room with bunks above the main bed which the kids loved. The pool is large with a beautiful lawn/lounger area next to the bar. The location is walking distance to the old town with a view over the bridge. Yes it is beside a fairly busy road but we didn't find it's problem. There is a limited amount of free parking in front of the hotel. Breakfast was a very nice buffet on the sixth floor. Service was friendly and welcoming. For the price we paid very good value. I don't understand why this is only a three Star hotel, presumably the lack of a restaurant. Definitely recommended.

Missing the basics: sound surpression and a good mattress so people can sleep

I give is 2 stars as the staff was friendly but that's about it. The room itself was quite gross with hair literally everywhere from the bed/pillow to the walls (not sure how it's even possible) to the floors to the bathroom sink/vanity and all over the shower. We didn't expect much for a €40 room and after reading all the good reviews, we thought it couldn't be that bad but it was.

We stayed two nights very clean hotel my only criticism would be there should be water in the rooms. Very comfortable.

I stayed one day at the hotel in the Park. Unfortunately my son had a fever and I had to leave the hotel and adopt safety protocols because of COVID 19. The hotel receptionist Daniela was very rude. They didn't do anything, much less were touched by the situation. I asked if they could give me a voucher, or make a refund. I'm never coming back to this hotel.

For a 3 star hotel it blew my mind, should've been more like a 4 star, amazing gym and access to the pool, staff is amazing, the only thing that I don't like is the fact that you can hear your neighbors, other then that it's an amazing hotel! You'll surely get blown away by the sights, nice proximity to the river and also you can see far ahead to the mountains, from the 6th floor where you eat breakfast.

Unfortunately for me I booked the wrong room in this hotel (I wanted the one with the kitchen). When I enter the "wrong" room I went to speak with the staff and he managed to change everything in 10s (of course I payed the difference). Everything was perfectly clean the room was amazing. It had all of the equipment that you need to cook there. We had to measure the temperature and I felt super safe. At night we wanted to have a drink and the staff made everything he can to make us happy (he wasn't a bartender). This person was lovely and the nicest guy ever. Thank you so much for the experience. I'll recommen to everyone and I will return to try the jacuzzi 👌

Friendly staff. Nice rooms, good situation to leave or arrive from the highway. Parking easily included with a cheap daily fee. Swimming pool with chill out area. My best choice is for their personnel. They are professional, resolutiva and educated and friendly

This is more noisy than a youth hostel. I chose this place hoping to get a good night's sleep but the noise from neighbouring rooms and corridor was too much. Also no water or kettle in the room
