My wife and I stayed at this remarkable hostel that is hosted by an equally qualified, remarkable hostess, Isabel. Our room was large, very clean, beautiful and the bathroom was the best that we had in two months of European travel. The grounds of the complex reminded us of an ancient monastery, yet it is quite new. We'd give it a 5+ rating.

This was a stop over on our Camino walk. Quite remote but what a place and what a hostess. We had a bottle of chilled wine in the garden before we were collected by the local chef and brought to his restaurant which isabelle organized . There was a bottle of port waiting for us on our return. Breakfast was amazing, could have fed a football team. It was fantastic value and a wonderful experience.
