Great trail, really enjoyed it and views at the top were amazing. There are a few parking spaces off the road right next to the start. 100 rupees before 4pm. We went at 4:30pm but needed to watch the light as was getting dark by the time we finished. We were up in 35 minutes and down in 25. It is tough and steep in places so not for beginners. Trail or hiking boots essential. Plenty of water needed as well. It was a lovely dry day. If raining would have made it very slippy. Highly recommend.

It is a great trail for a walk, we really liked it, especially the view in the end! Wonderful. The trail is a medium difficulty, but there are staircases everywhere.

if you have time for just one hike, this is the one. the walk was gorgeous through a tropical paradise, and the views from the top are stunning. not too difficult or strenuous. there is a small fee so make sure to bring cash. no restrooms so prepare accordingly.

Interesting hiking experience in the jungle with amazing view from top! It is NOT "medium" difficulty though!! It is actually harder than the marked as "hard" Morne Blanc Trail. Very steep even for us and we are both mountain hikers and rock climbers. On the way back I had an I cident, I twisted my ankle real bad, so be very careful. But it is totally worth it! The view from top is truly breathtaking! Bring good shoes and plenty of water.

Short easy trail. Can be a bit steep at times but good even for kids/family. Interesting endemic species to seychelles. The peacher plants are beautiful. You get a nice vista of the city and some of the inner islands of the east coast of Mahé. I went there a couple of times with family and friends and will go again.

A moderate hike that is well worth the views at the end. It's actully nice a cool once you reach the top but as others have said it's a hot and sweaty walk even in overcast conditions. Lots of water and a towel if you sweat alot. Some big steps and some tricky parts but overall doable for most people. 250rupees entry unless you are a resident then it's free. Took us 50 mins total return trip at a leisurely pace not including time spent admiring the scenery. A must for the photos 📸

Beautiful trail, it takes easily 1.5 hours to reach the top and on the way back it’s a bit quicker as you’re going downhill. The views are surreal on the top and overall it’s an amazing experience.

This is an another natural trail of Seychelles. This view point gives you amazing view of Victoria and Eden island. If you are lucky, you can see the flight passing over the Eden island

Nice trail with an amazing view to Eden Island in the end. We made it a little faster than expected (>30min). It rises a lot so be careful with old or young people, it can quickly become hard.

Prepare for a Short and intense hike, that deserves all the effort and the sweat 😅😅 it is a very beautiful view from above, and also a special hike along the way, thanks to the nature. Take good hiking shoes and a lot of water. We made it in aprox. 40 minutes, with little breaks along the way. 10/10🇸🇨❤️❤️

Medium- hard trail but amazing view from the top, absolutely worth that. It about 1 km each side but because you need to climb up it’s feel longer. To have to look carefully we’re you going to. If it’s cloudy wait a couple of minutes usually the clouds moving fast.

Pretty difficult 45min hike through lush dense forest. Most of time it’s a pretty steep climb and the humidity of 90% makes it exhausting. If you sweat like I do, bring a towel. I got completely sokaed during the climb and it was not from the short tropical rain. Doable in flip flops but careful. The view is incredible. For aviation fans, this is also a wonderful place to see the approach for runway 13 to Mahe airport. Beautiful to see the triple seven glide from a couple of thousand feet all the way to touchdown in front of your eyes.

Fantastic view on the top!! The hike is not “easy” but not difficult either, take some water because you’ll need it. I’ve seen someone hiking in flip flops so don’t worry.

A trail which is between moderate and difficult ( entrance ticket per adult is SCR100 per adult). While the total trail is about a KM one way, it may take upwards of an hour to reach the end of the trail. It is quite steep and we are forced to watch out our way while going up. Avoid this trail while raining or just after my rain.

Quite steep, but managed to climb it with sandals :) breath taking jungle view during the trail and amazing panorama of Mahe Island from the top. You can only pay by card, in 2023 autumn ticket price was 7€

This is the best hike/trail that you would witness in Mahe. The train is through mid of jungle not super difficult but also thrilling. The view is the best thing that you can witness ever.

Pretty simple hike, average hiker should be able to complete it in less than an hour. The special treat is to see the flesh eating plant which are the top most segment of the hike. Its easy to be missed out as the signs dont point at it but if you just look around on top you would be able to spot it. The view is nice but I prefer the morne view better. Overall was a fun trip. It get humid alot because of the rain forest so expect to sweat alot and carry enough fluids as there is no shop nearby.

Great hike, easy for non athletic - can take 40 min - 1 hr to reach the top. No need for guides, the trail is clear. Very rewarding view at the top. Make sure you dont miss the carnivor plant at the top :) 1 bottle of water should be sufficient but depending on the weather you may need more

The entrance is 100 rupees. The trail is well kept, and it gets quite steep in a few spots. It’s easy to follow, even though I lost my way at some point because the signs are easy to miss. We went up in 25 minutes and down in 30, so it’s a quick one but it can be tough and slippery when it rains. The view is nice but unfortunately it’s been cloudy and rainy for days so I didn’t really see much…. I would do it on a clear day only

Astonishing trail to walk through the tropical forest! It could be hard for unprepared hikers, but quite accessible. There are lots of beautiful plants and trees. Also it is possible to meet some rare creatures, like Lesser hedgehog tenrec (endemic for Madagascar, but suddenly was find here). And there are a lot of pitcher plants on the top of the trail. And breath taking views of the island, of course!

