La Maison Marengo is a very nice restaurant 15mn from the airport. Service is good, ambiance is nice and it is very reasonably priced fir the Seychelles. It has an upscale feel in a relaxed atmosphere with jazz playing in the background. The beck outside is beautiful. We saw many Seychellois families which is always a good sign. I would highly recommend to stop by if you are tired of your hotel food and want a nice night out. :)

I had my 21st birthday there in 2020. Wonderful experience the staff were very friendly. And they made my birthday very special as they also participated in singing happy birthday which made us feel the typical Seychellois warmth.

I don’t know what to say... my boyfriend ordered the pasta with Shrimps and he get like 15 shrimps (250scr) and I ordered prawns and get two shrimps and should pay 325scr. I Told him that I don’t pay for prawns when I got 2 shrimps and my husband had much more and paid less. I told him that I want to it eat, but just want to pay the same like my husband. The waitress was at first very friendly, but after I told him that I again don’t get what I ordered he gets unfriendly and told me that he is very busy and he need to go...I felt fooled...at the end we just pay the 250scr. But our dinner was terrible, I never felt so uncomfortable during a dinner.

I asked if it's supposed to be like it and was given another portion (5more prawns) which is nice move from restaurant and saves the experience a bit. After being on Mahe, Praislin, La digue this was the most pricy and very average dinner for us. We wanted to have a nice farewell dinner but left disappointed. I know that all in seychelles is overpriced but this was a joke. I give it to them that the atmosphere of place is nice with live music from 7pm and with vocal from 8pm. Avoid, find something cheaper, quality will be similar or same.

Nice small restaurant in Au Cap. The food is nice, ambience is fine with an option to sit outside or inside. The good part is live music played on few days. The place is like almost on east coast road (100 m inside) but no issues for parking as there is a big ground in front of restaurant.

We stopped here twice: first for a coffee break and then we came back because the menu seemed to be so tasty! And we didn’t regret it! The octopus curry is great!! There is a huge parking area in front of the restaurant. And the kids can play around in the area and explore the spider crabs colony in the Domaine de Val des Praia craft village. There was live by music on Friday night, don’t know about the other nights.

We went there twice on our stay and we can highly recommend this place! The location is really nice and clean, the people are super friendly and the food is excellent.

While shopping in the local craft village my friends and I wandered over here when we heard that they probably had iced coffee. We saw a beautiful, clean outdoor patio area and a nice open-air bar space with seating inside with fans blowing cool air. We were warmly greeted and ordered three iced coffees. The friendly bar tender (who spoke little English but was awesome) proceeded to mixologist our drinks by adding about 8 ingredients to the iced coffees but they turned out to be a caramel delight.
