It is fair to say that the beach is increasingly under pressure from coastal erosion due to the strong destructive waves that hit the coast. Management efforts have been put in place such as concrete groynes, vegetation, rock armouring and concrete pillars but whether or nor they effective interventions is a subject matter for another day. Beach cleaning is also a constant activity here. Most of the pollution both in the sea and in the beach include plastics, wood, glass and metallic objects like bottle tops. In general, its a nice beach though under a great threat of erosion.
