This is a 3 star hotel and not 5. Very outdated. Adjacent to the main road. Very very small. 2 places for eating that can hardly be called even cafes. The place is very untidy. The pool is a small puddle that barely holds 10 people. The service is very poor. Does not come close to the level of service of a 5 star hotel. The staff is not professional at all. Do not know details, prices or at all give service. There is no direct access to the beach unless you are skipping over a fence and descending stairs that are likely to break your leg. This hotel is a bad joke that calls itself a luxury hotel and actually runs like a hostel. Most importantly, the breakfast, lunch and dinner are not diverse and with a very limited supply. full board does not include drinks.. which is the most delusional thing I have come across. Bottom line.. do not get close. Not worth the money unless the price is 100 euros per night (we paid 500 euros per night and sorry for every moment).

It is absolutely not a 5-star hotel with the standard and quality expected. As soon as you arrive, the tone is set: no one to welcome customers. We had to unload our luggage ourselves. Several employees are not welcoming, they do not say hello when you meet them in the hotel. The facilities and rooms are old and dilapidated. Even in a higher-category room, you can hear the neighbors talking and flushing the toilet. The pool is in a dismal state and so are the loungers. In this hotel there is not even a spa, if you want a massage you have to go to the hotel next door. Finally, there is indirect access to the beach and no deckchairs are provided by the hotel. The price of staying in this hotel is much too high compared to the competition and the services provided.

Decent hotel nice view of beach and mountains, rooms have nice views but a few things make it far from a 5 star hotel They were busy with renovations during our stay, there is no proper walkway to the beach which is a major inconvenience, the front gates by walkway don't allow anyone to enter beach you have to walk through a dirty path and cross brown water that flows to sea. The food was good yet this place lacks a few things to make it a top resort

Very old hotel, not a 5 star level: old equipment, our phone did not work even after a tech brought another one (it was necessary as our flight was cancelled and the airline booked the hotel), WiFi did not work for hours (another important detail when your flight is cancelled). Some of the staff is friendly and helpful, another does not know what a 5 star hotel costumer service is (after our flight was cancelled we arrived to the hotel at 5 am. Though we had breakfast and lunch included, after a verg stressful night, us and other passangers obviously did not get up for breakfast. However, the lunch formula was unnecessarily strict. Coffee was not included in the lunch menu so they could not make an exception and give it to us within lunch. This is NOT good customer service. Taking into account that we did not have breakfast though it was paid for, to give your client a cup of coffee is a normal gesture by the hotel management. However, it was refused at the manager level). Disappointed by the service and value/money and happy to realise that for our vacation we were booking private villas and had the best customer experience ever.

Very beautiful resort. Had a very good vibe. The staff was friendly and polite. Shout out to Jambu who went out of way to arrange aalo parantha for breakfast specially for us. Seeing that we were on our honeymoon, they sent stuff for us in the house and made us feel special. I would highly recommend staying at beach front villas, it's an experience.

It is a luxurious resort located on the island of Mahé in Seychelles. Nestled between the lush tropical forests and the sparkling Indian Ocean, this resort offers a stunning setting for a relaxing vacation. The rooms are spacious and beautifully appointed, with modern amenities such as air conditioning, flat-screen TVs, and free Wi-Fi. One of the standout features of the resort is the excellent dining options. The resort also offers a wide range of activities and amenities to keep guests entertained. There is nice swimming pool, offering a range of treatments. The resort also has its own private beach, with crystal-clear waters and soft white sand. Overall, it is an outstanding resort that offers a luxurious and relaxing vacation experience. The stunning natural setting, excellent dining options, and wide range of amenities make it a great choice for couples, families, and anyone looking for a high-end vacation in Seychelles.

Happy with my stay, food in general could have been better. Where only there for 24hours but two screw-ups with our food almost pushes me towards 4 stars. Staff where excellent though and the hotel/location is great!

