One of the nicest hiking trips on Mahe. Not a difficult hike but can be slippery at some points. Also requires some skills for uneven terrain and some places have rops to help you get over the boulders. Great views on the Eden island and around. Look for pitcher plants around the granite area while on top.

Beautifull view point, total hike 1500 meters, almost 800 meter is vertical steps ( tree roots growed like a natural steps) but it will pay back on the top. Take a liter of water with you, beautifull birds, nature , trees, animals you will see and the last a gorgeous view.

This is probably one of the greatest hikes for people who are not used to tropical conditions. It's short and relatively easy upwards, but the jungle's like a sauna. Don't expect the actual hike to be that easy, it's sweaty and hard to breathe, but nothing to be scared of (just be aware of it). You can't miss the trail, so no need for a guide and the view from the top is mesmerizing. It took us 40-45 mins to get to the top, but we spent around 10-15 mins for pictures

Walk is ok, some tropical vegetation, some big steps. Once on the top you have a view over victoria - I personally did not enjoy it much since its actually not pretty. View to the left is better, but not that special.

Total of 1.4km trekking(one way). Last 0.8 km of bit steep & tree root steps through dense forest.. at the end... great and beautiful view of east coast of Mahe Island... Worth trekking... 😊

Must do! What a great hike, you need to be in a good condition. You can either get to the start of the trail by taxi or public bus.

A very nice trail leading to Copolia Peak with beautiful views. Note: there are 6 parking spots at the beginning of the trail and the entrance is 100 SCR. Best is to avoid flip flops or sandals as the trail is pretty steep and with roots.

Go for the view, stay for the birds. It's not a bad hike, but wear sneakers or hiking shoes as it can be slippery. The view at the top is superb, but mostly because of the tropic birds. You will see them soaring in the skies. Tropic birds can be found not only in the Indian ocean, but all over the Pacific ocean. In Seychelles you can find mostly white tailed tropic birds. In Hawaii they have red tailed species. Those birds are so important for the island ecosystems. 30-40 mins hike is worth seeing them in their prime.

Outstanding view to Victoria! Definitely worth climbing there, unforgettable experience. Also if it is your thing, you can align you climb with arrival schedule of Victoria airport, there will be a great view on landing airplanes. The trail though is a bit difficult but not unbeatable, I'd say the same as Morne Blanc. The entrance fee is 100SCR per person (as of August 2023).
