Delicious food, cosy atmosphere, really sweet couple as owners, a wide selection of interesting drinks. Most Portuguese places I've visited serve huge portions, lots of deep-fried foods and are not always very tasty - but not here. You come to Viana Aromaticás for quality, not quantity. You can feel the food has been made with love. We went to have a snack and a drink with my partner and it was perfect!

Lovely staff; cooking and serving everything fresh. Delicious soup, puff pastries with salmon, vegetables or sausage and unique liquors and wines to boot! Only note; we went Saturday night and food options were light.

Small and very cozy! They have fixed menu (at least on our arrival). We had carrot soup and casserole made of grid cod and potato. They also offered very delicious self made desserts, - cheesecake and chocolate pipe. Both cakes were awesome. Surprisingly this all come with very affordable price. I’d recommend this place for lunch or dinner.

We loved our dinner - we had delicious soup and croutons, spaghetti bolognese and incredibly tasty banana and chocolate cakes (definitely recommend getting a desert). The sangria is also a must order! Overall the food was brilliant and very good value, and the owners were so friendly and welcoming :)

The Food was delicious and very cheap in comparison. The staff was nice and the Ambiente just right (relaxing music). In summary a very small and charming Restaurant, perfect for pilgrims.

Sehr gemütliches kleines Restaurant mit sehr gutem Essen und ganz lieben Wirtsläuten. Hat vom Anfang bis zum Ende alles bestens gepasst. Ich komme zu 100% gerne wieder.

Wir hatten einen sehr leckeres Abendessen mit Suppe, Schweinekotlett, Gemüsequiche und warmen duftenden Bananenkuchen. Die Verständigung war mit Englisch absolut einfach, die Bedienung sehr aufmerksam und um uns bemüht. Einfach unglaublich nett. Das Ambiente ist sehr ansprechend gestaltet. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

Ganz tolles, kleines Restaurant unweit der Brücke! Es gibt immer ein „Menü“, mit Suppe, einem Hauptgang und auf Wunsch ein Dessert. Mit allem kommt man inkl. Getränke auf rund 15 Euro pro Person! Lässt man das Dessert weg wird es deutlich erschwinglicher! Für Pilger*innen also durchaus machbar! Die Qualität war super, die Bedienung äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend und satt wurde man - mit Dessert - auch! Kann ich uneingeschränkt empfehlen - tolles Erlebnis und gerne wieder!

A limited menu was perfect for us. Fresh food, ideal quantities, great timing in an intimate setting without more than a dozen tables really finished a great day beautifully. Close to the water, but not ruined by traffic noise and busyness, it's out of the way enough to require intention. What a lovely place to dine for 2 to 5 people. Fantastic prices and carefully curated bar menu, too. Just lovely. Highly recommend.

Went there while wandering in Viana during the August Agonia fest. Initially I found the place a bit hot, but fast I host used to it. The lady that runs the place and served us is very very friendly and also gentle with our kids. We were 8 and took the vegetables soup and several other dishes. Everything was great, with good taste. Options are few, but honestly, I prefer like that (less options, easier to chose). The deserts were also great: chocolate cake, carrot cake and greek yogurt. No queues and fast service. I recommend if you're looking for a cozy, small place for a small group or couple.

Absolutely wonderful! Lovely staff and lovely setting. Excellent food. A rolling dinner. We had many different tapas and the desert was divine and was all homemade by the husband and wife chef duo! We loved every minute of it!

Viana Aromáticas serves healthy food in a nicely decorated little place. The aromatic flavours are perfectly combined with the dish. It is a different and really pleasant meal experience.

I’ve eaten in different places in Portugal, but I don’t know that the food has ever tasted as good as here. If you are in Viana, just come here for not just food but amazing culinary experiences. Trust me, it is the best!