Property is comfortable and worth spending money.this was my second stay at the property. I felt welcomed on my 1 st visit however during my 2 nd visit I experienced casual attitude from the staff. They have casual and lazy attitude towards their customers not welcoming.

We could not see a better hotel chosen in the Seychelles, unbeatable treatment by the staff, the rooms are very clean and we came with the all-inclusive regime, so they called us two or three times a day from the reception to see if everything was going well and if we had the mini bar full. The quality of the food in each of its restaurants is quite good, also mention that the Hotel Story is owned by the same owner and you have all-inclusive access to its restaurants and bars where the people who work there are just as helpful and attentive as at Fisherman's Cove. Of course we recommend it 100x100 and if in the future we are going to return to the Seychelles Islands we will take the same hotel. The only thing that we did not like is the detail that we had all-inclusive and we had to leave the room at 11 in the morning but our transportation to take us to the airport did not come until 4:40 p.m. In the morning we could not use the all-inclusive and it is the first time since we have been in many hotels with this regime and in each of them they have let us take what we wanted until the time of arrival of our transfer to the airport is a detail a bit ugly on the part of the hotel, for the most part and we hope that in this aspect it will improve in the future

Lovely hotel and lovely staff. Few tiles missing in pool, but did not bother me. The service was 10/10. We got our room many hours before the 3 o'clock which was very very nice after long flight.

This is the best stay so far for me ! Absolutely stunning hotel ! I stayed in their executive ocean front suite and it was huge. The breakfast buffet was my favourite thing there! I can still taste the desserts ❤️. The location is also good. It’s close to a casino which is the only place in the area that opens till 2 am. The staff at the reception were so warm and welcoming. Thank you all. Big thanks to miss Vera and mr. Stephen (for my wooden hairbrush 😀)

With a serene view of Beau Vallon Beach and cushy environment, Fisherman’s Cove Resort is a suited pick for a vacation along the Northern coast of Mahé Island. Suites are decent and spacious. Pool is conforming and has a relaxing view of the Beach. Access to the beach isn’t direct and have to stretch out a small walk. Snorkelling and scuba diving is something worth an experience but it’s outside the premises. Cuisine is accommodating to all varieties. Breakfast has a bounteous buffet to make a choice from. Dinner Buffet and bar available with options as far as you can get. Self Drive options available for a trip around the place.

The greeting on arrival was warm and friendly. We received all the information so that no questions remained unanswered. The staff at reception are very helpful, courteous and available at any time. We were very excited about our room with a terrace, sea view and the bathtub in the middle of the room. The furnishings are stylish and everything is very well maintained and clean. Fresh towels, water and pastries every day. The hotel is quietly located directly on a bay, surrounded by a reef. The perfect starting point for a walk on the beach, snorkeling or bars and restaurants. Everything can be reached on foot in about 20-30 minutes. For excursions it is possible to be picked up directly. We bought a rechargeable bus ticket to explore the island flexibly. If necessary, transport such as taxis or car services can also be organized. The management is approachable, open-minded and constantly in contact with the guests. Only through direct communication and feedback can wishes or improvements be guaranteed. We were completely satisfied. All restaurants have a pleasant atmosphere and fantastic food. The culinary team and the service do a great job with passion. The staff are always very attentive and friendly. Special requests, e.g. for allergy sufferers, are also taken into account and numerous alternatives are offered. The perfect place to enjoy a fabulous dinner and breakfast. We had a wonderful time at Fisherman's Cove and are already looking forward to returning! We would like to thank everyone for the wonderful time and the great commitment to giving us an unforgettable vacation.

Me and my wife enjoyed our honeymoon in this picturesque hotel. They had nice service, staff always smiles and are very helpful, friendly. They were trying to assist as much as they can and we highly appreciate their efforts. Thanks for making our honeymoon unforgettable. 1 recommendation might be : bridge between gate to the beach and beach itself would be good. Special thanks to chiefs : Karan and Sameera. Their kitchen was always full of options and tasty. Enjoyed local food (grateful for Mutay :))

3 to 4 stars maximum. Pool needs major renovations. Tiles are missing. Some rooms are old and require major renovations as well. Breakfast-nothing special, bad coffee, high prices. However, reception staff not that bad.

