Invest yourself in a pair of good hiking shoes and you’re good to go, it can get quite steep! Don’t forget to look around, you might be lucky to spot some black snail on the trees. The view was breathtaking, although it was a little cloudy for us but it was totally worth the hike! Depending on your fitness, will take about 1-1.5hrs to get to the top!

A stiff walk up to the summit of Morne Blanc will reward you with spectacular views of the island. The trail is signposted from the road and the track is reasonably clear. Took us about 40 minutes to reach the summit where there is a decent viewing platform. Wear sensible shoes, take plenty of water and watch your step as some parts of the trail are a bit of a scramble. If you are reasonably fit and take your time, the walk is well worth it

This is short but amazing hike with good elevation gain. Its hardly 2km long in total but will get a good feel of hike. Breathtaking views from the summit

Very picturesque trail in the jungle with lovely view from top. It is a hard one though. Not OK for people who never or hardly ever go hiking. Good shoes are a must, as well as lots of water!

Very cool hike! Don't be fooled by the 600m altitude on the sign - this is not the vertical climb, but really the absolute elevation of the viewpoint at the end. The actual climb is around 180m. Still, it's a lot of meters for a short hike, which means it's steep! But the view at the end is very well worth it 😉

Very nice trail. One hour of very steep climbing. Most beautiful view of south beaches, 30 to go back. You must wear good shoes! And take some water with you. Have fun!

Awesome hike with breathtaking views at the end!!! There are quite some rocky and muddy steps to climb thru, however nothing really hard, just don't hurry and enjoy the nature around. The nature around is very colorful! The hike is a good idea to distract from the ocean for a while and enjoy nature. Parking is possible by the road sides at the entry point. Definitely worth visiting!

Well sign posted and reasonably well maintained. Great viewpoint at the end but, despite only being 800m each way, it's a tough trail both up and down (and that's coming from a 31 year old runner). We started at 08:00 and would recommend this both for heat and quiet. No other walkers until we were 100m from the end (this was at the beginning of February)

Trail is accessible via public bus. Limited parking on very narrow roads. Trail very well used and maintained. Steep stair climb (natural root and rock mostly) to a fantastic platform at the top. Would be a mess after rains.

Top trail in Seychelles, when you give your feet a hard time and see the beautiful nature of Seychelles (yes you will see a beautiful preserved primary forest). It was great that we enjoyed the trail practically all by ourselves. We only met a few people and we had the final lookout tower for ourselves.

This trail is fantastic! Nature, birds, fresh air and it was not hot at all. Despite this, better get some sun cream as it can get sunny on the top. Wear sport shoes and get water with you.

The trail is short, but the slope at times very steep. It is not for beginners or those with a lack of fitness. The route leads through a forest - very interesting for nature lovers, especially botanists. Views from the platform at the end of the path absolutely magnificent! There are several illegal viewpoints near the end of the path. Using them is risky!

That was my first “big” hike. It’s not easy but definitely worth a try! Bring lots of water with you. For me it took 1 hour and 10 minutes to get up there , and 30 minutes to get down.

Yes, you will be very sweaty, but it is definitely worth it. Everyone visiting Mahe should walk this trail, the reward is a stunning view at the end of the trail.

The trail is about 40mins uphill with rough terrain and covered by a canopy of lush vegetation. Recommended: Early start (9am or before), Shoes, water and umbrella (in case it rains). Not recommended: hats or slippers At the top we were lucky to partly see the view before cloud/fog cover completely blocked the view.

Short but steep trail, only took 35 minutes to get up. Relatively easy if you're not unfit. Great view, definitely recommend for short and sweet hike. Could have been a nicer jungle to hike through. Happy Trailing.

it is on the same road as Copolia and Morne Seychelles, and trois Ferrer's. is a 800 meter go and same for return I yave done Copolia on one go but god that one is harder and lacks any breaks for rest . the view from above is absolutely amazing for the western view of Mahe. hiling boots very recommended. 2L of cold water is a needed. morning hiking js recommended as when it gets noon, the Sun will reach you in some places.

