This is our second time staying at the Savoy and the whole experience from check-in to check-out was absolutely floor-less! We arrived very early in the morning, long before check-in time, our bags were looked after and we were offered use of the spa, pool and even breakfast while we waited. The rooms are fantastic, large, modern and really comfortable. The bed is super comfy and the bath was the perfect size for two! We actually really enjoyed the ground floor room with front entrance 10m to the pool area. The pool area is stunning, featuring a large pool with breathtaking views of the surrounding hills. The breakfast buffet is one of the best we have ever experienced and we stay at a lot of hotels! The beach in front of the hotel (Beau Vallon) faces West so you get the sunset there every night. The hotel itself is very quiet but you can walk out to the beach area and find street food, restaurants and bars all nearby. Emma at reception was fantastic throughout our stay and really made our experience 10/10. Can’t recommend her highly enough! We can't wait to stay here again, on our next trip to the Seychelles!

Very disappointed with this resort. We went there per recommendation of others and it's priced higher than the others in the area but didn't expect it to be so disappointing. The staff tries to avoid people and once you get their attention you get the vibe that "you just bothered them". Absolutely not attentive and not responsive. The rooms smelled like mold/moisture. There were too many mosquitoes and bugs that we couldn't enjoy sitting on our balcony. The pool was nice but they served drinks in glass containers which means, one accident and the pool is compromised. No staff at the pool bar, had to wait for a long time then asked maintenance to get us some help to get towels, etc. It's nice place but management really need to level up on their service level. The food was absolutely horrible, breakfast and dinner. We were so hungry and even with that, we just ended up eating bread and butter because everything else looked and tasted bad. Although we booked for the whole weekend, we were so upset with everything, we decided to enjoy the facilities at the nearby hotels instead. I don't think it's always been like this but for us at our time of visit, we were very disappointed and definitely will not recommend or go there again. Sorry Savoy :(

Stayed at Savoy during our Honeymoon for 4 nights. They claim to be a 5-star hotel but the service is not even worth 1-star. The staff is extremely rude and not at all welcoming. From the moment we stepped into the hotel, we felt extremely unwelcomed. We also had our transit scheduled late in the evening and we requested for a late checkout but the hotel staff at the reception was rude and could not find ways to accommodate our request despite there being empty rooms. There was no hotel manager to help or talk to. During checkout, the behaviour of the staff was extremely cold. The only thing we liked was the hospitality extended by the chefs at Grand Savoy. Everything else was below par. This was not the stay we expected and we are definitely not coming back to Savoy. I would not recommend Savoy to those travelling to Mahe. You would might as well stay at a lesser rated and cheaper place and get a better service.

Very nice hotel in a great location on the beach. The room was a good size and well equipped with a spacious balcony. The only downside was the restaurant, which offered a limited choice of Western food, and the quality was a little hit and miss. The restaurant staff were far too eager to take your finished items from the table the second you looked like you were finished. The staff also started clearing up the restaurant far too early and very loudly, while many diners were still trying to enjoy their food. There is clearly pressure from the managers and/or owners to do this, and the staff seem to live in fear if they stand still for more than a few minutes?!! Our room was on an upper floor, which luckily was served by 2 elevators. 1 of the elevators was out of service constantly, with nobody seeming to care. This hotel was quite expensive for the stay and expensive to buy drinks from the bar. So, for these reasons, I have scored it low on service. I would not bother going back.

Certainly not a 5 star hotel. If you care about attention to detail And cleanliness don’t go there. Entrance/ reception area is old and dirty, so are the rooms especially the bathrooms. Friendly staff and I am curious to see the drinks and the pool but so gar rather 3 star than 5 - Overall very dirty vibe (gym, spa, area of the pool) nothing is kept in good condition and most is either dirty or broken. Luggage wasn’t delivered to our room, but was lost by the staff instead. Overall very disappointing experience.

Very nice hotel and sap. However, the staff is taking longer than usual to check you in if you arrive earlier. Also, I will advise anybody to be careful when using the spa especially the massage. There is no privacy at all. One of my family member and I noticed a sneaky guy who was looking through the window when doing the massage- can you imagine. The girl doing the massage seemed not very surprised. Otherwise, nice rooms and veiw.

Great resort and location! Very tasty and fresh food ( a tourist can not find a decent quality restaurant at the island even thou there are some places that are highly recommended) The beach, the garden and services are awesome! Some rooms are a bit outdated but still comfortable and spacious.

