Interesting colonial villa which we can visit for free. We only found 4 souvenir kiosks open, but they provide better options than you can find in most souvenir shops around the island, also some local made things. I suppose it is better to visit now, as there only few visitors, should be not so good if crowded.

A nice stop if you have the car. There is a little museum which describes the estate and the family owning it. It gives you an idea of Seychelles at the colonial age.

This craft village was such a great place to visit. Had a house where you could see how it was lived in many many years ago. It also had several little shops where they sold hand crafted items and it was all fantastic. The people were so welcoming and friendly. Definitely worth a visit, even if it is a quick one.

We stopped here because we were told that here you can but the be best souvenirs, but unfortunately it was closed due to the corona virus restrictions... But still your can walk around the small cottages and on the veranda of the main house and also see a lot of the items (the outdoor Kitchen for example). The architecture is great and typical for the creole culture. A highlight for the kids is the crabs colony (spider crabs with red and yellow legs and scissors) on the northern side, next to the creek!!!

It is a Creole Village experience. The Craft huts has the old historical architecture and you can view/buy all your local souvenirs from them. In the biggest building, you can see all the historical items( pots, furnitures, toys, old house models, house accessories, etc..) that was used by our ancestors. On some days you can even taste the different local cuisine of Seychelles. Nowadays, mostly every month, they have a different event promoting a local delicacy. So pass by to indulge the local cuisine, snacks and drinks. No entrance fee is needed. So a must see when visiting Au Cap.

Nothing special. A place where several souvenir shops offer similar products. Atleast the price and choice for fridge magnets was the best we found. Not sure about the other products. Worth a visit if you are close and stipo need souvenirs.

Well worth a visit. Beautiful location in its own right and the souvenir shops are better and more tasteful than most of the ones in Seychelles, with no pressure to buy.

Very nice place to buy hand made souvenirs/crafts. E.g you can buy nice handbags or hand made paréos from Heal the ocean Duniam Annette Sinon and from Sussanne’s Embroidery Susanne Bastienne. You can find their products in the ‘Group Artisans Seychelles’ little house.

The best place to buy souvenirs which I have found on the whole island. Nice quality and fair price. Also a glimpse into the past of life on the island. Worth to visit!

It had some good craft shops. Be sure to reach here early as it closes by 4:30 - 5 PM

Something to do when sunning gets too much... around 10 small restored buildings each housing a combination of artist made items and touristy trinkets. Bring cash as most dont accept cards. Buildings are part of a conservation effort for Mahe and are quite cute too.

Historical village full of artists. Everyone should pay a visit here. There is a painter that signs every unique creation and an old French man building highly detailed boat reproductions. It is also nice to see the model of the old village.

👍👍 If you are staying on Mahe, you must visit. There is a one hour free tour around the distillery 3 times a day. For 125 rupees you can also participate in a delicious rum tasting. The distillery is home to two tortoises, Taka and Maka, who are very keen on being pet. There is a small spice garden in...