This is no way a five star resort. It needs a major revamp . Some of the staff at breakfast were badly dressed and wore dirty clothes . There are some very good staff but also a few very rude uncaring staff . Overpriced . The general manager was not present

Great location, average food, majority of staff were pleasant. I’d say the hotel is more of a 3 or 4 star at most.

We were here for drinks when there was a bit of a downpour for a few minutes (well, it is the Tropics) and the cocktails served were excellent. This is a sister hotel to the Story but we were made to feel so welcome just coming back to Beau Vallon after a bit of a walk into the neighbouring area called Bel Ombre. They even served us a free cocktail each and when we asked why, it was pretty much, 'why not?'. We were also shown around the resort by a couple of members of staff and nothing seemed like too much trouble, but then this appears to be the genuine position of the Seychellois people, who are the consistently nicest bunch we've encountered in our travels. A lovely nation. Try this place for drinks. We can't comment on the rooms as we stayed at the Story Resort.

The Fisherman's Cove Resort in Seychelles is a truly remarkable destination that offers luxurious accommodations, world-class amenities, and breathtaking natural beauty. From the moment you arrive, you'll be greeted by warm hospitality and a sense of tranquility that washes away the stresses of everyday life. The resort boasts a range of accommodation options, from spacious ocean-view rooms to luxurious villas with private pools. I can't ever understand the star grading system because the beach up front and the pool as well were better at a 3 star resort we went prior to this one...but all in all lovely AF 👌🏻

Lovely hotel, best location on the island, best reef. After snorkeling on all beaches on Mahe and Sainte Anne marine park, this is absolutely the best snorkeling place of Mahe. Turtles, eagle rays, lots of angel fish, and live corals. The staff is very nice and helpfull, and the view is incredible. Total privacy and access to the huge beach of Beau Vallon, in one minute door to sea ! I totally disagree with the negative comments on this hotel, we've spent 15 marvellous days, touring the island with our rented car. Other beaches like the one at Fous Seasons might be more beautifull than Beau Vallon, but no coral, no angel fish, no turtle, no beach bar, no restaurants on the beach, no life. At this hotel you can choose between privacy and silence, or the animated beach.

One of the best stays in Seychelles. Loved the hospitality special thanks to Bed Prasad!! He made a customised drink for us and we enjoyed that with the amazing sunset view. He was very receptive to our taste and provided an amazing service. Would definitely visit this place again.

The value for money is disappointing, as the room charge is as much as 5 star hotel (Hilton & other chains), but the rooms need renovations and are dirty, food is nowhere near what is expected at a 5 star hotel and the service is poor. The beach/location is not great either, next to a busy road. We stayed in other similar priced hotels in Mahe, Praslin and La Digue and the experience at this hotel is much worse.

Amazing stay at Fisherman's cove and more than that the food at the Le cocoloba restaurant is so delicious and catered to our needs. The chef Robin and Bed made sure that we do not miss our home food. Absolutely marvelous !!!!! Sure gonna miss the place

We spend our honeymoon in this hotel and we stayed 14 days. It was the best time we had, we loved & enjoyed it so much! We got an upgrade to Junior Suite, it was always very clean and spacious. The food was great, we had booked breakfast - it was always diverse and delicious! We can also recommend the in-Room dining. The service was amazing, all employees were so kind and lovely - never had such a perfect service! We felt very welcome and in good hands! The hotel entrance and the pool area were stunning with such a beautiful view on the entire Beau Vallon Beach. We can absolutely recommend this place and we will come back for sure! Thank you!

