Great restaurant inside the Story hotel but welcomes external guests. Plenty of parking on premises. Excellent cocktails and even better food. We ordered beef skewers, coconut crispy shrimp, Hawaiian salad, grilled chicken and the fried rice. Wouldn’t recommend the prawns or salad but the grilled chicken and fried rice were amazing. Live band, good atmosphere and probably one of the best places to eat on Mahe in Seychelles.

It’s in the story resort, free parking available and reservation is required (I contacted them on WhatsApp). The restaurant is nicely decorated and has an interesting menu, especially for drinks, but then while the quality of everything is good, I wasn’t particularly impressed with it

If you do not stay in the hotel you must do a reservation to make sure you get a table in the evening, the restaurant is located inside hotel area. Great menu (some starters are really huge) and super lovely cocktails, workers there are very calm and sweet. Interior fit to the team of all the around it all the way to the menu.

I am sold for the cocktails they have on offer . The music is super ambient and the food is great. I was there twice but I found the service very average. I fell for the location of the place , the way it was designed and the wares they used to serve their cocktails. This surely is an international chain which knows what it is doing. Withholding one star for the prices, it’s super expensive.

Disappointed: We decided to do a “walk-in”. The ladies were a bit reluctant to give us additional chair and tables because the said our guests would not turn up. We had 6 adults and 3 child. The food took 33mins to arrive. Very little variety of food to be honest. The kids menu were on a separate piece of paper that was not very presentable. The table was not set properly and the servers did not checkup on us at all during our meal. I guess the place works well for drinks not for dinner.

We were 10 people we called in and made a Reservetion this Mrng for big table inside arriving at 20:00 , we arrived on time and set Down waiters wee friendly and took care for a WiFi code for our children. Drinks took ages to arrive and we had to remind them about it then the waiter came and took the order for starters and main course, part of us got starters while rest had to wait longer and then came the second part main course took Alonso 1.30 hrs to arrive food was gd and not even one bad word about it all very well cooked. We stayed at the story hotel a d ate two times at traders vics. The cocktail where awesome but some food are horrible expensive. There are cheap options on the menu but most of the food in my opinion is definitely overpriced. Even drinks are insane expensive. You could go here but take on your big pocket. They have live music which was very cosy but if you dine indoor it's to loud.

Prawns were fresh and cooked well. Cocktails are yummy. The place was well decorated in tribal style.

Wonderful dining experience during our vacation! It is worth mentioning that the restaurant is part of a resort but you do not have to be a guest of the resort to go there. Reservation was made via WhatsApp with quick replies from the service team. My wife and I went there for dinner. The service, the atmosphere as well as the food were excellent. Lots of options for food and drinks with extraordinarily good cocktails. Definitely recommended!

Cocktails are great,one of the best on the island, but the food are overrated. Chimichurri sauce for one was not,,, Chimichurri… Beef was cooked nicely but lacked seasoning. Crab wontons were too oily and being served with fried vermicelli did not help. The Beef Cho Cho was delicious, a must have. Will definitely be back for the Cocktails and that Cho Cho.

Anything coming out of that chinese wood fired oven is phenomenal. The dishes were so good we went back again the next day for more. Nestled in the center of Story resort, it is a standalone building. We thought Trader Vic's was closed until we walked in from the beach side. Coffee and coconut cocktails are also something i didnt think I would enjoy so much.

Went back twice in the 3 days we were in Mahe! Exceptional cocktails mixed up by Dushan and Aye was kind enough to get us a table the second time around even though the hotel was at full occupancy and they weren't accepting non-hotel guests. Call ahead and try not to walk-in. Had a grumpy hotel security guard at the entrance whose people-skills needed work on our first visit, but a word with the manager at Traders had him straight on the phone to resolve that behaviour.

Good all around choice throughout our stay we’ve been there few time and where pleasantly surprised how good is the food and how generous are the portions. For smaller hunger even the starters where big enough. Cocktails are excellent and definitely worth a try! The downside is the music. It’s live and the singer is good! However it is just too loud. Outside sometimes it’s hard to keep the conversation while inside you can’t hear your own thoughts! With such high quality of food and drinks such loud music just spoils the experience!

After reading the positive posts I was so happy to take my family for a nice pre Christmas dinner. We drove an hour full of excitement. The food quality was very poor unfortunately - properly the worst meal of my year. The dishes were not fresh, just from a package heated up (esp the sauce), the main dishes were all very tasteless and not fresh and over cooked (don’t have the Pad Thai), the cocktail had too much syrup in it and be careful they wanted to take double service charge + tip which is not common for the Seychelles.

Very nice and informative owners. Facilities are the cleanest on the island. Areas nearby are simply breathtaking. Cant understand why anyone would not like it! Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful and authentic seychellois experience!

It's hard to fault this place in any way. The food is consistently good in quality and is varied as well as having a great and original cocktail menu. There's music live here, with a lady singing Latino-style music on the occasions we visited (a lovely smooth vocal style). This was our go-to along with the 1502 Bar when we dined in the Story resort, as we were always sure of a high standard of food. Reservations are preferred, however, we walked in on several occasions too. Very good indeed.

We also dined there and the food was fresh, very good, and they managed to offer me perfect Vegan dishes! The atmosphere is so fun, weren’t many people around, though everyone danced and had lots of fun :) Highly recommended!

We had some mixed feelings about this restaurant. Some dishes were good (steak, crab) and definitely at a good standard (first restaurant that did medium rare). Whereas some dishes really didn't hit the mark (duck, tofu dishes) at all. To the degree to call them unpleasant. The cocktails were a highlight. The music was too loud sadly. The service was fine.

Food was lovely, without a doubt best we had on the island and staff were really friendly. They allowed us to eat early before the restaurant actually opened as we had our two year old son with us. They also brought him a birthday cake without us even telling them it was his birthday! Highly recommend.