Hospitality of the property begins way before a guest arrives at its door. How the reservation team/reception team or the concierge deal with the queries of leads and upcoming guests speak a lot about the quality of service that you'd expect there. It is very very sad and disappointing to see how the 5-star hotel team is handling its bookings. I'm yet to visit the property in this week, and have been trying to get in touch with them both on email and on the phone. The team just does not respond! 3-4 emails of follow up have been shot since last 2 weeks. There is no response on even one. Multiple phone calls have been made from our side and we have no clue as to why is the phone not being answered even once. We need airport transfers - have no clue if they can arrange it. We need transfer to ferry - have no clue whether they can help us in the same. We need excursions through hotel - no clue if they can actually do it. We need to tell them that it's our honeymoon stay at the property, and I'm just not able to connect with them for the special requests that I have for them.

Very big “resort”. Rooms are pretty worn down. AC is not cold and stays humid. This resort is in need of some love & care. Landscape hasn’t been groomed, gym was dirty and unkept, the pool deck had many pieces sticking up that could cause splinters. The buffet at dinner is outrageously priced. $175 per person. The other restaurant was also pricey for very small portions. Everything seemed to be half done around Savoy. We’ve stayed at smaller, more affordable places on the island that were cleaner and more welcoming. Would not recommend to a friend and glad we had a short 2 nights here.

We stayed in Savoy Seychelles for 3 nights and our stay was excellent! The staff was amazing. They even allowed us to do a early check-in and a late check-out. We had an Inflatable toy to play in the pool and one staff member was promptly filling in the air each day during our stay. The facilities were excellent as well. The pool area was really big and beautiful. The high level of cleanliness was maintained throughout the property. The buffet breakfast at Grand Savoy was good with high quality continental breakfast options. The location of the property was also excellent with the beach meters away and the Beau Vallon market also nearby. Our Savoy Suite was the real highlight of our stay in Savoy Seychelles. The suite was really big with a kitchenette in it and a really large balcony area. The resort/ocean view from our suite was also looking really beautiful. Great resort in Seychelles that is by the beach and would say it’s a must try!

Nice hotel in beau vallon beach. Welcoming service. The room wasn’t ready before 14 pm. The view from the room that we get wasn’t the best. The facilities were okay. In the breakfast there are a lot of different things. The pool looks great but it’s quite cold. We was sad to see that the Jacuzzi is on cold water and not warm. The beach is close with bed there. Overall the experience was good.

Undoubtedly the best resort in Beau Vallon. The hotel is located just next to the beach, and plenty restaurants along the beach walk. What more could you ask for. A very serene and quite place, away from all the hustle and bustle for a peaceful and relaxing time. Staff are very friendly, and the breakfast is lavish. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Extremely disappointed with the experience. Firstly the AC vent in the bedroom was not working. Telephone and TV were not working, for this room service came in after more than an hour to fix it. Food options in the breakfast menu were very limited and not up to the mark. Along with this after checking out we asked for a bottle of water which was also charged to us. This is definitely the worst experience I have had in a 5 star hotel. I urge everyone reading this to not book this hotel and go for other 5 star resorts.

The hotel is in a beautiful and central location. The food is good in all 3 restaurants. However, almost all rooms have a strong smell of mold. Only after visiting around 5 different rooms, did we manage to find one room with a bearable smell. The staff was kind and did their best to help us with the situation.

We chose to book in this hotel because it was said to be a five-star hotel. Maybe when it opened it should have been five stars because what we experienced it seemed clear that the standard had dropped a lot. The resort did not offer five-star services. One night I had a power outage for about two hours and no one from customer service explained or apologized. The location, nature, pool, beach and space of the rooms were very good. Service, maintenance and features left much to be desired. If you decide to have lunch in one of the resort's restaurants, I would suggest Grand Savoy, excellent service, very friendly staff and the best menu and taste. However, this is the best option for the area considering the price and what it offered

A great hotel resorts in Beau Vallon. The room was spacious, with walk in closet, big bathroom with tub, and living room. It was monsoon season when we came, it rained mostly in the morning. We had a day trip to the other islands on our check out day, checked out early im the morning, came back late from the trip, and the hotel still allowed us to take a shower before we left for the airport at midnight. What a good hospitality. Really appreciate the helpful and friendly staffs.

It was a good choice for 1st time comer to Seychelles. The locations is great next to so many things. The service was great special thanks to Ahmad the reception manager. He demonstrated an amazing level of support to make the stay even better he was like the “cherry on top of the pie”. Overall it’s an amazing stay and will only stay here if I’m here again.