(Translated by Google) Great route. The description says - average complexity, but I would say that this is the maximum complexity that does not yet require special equipment. In the rain or after it, it’s quite slippery, but with a certain accuracy, regular sneakers are enough - just put them on the entire sole. 14 bus will take you to the entrance. Employees are sitting there, busy counting people who have come in and out. They go looking for the difference - some tourists are lost. The route is like a blockbuster - at first a sharp descent down (causing involvement), then 700 meters of a very well prepared path - with very steep descents and ascents (this is suspense). Having gone out into the open space with a view down, you think that this is the culmination; but the real final battle lies ahead. The prepared track ends, and you have to guess at random the way to the rocks, through thickets and tall stones, where you can’t climb without hands. There were no metal stairs from other reviews. Especially careful when descending from the very top - the wrong path will lead to a cliff. Seriously, I highly recommend it.

A very nice hike. About 45mn in the forest leading to a beautiful view point. You’ll need to pay an entrance fee. The trail is well marked. Take hiking shoes and some water as you’ll have to climb many stairs to go to the top. Pick a day when there is no clouds or you’ll be disappointed. All together a must do for people who enjoy mature and landscapes.

(Translated by Google) We leave the car on the side of the road, not far from the beginning of the trail. We put on sneakers with non-slip soles and forward. The way up takes 40-60 minutes. It’s easy to go almost everywhere, there are only a few places where you need to help with your hands. Along the way, you can see interesting plants, lizards and tenreka (a small animal similar to a hedgehog). Upstairs you can see the entire northeast of the island and nearby islands. In good weather, you can see the airport and how planes take off and land. On the way down you need to be careful, especially after rain, some places are quite slippery. In general, I advise.

Very varied and enjoyable trail. It starts off easy but gets tricky in the middle and towards the end. Most of the trail is in dense jungle, then you arrive at the top for some stunning views of the bay, islands, and mountains around. We went early to beat the heat, which I would recommend doing. Note there is a cost of SCR 100 per person. You can pay the office at the start of the trail, but better to buy online if coming early (as the office may not be open yet). Allow at least 2 hours to climb and descend.

A nice trail through the jungle to Copolia peak. Carnivorous plants can be found at the top, along with an amazing view of the islands. My advice is to go when the air is not too humid, as there is no breeze in the jungle. Only humidity, and it feels like you overheat rather quickly.

Great hike, about 60 minutes. Closed shoes are necessary and enough water to drink, since it’s quite exhausting (steep paths). You can park your car directly on the road at the start point of the trail, there is a small booth where you pay the entrance fee to the NP. Our kids (9&5 years old) loved the hike because of the “jungle explorer” feeling. And the views are well worth the effort!!! You can see the whole St Anne NP to the east and the whole northern part of the island as well as far down to the south (incl the airport and the planes landing there). To the West you see the Morne Seychellois, the highest hill of Mahé, that is about 300m higher then the viewpoint at the end of this hike. The plateau at the end of the hike is full of the carnivorous pitcher plants. It’s not as circular route, you have to return the same way

One of the best Trail I have done. Don't be fool by the board which describes the trail as medium, it's tough. But what you find during the clambing is pleasure for the eyes. Jungle and massive granite stone. Top the view and the fresh air is crazy. Took us more then 1 hour to ascend and maybe 45m to discend. If you have a stick bring it. There is a entry fee. Recommend.

Steep but short, can climb up in 25 min if you are fit, take plenty of water to drink. The views from the top are gorgeous. It has an entry fee of 100 scr per person but when we reached there at 3.45 pm there was no one to collect the money, so money in hand we completed the trek and came back.. Not a soul in signt. Speaks volumes about the laid back island life here

  • 5/5 Ms. Y. 1 year ago on Google
We do not normally hike and found this trail quite steep. It took approximately an hour to climb but the path was well laid out and the view at the end was very much worth it. We arrived at a good time after noon and there was no one else at the summit. We were surrounded by shrubs of carnivorous pitcher plants endemic to Mahe island deeply rooted amongst the large granite rocks, which was very interesting to see. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and breathable clothes and bring plenty of water! The entrance was 100 SCR per person and card payments are accepted. We had initially planned to do the Morne Blanc trail but decided to turn around a few minutes into the trail as there was no proper path visible for the climb. It was a good decision to do the Copolia trail instead, which was a moderate climb and less than 10 minutes drive from Morne Blanc.

This trail in my opinion is comparitively more difficult than Morne Blanc. There are more narrow and steeper spots to negotiate, but it's fun all the more. Watch out for the signs to get the right pathway to the top. You find pitcher plants just before scaling the top. And from the top, you get an angular and closer view of the Eden Island.
