What a random restaurant... it smells like sewage when you walk in and then to get any service is hard and with an opinion with everything you ask! Not even tomato’s they had... cos when I asked for the tomato and basil salad the waiter just said we don’t have this. We reserved a table for 8 and we were just 8 and then 2 friends that we met came to join us and this was the endgame for the waiter, he wouldn’t even sit them on another table, when we walked into the restaurant there was only one other table with a couple! In the end there was only 7 people, I left cos found the waiter rude and super unprofessional and the fact he said they didn’t have the most simple thing on the menu when the restaurant was pretty much empty! I don’t recommend this place! There are much better places with less rude staff! I never write bad reviews but this place was so awful that I had to!

Superb place for regional food and drinks , very affordable, all regional, looks like old tavern. The owner speaks very well English and French. Regional wine also available.This is the best place in EU to know and taste the best red wines in the world.

The real deal, very local, very friendly environment, excellent food and reasonable prices. Highly recommend.

Wanna try portuguese food at its best and for quite cheap? This is the place ! Service is impeccable and really nice. Beer is 1€ also. Everything is awesome, make sure to try it out

Fantastic restaurant! We ate here twice during our stay in Vila Nova de Fox Côa, and loved it. They serve local dishes, prepared with a personal touch and care about recommending the best food combinations. The personnel was super friendly and kind. Absolutely recommended. Our dinners there will be a great memory of our trip.

I was the first to enter at 19:45. Awesome food, good wine, even better dessert. Just one thing, the smell. It's awful, it smelled like urine. The door was closed because of the extreme heat and the AC. But the smell was really unbearable, it spoiled the dinner :(

Very good quality local food and wine for a very good price with a perfect service. The cook and waiter were very nice and took time to present to us Portuguese cuisine and what to do in the douro region. I higly recommand this place.