Great place and the beach access is a huge plus. The restaurants (there is 3 in the ressort) serves excellent local and international cuisine on a very high level. The pool is nice and the setup they have with the lounge chairs and sun shades is one of the best I have seen anywhere. Everything was great except the design of the rooms were quite lousy for a 5 star hotel. There was no space to dry things in the bathroom and the toilet was in the middle of the open bathroom.

Everything was perfect. From the very check-in until the check-out. Reception staff were extremely helpful and went beyond to make us happy and comfortable - in particular, Abdul. Thanks a lot for all your help when we needed it. Another person that I have to mention is the room maid making our room daily. Unfortunately, I forgot her name. She was ever so polite and always with a smile on her face. A big THANK YOU from the couple from room 1109.

The beach is beautiful and the food is good but definitely this is not a 5 star hotel. We were 3 families with kids and baby, staying for 7 days, half board. We arrived at 6am after 18 hours travelling. We were received with a cheap apple juice and told that our rooms were not ready (which we understood) but were told that we could use the SPA and the Kids club while the rooms were getting ready. Surprisingly, the Kids Club was actually under maintenance and would only open after our hotel departure. Two weeks before we checked in, we sent an email to confirm if the kids club was opened and the hotel confirmed that it was opened during our stay. This was a very important requirement for us, as our daughter loves to meet and play with other children. Due to this, my husband and i could not enjoy the Spa as the hotel was not able to provide any babysitting services either. When we arrived, we thought on having the buffet breakfast and we were told that the 9 year old kid would have to pay adult fee, however for the dinner credits he was only entitled for the kids menu. The rooms are called "Ocean View" but you cannot see the beach, only the swimming pool. `We have complained and the argument was that "this is a name we give to the rooms but doesn't mean it has views to the sea". We've tried to talk with the manager but "too busy" to talk to us. We were told that they would see a way to compensate us and ended up offering a voucher for 1 beer, house wine or soft drink per person. We felt a bit insulted... On our check out we were told that they recognised that the hotel service was disappointing for us but they wanted to ask us a special favor "if you write a review of your stay, please rate us with the highest score. You can explain the negative experiences but at least give us the highest rate".

The service is top notch. All hotel staff, from reception to the beach guard, are AMAZING, not only super warm and friendly but also very helpful. Besides, the over-1km-public beach is only a lane away, allowing you to jog in the morning and explore other restaurants nearby.

I was indecisive between a 4 and 5, but there's more positive points than negative. Excellent location, rooms are great, spacious. Breakfast is very good. Staff I don't have words for amazing people working on this hotel. One of the best in terms of staff, very well done. Nearby beach one of the best in Mahe Seychelles. These were the positive, the negative, and just a few things, the rooms start to need some fixing, in the bathroom the door of the shower didn't closed well, come many water outside. On the pool, the outside floor needs an urgent renovation, and for me, the last negative point kid's club when we are on vacations Sometimes, we need to have some quality time 1 to 2 hours this club 1st kid's with 3 years has to be accomplished with parents why? No explanation. The people working there don't look to have any interest in the kids, just seating there no interaction, nothing. It's the only point that needs to be rethinking.

A very nice resort with good access to Beau Vallon Beach. They treat guests very well - was going on a honey moon so they put nice welcome decorations and cake in the room as a surprise. Moreover, food and services prices are more reasonable than similarly rated resorts on Beau Vallon Beach.

Great hotel with spectacular view. Pros- close to beach, very responsive staff, big room Cons- food- same menu at bf, not so much diversity at lunch and dinner on both restaurants. All in all a good experience

We stayed in the pent house suite. The views were actually magical! It even had a hot tub. Breakfast was really really good and we definitely needed time to your the grounds cos it’s huge! It connects to a street market with amazing street food and stalls that sell memorabilia. Hotel service was not bad and we got responded to quite promptly. It’s a bit quiet and so we kept getting told we were making noise as everywhere else was so quiet at night 😂 . All in all a really nice experience. I expected a more interest in dining menu . It was a little lacking

Excellent service. We picked this hotel to have a bit more relaxed end of vacation and we got more than we expected. The early breakfast was fantastic because of early morning dives - unlike other hotels, which serve breakfast much later, we were able to have breakfast before the dive trips. The quality and diversity of the breakfast selection was also fantastic. The rooms were excellent and the beautiful gardens, with well maintained waterscapes, really give this hotel a fantastic environment in and out of the rooms. The location is also perfect. With just a 3min walk you're right in the Beau Vallon beach, with dive shops, restaurants, and much more.