Nice layout, very nice location, beautiful gardens, helpful and kind staff. 2 min walk from a great beach. The food served at the main restaurant is nice and decent. That said, the place is of URGENT need of a RENOVATION. It needs a bit of love and care. The rooms look tired and all the facilities could do with an upgrade. Unfortunately, the centre piece of the hotel, the swimming pool is in a really bad state…. not what you are expecting from a 5-star hotel…

The resort was great. We took the Junior ocean view suite, had a great room with ocean view. However the staffs were incompetent, i had requested for a special dinner and spoke to atleast 3 people but never got the expected result for our candle light dinner. It totally spoiled my surprise for my wife. The food was very expensive for its taste. Lacked quality and felt like a local roadside take away. The breakfast was great though. Overall good experience but could have been great if the staffs were attentive to details and requests from guests.

Rooms are beautiful can use some slight updating with paint in smal areas otherwise, everything is great location wise. Paris Seychelles food is top notch. Go for the private 4 course dining if you can for an even more romantic touch.

  • 4/5 simon k. 1 year ago on Google
Wonderful staff, views and pool. A very charming place to stay. Constructive criticism would be that it could do with a refresh (it is starting to look a little worn) and they could do with changing up the restaurant vibe also (although the food was decent).

The rooms were beautiful. Breakfast area had a beautiful view 😍. The staffs were extremely friendly. Especially the ladies at the reception. They welcomed us with welcomed drinks 🍸. We loved the deal that they had with STORY hotel. We will definitely come back.

The service from the staff and manager was excellent. Lynn - the Operations manager was very helpful. Always there to make our experience outstanding. Breakfast views were brilliant. All coffee options were available during breakfast including a choice of almond milk and other non-diary options. Paddle boards and snorkelling gear was provided for in-house guests free of charge. The resort is located on Beau Vallon Beach which has a beautiful beach to swim and relax on, and has many restaurants, few souvenir shops, food trucks etc. All these were around 1 km walking from the resort on the beach. The resort is an old property but we stayed in the Family suite and the room was good. We had a family room since we had 2 kids with us. But this room does not have an enclosed shower area. It's an open bathroom with some curtains so had to be very careful while showering if the kids were sitting in the room. The swimming pool needs repairs too as some tiles had come off the floor of the pool. The garden all around the resort is magnificent with lots of palm trees, traveller palms, starfruit trees etc. The resort has a tie up with Story Seychelles next door and we got 20% discount on all restaurants / spa at the Story.

Probably the best location and place to stay in Beau Vallon. Great views of the beach and bay. Great facilities, good food and friendly efficient staff.

Stayed for one night only, and thanks God! ! This is not a 5 star hotel, what a shame. -no Hand soap in a 5 star hotel, and in the middle of a global pandemic??! -water pressure in the shower absolutely insufficient -dirty areas in the room (eg. behind toilet seat, in the bathtub, on light switches) -generally the room and premises look outdated and in need of refurbishment -some basics didn't exist in the room (like easily accessible power sockets next to the bed which is incredible, we were 2 people, but the room was prepared for 1 person only) -WIFI didn't work most of the time in the entire hotel -phone in the room didn't work and couldn't be fixed by staff -staff is uncooperative, demotivated and not solution-oriented. Some staff were friendly, but that is simply not enough. -the beach is absolutely mediocre (in general and especially by Seychelles standards), access to the Beau Vallon Beach only possible through a smelly construction site This list of shortcomings could be continued. For a 5 star Hotel this is simply unacceptable and shameful, especially if you consider the prices. Don't book here!! You'll be bitterly disappointed and there are so many better places to stay on Seychelles!

Absolutely beautiful setting. We are staying in the hotel down the beach but we went here for a drink and sit on the jetty, just stunning

Resort is okay. But the location of the AC & Bed in the room is at the wrong place. Mostly the climate it is hot & humid in Seychelles n then plus in the room AC does not cool enough. Its hot in the room. Coz of it a person can not sleep properly. Please rectify this issue.

Beautiful hotel, friendly and accommodating staff. All of the front desk were kind and super helpful from acquiring taxi services, making meal recommendations, booking spa appointments, etc.