This trail was quite underwhelming. It’s all in the jungle, which is cool, it’s very steep right away and all the way up. I’m quite fit and it took around 30 minutes, but it can easily take longer if not used to it and I wouldn’t recommend it if not fit - the sign at the beginning says it takes 60 minutes and it’s hard. However I found it quite boring, since it doesn’t offer any view since it’s in the jungle, except the very last part, but still not much. The end goal is that wooden platform you see pictures of everywhere, but it isn’t that big either so it gets crowded. When I went, a group of people was having a picnic with music right there… very considerate!

Really nice hike, went there during a rainy day, some part more steep so better to take proper shoes. Also it can get slippery. Took us 1,5h to go up and down (not trained but we walk a lot). we didn’t had any view on the top due to clouds. Ah and it kills you legs as it is just up up up :) take plenty of water with you

One hour up and down, nothing to see at the top platform on a foggy rainy day. In rain, the path is muddy but not too slippery, walk carefully and you will be OK. The lush vegetation is impressive in any kind of weather. I was lucky to see a tailless tenrec on the way up.

A great hike to remember. We were the first to start in the morning and we had the entire Morne Blanc Hiking Trail to ourselves. If you come by car, it can be parked near the Tea factory which is 300m ahead of the beginning of the trail. The hike itself is so much fun and adventurous. The raw vegetation, rough terrain and a stunning view from up top made this trail, a perfect one to begin the day with.

Nice short trail with great views at the end. The trail is in the forest, thus it's a cool escape from the sun for an hour (takes less than that to get to the viewing point). It's rated as "hard" as it's uphill the whole route. You'll break a sweat, but it's nothing crazy for a semi-fit person. The trail is mostly wide and there's no steep drops on either side, thus it's a good fit even for people afraid of heights. The viewing platform at the end is very stable and big enough to accommodate 15+ people at a time. Given the trail is not crowded, you'll probably have the great views of the western part of Mahe for yourself.

Very nice trail. took us 50 minuets of climbing, but the view from the top really worth it. need to park on the road side, but it's not a problem. They put signs every 200 meters, so you know your on the right way. it can be bit slippery, so go with good shoes.

Great trail, picturesque and exiting! Absolutely worth going! Only one recommendation - if you’re going in early morning, be aware of spiders and net. In narrow places nets go across a way. So best decision is to find wooden stick and get rid of net on the way. View on the top is stunning

First off, don't wear flip flops. Secondly, it doesn't take an hour if you're ok good shape. It is straight up but the view is great. Bring water and enjoy the trip!!

Nice track, quite steep and totally sweaty but worth it. Best possible option is to rent a car because taxi might be quite expensive to get there. You can easily park your car near Tea Factory what is just few steps far away form the beginning of the track. Don't forget to take the water with you, you will be thirsty as hell when you manage it to top. Even during the way up you will have a chance to see beautiful forest so at least some time for rest during the shooting of the nature scenery 😉 And at the end beautiful view.

(Translated by Google) Very nice little hike in the middle of wonderful nature. At the end you will be rewarded with a gigantic view. Ascent about 30-40 minutes. The ascent is sweaty because of the high humidity in the jungle - you should definitely bring a bottle of water per person. I also recommend sturdy shoes. If you are very allergic to mosquitoes, you should maybe take something with you, because jungle (had a mosquito bite) (Original) Sehr schöne kleine Wanderung inmitten wundervoller Natur.

Quite a demanding trail. It could be difficult to follow the trail sometimes; if you see tons of spider webs - you've taken the wrong way! There's no ideal place for parking, you'll have to improvise.

Morne Blanc was a great trail! Mostly uphill and definitely challenging but worth the view! The path is pretty clear - there was a massive tree that had fallen over the path which we found our way around going up, but we just climbed over it on the way down. It took us about 45 min to go up, 30 min to go down.

The trail is definitely for advanced hikers. It is relatively well marked but does get a bit messy and confusing at the top. We hiked down in the dark and it wasn't bad but I wouldn't want to do it again.

The trail took us around 1-1,5 hour to climb up (untrained). It's steep and sometimes you need to climb using both hands and feet so not just walking. Bring good shoes and make sure to watch where you step. Reaching the viewpoint is well worth the climb.