Very quality hotel, but still can't say I got the 5* hotel experience. I think this hotel stays somewhere between 4* and 5* Gym was small and old, also very hot.. Spa seems nice but lacking a bit ambiance and soul. Foods and general service of the staff/reception was what I like the most. I got to mention Chamin over here who is a waiter at the pool cafe area. He was easy-going and responsive.

Location wise absolutely incredible. We stayed on silhouette island for a week before hand and that hotel set us up badly for the the Savoy service Silhouette island is perfect in an imperfect way. The staff can't do enough to help. Very polite. Always on hand to help. Always do more than you even expect. You almost leave feeling like you have made friends on the island. Then you come to the Savoy on Mahe and probably 80% of the staff here are incredibly rude. One word answers if you are lucky. Complete lack of interest. There are a few nice ones but you will be lucky to find them with how many rude ones here. Such a shame really as the potential here is huge. It's a true gem of a place and if you had the staff from silhouette island working here it would be a very different hotel.

Amzing pool and breathtaking views from the balcony. Breakfast and in-room dining was also great with variety of selections. Location of the hotel is perfect with beach, shops and restaurants around. On the other hand, internet signal inside the rooms was weak and needs improvement. Bathroom floor was smelling bad and was not cleaned properly prior to our arrival. Overall, Highly recommended for a relaxing stay.

Couple w teenage daughter. Spent 5 nights there in mid-July. Booked double bed room w extra bed for 3rd person which was solidly built, swiftly delivered to our room upon check-in and quite comfy. We arrived early and were offered to change and shower at the spa plus to hang out at the pool before the room was ready. Overall, really nice hotel w park-like setting and large pool area. Most rooms face the sea but you can't see the ocean because trees have grown so high that you only catch a glimpse of the blue between the branches. Although 150 plus rooms and fully booked during our stay, we never really felt it was crowded except for breakfast peak time. Breakfast buffet offered everything, quality was very good. Cannot judge half-board in large hotel restaurant but lunch and dinner options at the Pescado restaurant were great (I liked especially the crabcakes, the tuna steak was great, too). Staff was always there to help, polite and attentive. The beach is only footsteps outside the hotel grounds with chairs provided. There's a boardwalk lined w food stands and little shops, also beach bars and restaurants. Reception desk staff was exceptionally helpful w/ everything, special thanks to Chandra who took care of organizing a birthday surprise for our daughter. The chocolate cake was delicious. Hotel and amenities are not cheap but we got a very fair value for what we paid. Full recommendation!

My husband and I, spent a week at The Savoy Seychelles. We had an amazing time! The hotel is beautiful. We enjoyed our meals at all 3 restaurants. And we were happy to come across, a little bit of home, a South African barman, Juan, at the Pescado restaurant!!! The staff throughout the hotel were great. We will definitely visit again.

We stayed here for 3 nights upon arrival in Mahe for some rest and relaxation before further exploring the island. We were given a very friendly welcome, and as we'd arrived early we were asked to wait until our room was ready Our room was beautiful, very spacious with a large bed and very spacious bathroom with a double sink, large bath and a big walk in shower, also plenty of storage space. We had a lovely terrace overlooking the beautiful tropical gardens and close to the pool. Unfortunately, we noticed that the room had a damp musty smell and felt quite damp, so we mentioned this to reception. They asked f we wanted to move to another room, but as we'd unpacked we decided to stay put However, they sent someone check the air conditioning, and later that day when we returned to our room we found a surprise...a big bowl of fresh fruit and a bottle of wine! Breakfast was amazing, one of the best hotel breakfasts with a huge amount of choice. All in all a wonderful hotel for a relaxing break and very helpful friendly staff..would highly recommend.

Large and clean room (we had a standard one), great location, on Beau Vallon beach, great service and food. The hotel"s gardens are beautiful. There are showers at the hotel s entry from the beach. The hotel has sunbeds on the beach and fresh towels for the beach and for the pool.

We stayed at Savoy Spa for 4 nights and were quite Happy with the service of two of the staff members that made sure our stay was good. Chandran at the Reception was very accommodating and helped us right away when we wanted to change rooms. Sushil at the Pool bar always served us with a smile and made the most amazing Strawberry and Passion fruit margaritas Thank you to both of them for making our stay memorable!
