Really friendly couple. Fantastic food, fresh salads, crispy chips, amazing chicken, and the gravy 😍 the place is really clean and generally just great for a hearty feed.

My cauliflower and cheese was beautiful, naughty me ate the whole large up. I was a little hungry so popped in while giving scout a walk. Service was lovely, the service lady was friendly as punch. The cook was friendly and approachable. Store was clean and well presented. Will be back for sure.

The food here is delicious! Perfectly cooked, full of flavour, and as good as you get if you went to a pub or restaurant. Generous serves and really well priced for what you get. The homemade chocolate mousse is divine and bargain priced for the size they give you. The owner is really lovely. Please support this local small business

I called the shop around 3pm and got brilliant customer service over the phone. I was able to pre order dinner for 5, when I arrived the staff were fantastic and the food was ready. All the food was absolutely delicious and everyone had a full belly. And that crackle, wow..! We will be coming back again.

Was looking for a family friendly meal option that was quick to serve and value for money - this ticked all the boxes! All items were full of flavour and the staff were extremely polite. There aren't many seats to eat in, but it is a clean space.

Wow! Go out of your way to go here and get a superb roast meal. Im fussy with pork and this was the best. Great gravy and heaps of roast veggies. Hubbie had roast chicken roll and gravy . It was huge! Chips were amazing as well. Next time ill try the salads and desserts. Definitely making this a place to go to when in Ballarat.

Juicy fried chicken with their own herbs and spices is delicious, and not oily. The roasted vegetables, potato bake, cheese cauliflower and pumpkin reminded me of a perfectly home cooked roast. Their homemade desserts alone are worth the visit. The panna cotta with mango and roasted coconut could have been served at a foodie restaurant.... perfect texture that melted in your mouth. The quality of food doesn't surprise me after speaking with one of the owners, they have both been chefs in some well known restaurants around Ballarat and Melbourne. Thanks for a very enjoyable dinner, and looking forward to visiting again.

Hidden Gem in Wendouree, worth the 15 min drive across town. Shop is clean spacious & you can see a selection of the food on display for easy choice. The roast veggies were perfect, the gravy flavourful & the crunch on the fried chicken would make Colonel Sanders turn in his grave. Food pack was mansized, only a giant would be looking around for seconds. But wait, there's more! I had the berry cheesecake & as far as cheesecake goes, this one is a 10/10, perfect balance of sweet & a touch of tart, the base was pure magic. Friendly, beyond the norm service, even had my bag carried out for me! Greatly appreciated as I am elderly.
